关于独立学院非英语专业学生书面语中口语化倾向的研究

本研究基于语料库研究法,以自建小型语料库为研究对象,对中国学习者英语语料库(CLEC)中参加大学英语四级和六级考试学生的书面语语料,母语为英语的本族语者(Brown)书面语语料库语料,以及母语为英语的本族语者(BNCWorld Spoken)口语语料库语料进行对比,并对这些语料在平均词长、平均句长、标准型(次比)、读者(作者)显现度和不同词频等级的词汇分布情况等方面进行研究。研究表明:1.该小型语料库中,学生书面语确实存在口语化倾向的情况。2.英语水平和该语料库中学生书面语存在口语化倾向的现象之间没有绝对关系。本文还探讨了可能造成这些差异的成因,并为后续的教学提出了建议。     

基于语料库的英语同义词辨析

丰富的同义词一方面为人们更准确、更细致地表达思想、概念和意义提供了条件,另一方面由于其意义相似或重合也成为学习者在英语学习中的难点。借助语料库及检索软件从类连接、搭配和语义韵的角度对英语中的同义词GAIN和OBTAIN在本族语语料库BNC中的运用进行分析,证明了使用语料库索引对英语中的同义词进行辨析是有效的方法,该方法是对借助英语词典学习英语词汇方法的验证与补充。
