初中物理核心素养的要素分析与培养策略

核心素养是知识、能力与情感态度、价值观的综合体现,也是学生适应社会所必备的关键能力。本文以初中物理为切入点,对核心素养的要素展开分析,并对其培养策略进行探究。     

Learning Environment and Attitudes Associated with an Innovative Science Course Designed for Prospective Elementary Teachers

This study assessed the effectiveness of an innovative science course for improving prospective elementary teachers’ perceptions of laboratory learning environments and attitudes towards science. The sample consisted of 27 classes with 525 female students in a large urban university. Changing students’ ideas about science laboratory teaching and learning and creating more positive attitudes towards science were accomplished by using a guided open-ended approach to investigations, together with instructors who used cooperative learning groups to create a supportive environment. Ideas and attitudes prior to the course were assessed using a questionnaire focusing on the students’ previous science laboratory courses, and these were compared to data collected at the end of the course. Students reported large and statistically significant improvements on all seven scales assessing the laboratory learning environment and attitudes towards science. The largest gains were observed for Open-Endedness and Material Environment (with effect sizes of 6.74 and 3.82 standard deviations, respectively). An investigation of attitude-environment associations revealed numerous positive and statistically significant associations in both univariate and multivariate analyses. In particular, the level of Instructor Support was the strongest independent predictor of student attitudes at two levels of analysis.

An Investigation of How a Physics Professional Development Course Influenced the Teaching Practices of Five Elementary School Teachers

This paper reports the results of an investigation of how a professional development content course based on the Physics and Everyday Thinking (PET) curriculum affected the teaching practices of five case study elementary school teachers. The findings of this study highlight different ways that teachers use what they learn in content courses to teach science to elementary children. While some teachers transferred pedagogical practices along with the content, others transformed the content to be useful in already existing pedagogical frameworks, and still others show little or no evidence of transfer. The range of transfer is explained by considering how each teacher interacted with the learning context (the PET curriculum) and their initial ideas about teaching science.

湖北省第二届小学运用科学、数学学具优质课评比工作于2005年12月结束.这次报送参评的作品共计65件,其中数学41件,科学24件.经过专家认真评审评出一等奖10件(其中数学7件,科学3件);二等奖19件(其中数学13件,科学6件);三等奖28件(其中数学20件,科学8件).运用学具教学是教师的一项基本功,我们想就这次评比中出现的问题谈一些想法,供老师们参考.

关于中小学教师职后教育困惑的思考

虽然我国中小学教师的职后教育一直都在开展进行,但不少地方和学校的职后教师教育流于形式,收效甚微却是不争的事实。无论是在职的校本培训或是脱产的继续教育都没有提升其实效性,自身相反存在专业管理机构缺失,相关法律法规缺位,经费投入短缺等问题。所以追求合适教师的有效性教育才是关注职后教师教育者需要用心的地方。

The Effectiveness of Jigsaw II on Prospective Elementary School Teachers

Jigsaw is a well‐known and frequently used technique in cooperative learning. As part of ongoing studies to develop the technique, this research concentrates on exploring its use with prospective elementary school teachers (PTs). In order to establish PTs' views regarding Jigsaw and its effective on their academic success a proficiency test and questionnaire were administered and observations were made. Eighty‐one PTs from the Elementary Education Department at Cukurova University attending a math teaching course (MTC) participated. Forty‐five of these participants were in the experimental group and 36 in the control group. Findings show that Jigsaw II had a positive effect (effect size = 1.06) on PTs' academic success as well as on their views regarding the technique itself.

随着“校校通”工程的实施 ,各中小学校园网的建成 ,对教育领域最基层管理人员的专业能力与素养的培养被逐渐引起重视。笔者以从事基层网络管理、信息教育的经验为鉴 ,简述了几年来管理学校计算机网络和计算机设备的一些心得与技巧 ,提出了中小学网管人员必备的能力和素养之浅见 ,以此作为各中小学网管人员学习课程的一点参考。     

Toward a Student-Centered Learning Focus Inventory for Junior High and Middle School Teachers

Abstract

An instrument was developed to assess the relative student-centeredness of junior high and middle school teachers. The final 16-item semantic differential version had a reliability coefficient of .83. It correlated .47 (substantial relationship) with principals’ judgments of the student-centeredness of individuals on a junior high school faculty.
