一、幼儿科技教育的目的幼儿科技教育的目的是传授科技知识亦或培养科学能力还是其他什么这是必须要搞清楚的原则问题。我认为幼儿科技活动的惟一目的是培养儿童的综合性可能偏重智力性基础素质。近年来对幼儿科技教育活动的一些争论及科技教育实验中出现的问题,往往要害就在于此。所谓“小幼衔接”的问题,关键在于理解“衔接”的内涵,即衔接什么,我认为应该理解为“基础素质”的衔接,而非“基础知识”的衔接,否则难免使幼儿科技教育变成小学常识课。多年来“小幼衔接”问题解决得不理想,原因就在于此。其实解决了学前儿童…  相似文献

It has been hypothesized that the development of medical expertise may be characterized by structural changes in the knowledge base, a process termed “knowledge encapsulation” (Schmidt, Norman, & Boshuizen, Academic Medicine, 65, 611–621, 1990). Until now this process has been investigated using a cross-sectional paradigm, comparing levels of expertise often far apart. The present study applies a follow-up approach, covering the first two years of apprenticeship of medical students (the clerkships) and includes a comparison between high- and low-achieving students. Experience level appears to be correlated with structural changes in the knowledge base and with the quality of the diagnosis. Achievement level has a weak correlation with the quality, but not with the structure of the knowledge. It is concluded that high and low achievers do not differ in the way their knowledge structures change as a consequence of practical experience. Implications for teaching and learning in practical settings are discussed.  相似文献

Teacher-conducted assessments of practical skills are a compulsory component of GCSE examinations in science in England and Wales. The paper presents some of the findings of a research project that investigated this aspect of a science teacher's work. The project was concerned principally with the ways in which science teachers interpreted and operationalised the policy decision of central government and examination boards that teachers assume responsibility for the internal assessment of the practical competence of pupils aged 14–16 preparing for GCSE examinations in science. In higher education teaching, enhancing learner autonomy has become a key concern for curriculum planners and classroom teachers. The significant body of research about learner autonomy in language learning over the last 20 years (e.g. Holec 1981, 1988; Riley 1985; Dickinson 1987, 1992; Wenden & Rubin 1987; Little, 1991; Dam, 1995; Benson & Voller, 1997) has indicated an on-going search for more understanding of how learner autonomy can be implemented in different contexts. This paper is based on a research study which was conducted in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong. The study explores learners' attitudes and expectations of language learning, teacher and learner roles, their learning preferences and perceptions of learner autonomy. The paper reports the results and discusses their implication on the development of a learner-centred approach in higher education.  相似文献

International research collaboration raises questions about how groups from different national and institutional contexts can work together for common ends. This paper uses issues that have arisen in carrying out the first stage of an international research project to discuss a framework designed to map different kinds of multi-national research collaboration in terms of increasing complexity and increasing time to research outputs. The paper explores factors that enable and that constrain progress in carrying out collaborative research. The paper highlights the complex interplay within research practice of factors that derive from institutional structures and those that appertain to individuals as agents. It uses the personal and collective reflexive deliberations of the authors, to demonstrate that as the complexity of the research interface increases, and as the time to research outputs increases, so structural risk increasingly develops into agentic risk, and that structural risk becomes increasingly required to be managed through agentic action.  相似文献

Drawing on arguments by Carolyn Miller, Steven Katz, and others, this essay claims that teaching ethics is particularly important to technical writing. Next, the essay outlines a classical, sophistic approach to ethics based on the theories and pedagogies of Protagoras, Gorgias, and Isocrates. This sophistic approach emphasizes the Greek concept of nomos, internal and external deliberation, and responsible action or articulation. 行政管理过程中的个体理性是指个体基于自身利益所追求的至高无上的个体价值,而集体理性是指为了维护集体利益而所追求的至高无上的集体价值,包括高利润,内部稳定和成员公平等价值。个体理性是为集体理性服务的,集体理性也要照顾到个体理性,当然有时可能会牺牲个体理性。本文论述了行政管理中个体理性与集体理性的冲突,提出协调两者之间的关系方法,尽量做到两者协同发展。  相似文献
