论《金瓶梅词话》的“瑕疵”

《金瓶梅词话》的问世,距今已有约四百年的历史了。现在文学界已基本上共识为明代中叶万历年间的作品。当时,曾震惊文坛。先是以手抄本在士林中流传,后来才刊行于世。声誉顿起,人们惊喜不已,争相阅读,极口称奇称快。真是惊回首,发现竟有如此洞天。但更多的是低毁咒骂,斥为“淫书”。与《水讲传》,并称为“诲淫诲盗”之作,受到封建卫道者的挞伐。不过,仍然有人以“未得见”为根事户相传当时,刻印《金瓶梅词话》者,每罹家破人亡,天火烧店的惨祸。所以,历代以来,这部书,就成为“不名誉的小说”,②争论最多的小说,公认“秽书…     

拨正和反思中的尴尬——《鼓掌绝尘》对《金瓶梅》性爱观的反拨

本文主要论述了《鼓掌绝尘》对《金瓶梅》性爱观的拨正和反思,主要以“情”和“礼”来反拨《金瓶梅》中的“欲”,通过才子佳人的“才”来抵挡金钱“财”对人的异化。其实《鼓掌绝尘》对《金瓶梅》性爱观的拨正和反思正是才子佳人小说对人欲横流的晚明小说特别是艳情小说反拨的一个典型。但《鼓掌绝尘》终因其不成熟和《金瓶梅》在明朝不可替代的地位而落入了尴尬境地。这种拨正和反思最终也以“无奈”而收场,或者我们可以大胆地说,这种结果本身就是一种必然。     

从“虎中美女”与“梦幻泡影”论《金瓶梅》两大系统的主题差异

“虎中美女”与“梦幻泡影”分别是词话本《金瓶梅》与绣像本《金瓶梅》第一回中的重要意象,它们的文化含义与文本含义隐含了小说两大系统不同的主题意旨：“虎中美女”隐喻词话本《金瓶梅》儒家“文以载道”思想,强调“持盈慎满”;“梦幻泡影”则隐喻绣像本《金瓶梅》佛家“万事皆空”的主张,突出一切虚无。两大系统主题意旨的差异提醒研究者研究《金瓶梅》应该明确地限定研究系统。

《金瓶梅》在漫骂和赞扬声中渡过了三百多年。由于人们的社会地位、立场观点、思维方式的差异,对《金瓶梅》的社会价值和艺术价值一时还难作出相近的评价。 《金瓶梅》是我国封建文人以家庭生活为题材独创的第一部长篇小说。据考证,这部小说成书于明代隆庆二年至万历卅年(公元一五六八年至一六○二年)最早版本为万历四十五年(公元一六一七年)“东吴弄珠客”序的《金瓶梅词话》,尔后又有明代天启年     

近代汉语中介词“和、同、替”的特殊用法

现代汉语介词的“和”“同”表示“共同、协同”、“对象”等,是一类。“替”表示“动机·目的”,是另一类。这两类介词互相排斥,不能互换使用。然而,近代汉语里并不如此。本文把近代汉语这两类介词的特殊用法归纳为五小类,逐一考察它们在五部明清时代的白话小说里的分布情况。有些介词,《儒林外史》中有较多的互换使用现象,其他作品则稀少。但值得注意的是《金瓶梅词话》第53回至57回的介词与《儒林外史》一样,有较多的特殊用法。还有与《水浒传》重复部分中,《金瓶梅词话》对此种特殊用法大都作了修改。本文提出一个看法:《金瓶梅词话》原作者并不深谙这种介词用法。     

《金瓶梅词话》成书于万历年间新证——兼论《金瓶梅词话》借鉴《西游记》

《金瓶梅词话》中出现了"猪八戒",经考证这些都来自于小说《西游记》而不是杂剧《西游记》或其他,《金瓶梅词话》中还出现了一副对联及一句俗语,也极可能来源于小说《西游记》。小说《西游记》现存最早的刊本为万历二十年(1592年),则受小说《西游记》影响的《金瓶梅词话》不太可能早于此年,由此可得出《金瓶梅词话》当成书于万历年间。     

《金瓶梅》的几种本子

概略言之,《金瓶梅》版本有四种:一、抄本,书名题作《金瓶梅》,明万历二十年以后开始流传。抄本《金瓶梅》有多种,具有研究价值。二、词话本,书名均有“词话”二字。最初出现的词话本《新刻金瓶梅词话》大约刻于明万历四十五年,故又称“万历本”。词话本是根据抄本改编的。国内外能见到的词话本有多种。根据刻本作了某些删改的新排本,

《金瓶梅词话》中的“以唱代言”现象存在着一个在后二十一回中遽增的情况 ,这说明《金瓶梅词话》后二十一回与前七十九回 (除去五十三至五十七回 ,实为七十四回 )在创作时并非出于一时或一人之手。

小引《金瓶梅词话》虽然是一部自话长篇小说,但是读懂读通并不容易。香港学者马力先生在《评梅节点校本<金瓶梅词话>》中说到:“大陆研究《金瓶梅》的学者王汝梅也承认,《金瓶梅词话》‘有很多句子、词语尚读不懂、读不通’。”(《明报月刊》1988年3月号)他引述的这句话是我本着实事求是精神说的。我深感读《金瓶梅》之难。概言之,读《金瓶梅》之难有三:
