辽宁地域化是一种具有辽宁地城特色的化存在形态，它具有浓重的关东化的精神渊源，也是中华化多样性的体现。它属于中华化区域中的亚化类型。地域化的价值更多地表现为地域自身化精神特征的显现。在辽宁人的性格和化观念中，形成了一种延续至今的“关东化意识”。这个地域化是一个内容丰富的化系统。独特的历史背景，历史上大规模的移民现象，多民族混居的社会生存形态，历史上多种化的交融与冲突，独特的地理气候环境等多元要素，构成了辽宁地域化的基本特征。由于地域化的积淀影响，在辽宁人的性格中。坚韧乐观、豁达豪爽、开放宽容的阳刚品格，是性格中的优点；而易满足，少激情，容易小富即安和知足常乐的阴性气质，则是性格的消极方面。
