Romantic relationships: an important context for HIV/STI and pregnancy prevention programmes with young people

Romantic relationships are central in the lives of young people. This paper uses data on romantic relationships from urban youth in the USA to illustrate how using a relationships perspective in HIV/STI and pregnancy prevention programmes broadens the skills and content covered, and contextualises the learning to enhance relevance and use. Self-report survey data were collected using electronic handheld devices for a school-based randomised trial. The survey sample includes 911 young people (mean age = 12.4 years) representative of their schools. Logistic regressions explored associations between selected sexual behaviours and relationship characteristics. For all participants, having more boy/girlfriends, dating alone, ever touching and ever having had oral sex were associated with an increased likelihood of having vaginal sex. Among young people with current partners, having a partner three or more years older, length of relationship and ever having oral sex were associated with an increased likelihood of having vaginal sex. The study data confirm the importance of accounting for relationships in sexual risk reduction programmes, and provide avenues for enhancing the relevancy of typical school-based prevention programmes.     

基于女性性别脆弱性分析的艾滋病防治对策

文章在以云南省艾滋病人口分性别进行研究的基础上，提出基于女性性别脆弱性的艾滋病防治对策，对于减少女性人口在面对艾滋病时的脆弱性，提高艾滋病防治的效率具有重要的意义。     

远程素质教育模型与模式：从理论到实践

远程素质教育的模型建构和模式建构是影响远程素质教育开展的两大命题。通过对北京广播电视大学所属30所分校、工作站和教学点的55位教职员工和9个分校13个专业的334名学习者进行问卷调查,尝试建构了从职业到学业再到职业的远程素质教育金字塔模型,该模型从塔基到塔顶依次由远程生理素质教育、远程心理素质教育、远程道德素质教育、远程思政素质教育、远程文化素质教育和远程能力素质教育6大维度构成。在此基础上,提出了从校内到校外的远程素质教育模式,该模式由知识积累素质和能力转化素质构成,前者关注人才培养模式的设计和教师水平的提高,后者重点解决教学实践和社会实践的问题。     

Into the community and not on the shelf: learning to develop a meaningful HIV/AIDS curriculum for multiple communities

This paper describes the process involved in creating a community-based training curriculum designed to build capacity and foster new knowledge in support of HIV/AIDS education. Highlighted are the challenges and triumphs incurred while working with community and academic partners to ensure the production of an adaptable curriculum designed to accommodate diverse teaching and learning styles. The curriculum provides teachers, community leaders and peer educators with knowledge and skills to competently deliver HIV/AIDS information, regardless of previous training in sexual health education. Educators are encouraged to adapt the curriculum according to community/classroom needs. Also highlighted is the need for creating further opportunities that enable teachers, community practitioners and researchers to collaborate around issues that influence learners' lives.     

从“形成性评价”到“学习性评价”：课堂评价理论与实践的新发展

"学习性评价"是在"形成性评价"基础上发展演变而来的、为适应新一轮国际基础教育改革而产生的课堂评价理论及其指导下的课堂评价实践。"学习性评价"的五大核心理念体现了国际基础教育评价理念经历的重大变化。"学习性评价"与"形成性评价"既有密切联系又有显著区别。我国需要从评价制度(如督导)和政策层面上确立"学习性评价"在课程与教学中的地位,积极发挥"学习性评价"对课程与教学改革的促进作用。
