高等教育作为一门学科

高等教育是一门学科,还是一个研究领域,长期以来争议颇多。高等教育能否作为一门学科,应根据历史的经验,参照学科制度化的标准,透过现象看本质。无论名称如何———称为研究领域或是称为"学科",世界范围内,高等教育已处在学科制度化的进程之中。     

营造现代远程开放教育教学环境的研究

本文结合江门市电大开展“人才培养模式改革和开放教育试点”项目研究工作,努力营造现代远程开放教育教学环境,以环境陶冶人,以环境塑造人,探索具有地市电大特点和可操作性的现代化教学环境建设方案。     

远程教育社会学:从分支研究领域到分支学科

远程教育的学科发展需要从多学科多角度进行研究,社会学便是一种必要的和可行的研究视角.随着远程教育实践和研究的不断深入发展,远程教育社会学有望从远程教育学的分支研究领域迈向分支学科.作为一门分支学科,远程教育社会学与教育社会学虽然有一些类似的地方,但也有诸多不同之处,后者显然不能替代或涵盖前者.     

The documentation of distance education: a personal view

Following a brief account of the work of the Open University International Documentation Centre on Distance Learning, different forms of documentation in distance education: books, materials produced in connection with distance teaching programmes, journals and journal articles, and report literature, are identified and described. The central focus of the article is a critique of the treatment of the literature of distance education by two ERIC international bibliographical services. Proposals are made to survey existing bibliographical provision worldwide.     

远程教育的均等理论——来自美国的远程教育理论

本文分析了远程教育均等理论产生的背景和主要思想,并对构成均等理论的关键要素进行了详细的介绍。均等理论在界定了均等、学习经验、有效应用、学生和学习成果等五个关键要素的基础上,提出了远程学习者在学习中获得的学习经验与常规学习学生在学习中获得的经验越相等,则他们所取得的学习成果也越接近。这一理论对于我国现正进行的基于现代信息技术的远程教育理论研究和实践探索具有一定的启发意义。     

后现代教育观对远程教育的启示

通过计算机网络实施教育的远程教育已成为我国教育的主要形式，而后现代主义正是计算机和电子信息时代的产物。文章首先介绍了后现代教育观，并从教育目的、课程建设和师生关系和教育评价四个方面阐述后现代教育观对我国远程教育的启示。     

论国防教育学科的创生

普通高等学校国防教育课程教学已逐步走向制度化、规范化,创生国防教育学科成为一个亟待研究解决的问题。首先,国防教育事业发展的迫切需要是创生国防教育学科的必要前提,一是全民国防教育事业的发展要求有学理上的支撑,二是普通高等学校国防教育课程教学需要学科理论的指导;其次,创生国防教育学科是学科发展的必然趋势,因为学科创生的内在条件已经具备,外部条件也已基本成熟。我们应通过加强国防教育的学科意识,大力开展相应的理论研究,努力争取外部建制的推动,早日创生国防教育学,以促进高等学校国防教育的良性发展。     

The challenge of a distance learning professional doctorate in education

This article summarises research into the effectiveness of a distance learning doctorate in education (EdD). Drawing on an emerging literature which attempts to conceptualise professional doctorates as distinctive from the PhD, we developed a case‐study approach to investigate the EdD student experience. Four themes emerge which are developed into a model of professional outcomes: professionalisation; professional change; bridging the academic/professional divide; and professional self‐esteem. We argue none of these outcomes would have been achieved so effectively for these distance students without a highly structured but flexible support system.

Support for distance learners in a Nigerian distance education programme

This paper reports on a research study that draws on the perceptions of students, tutors, field centre coordinators and central management to evaluate the support services provided to students in the National Teachers’ Institute’s distance teacher training programme. Within a conceptual framework that built upon models of teaching and learning at_A_distance, both quantitative and qualitative approaches were used for data collection and analysis. Although the major forms of support provided were found to be relevant to students, the study highlights the need to improve the current level of student satisfaction by strategies that will improve the supply of course materials and tutorial support, enhance students networking and exploit the use of multimedia.     

移动学习研究对远程教育的影响

移动学习(M-learning)是继数字化学习后出现的又一新型学习模式,是教育技术领域研究的又一个新热点.如何充分有效的使用移动通讯技术来辅助各类教学和学习成为移动学习研究的中心.本文从移动学习研究的内容以及当前的研究情况等方面阐述了国内外在移动学习领域的研究状况和研究成果,并就移动学习对远程教育研究的理论意义进行阐述.旨在为从事移动学习研究和远程教育应用的教育工作者提供借鉴.     

泰国远程汉语教育的春天

泰国卫星远程教育电视台于1995年开播,收视网已覆盖全泰国约3000所国立和私立学校,播授初、高中各科目课程.泰国华文教育历经限制、放宽、再限制、再放宽的历程,随着中泰友好关系的发展,目前在政策扶持和皇室的呵护下,得以在泰国卫星远程教育电视台作为五国外语教学之一开播,并由泰国中华总商会和卫星远程教育基金会成立了汉语教材编写工作委员会,编写了<实用汉语教程>全套教材.
