Little or no research has been done on the counseling practicum grade as a measure of counseling effectiveness. This study explored the intellective and nonintellective differences among males with A, B, and C grades in the counseling practicum. Significant differences among grade categories were observed on 7 of 17 variables. The nature and direction of the differences among males with grades of A, B, or C suggested that practicum grades tend to make valid discriminations between candidates with high and low potential as counselors.  相似文献

本文针对专业学位的机械工程类硕士研究生,给出该类研究生的有限元课程教学实践方法。该方法改变了传统的教学模式,采用工程实践案例教学,与业界优化领域专家一起授课,将工业界先进的工程实践教学引入课堂。在课程中讲授了有限元分析的基本理论和方法以及有限元软件(ANSYS)的应用。教学实践表明,这些措施有利于提高学生对工程有限元方法这门课程的兴趣,并提高机械工程研究生的动手能力和解决实际复杂机械系统设计计算问题的能力。  相似文献

Abstract

This study examined the influence of the incorporation of set induction into teacher’s instructional strategies upon pupil achievement and pupil perception of teacher effectiveness. One hundred and eighty ninth-grade pupils were randomly divided into eighteen groups of ten each. Eighteen pre-service teachers were assigned to these groups. One half of this teacher population was given instruction in the skill of incorporation of set induction in their instructional strategies and one half served as a control group. Data was gathered by administering pre-post test in achievement and Teacher Demonstration Rating Forms and was analyzed by an analysis of variance. The results supported previous research in the area of teacher effectiveness and indicated that set induction is an important variable in the determination of student achievement.  相似文献

Using phenomenological methodology, the authors explored the experiences of 11 men in a master's‐level counseling program. Participants described the challenges and advantages of being a minority in number, being in a relational environment, and having an awareness of a patriarchal system. 采用文献资料、比较研究、专家访谈等方法,分析我国体育硕士专业学位教育的历史演变,并将其划分为在职体育硕士培养试点期(2005-2008年),在职与全日制体育硕士培养并存发展期(2009-2015年)以及在职与全日制体育硕士并轨稳定期(2016-)三个阶段。这三个阶段的特点:第一个阶段为招生规模较小、学校数量的稳定性、培养目标的宽泛性、课程设置偏理论性、人才培养的导向性;第二阶段为招生学校数量扩大、招生规模不断增长、招生方式多元化、培养目标较宽泛、课程设置的滞后与理论化、奖助形式多样化、注重联合培养和产学结合;第三阶段为入学考试统一、招生规模稳定、培养质量一致、延续已有的培养机制。现存在:专业领域划分与社会需求脱节、专业学位硕士与学术学位硕士培养趋同、联合培养形式化、知识成果转化效率低、缺乏科学的教育评价体系等问题。从四个方面提出改革路径:服务经济社会需求、破除体制机制障碍,更新人才培养理念、不断提升培养质量,创新人才培养模式、提升知识转化效率,释放多元主体活力、构建科学评价体系,希望能为进一步完善我国体育硕士专业学位教育提供些许参考。  相似文献

一年制硕士学位发端于英国,之后向原英属殖民地国家和地区扩展.一年制硕士学位入学资格要求宽松,培养目标侧重应用,考察方式以课程考试为主.其优势表现为入学申请相对容易,培养周期短,毕业生竞争力强;劣势表现为繁重的学业易造成学生的精神高度集中和学习压力巨大.一年制硕士学位受到我国出国留学人员的普遍欢迎,但实践表明,学生选择一年制硕士学位的目的 已背离其设置的初衷,且一年制硕士学位与我国硕士学位制度不对等,已对我国学位制度造成冲击,故建议教育相关部门对一年制硕士学位的认证进行适当限制.  相似文献

This phenomenological study investigated the experiences of 8 Black students enrolled in a master's‐level counseling program. Five themes central to participant experiences were identified: (a) isolation as a Black student, (b) tokenization as a Black student, (c) lack of inclusion of Black counselor perspectives within course work, (d) differences between support received by faculty of color and support received by White faculty, and (e) access to support from people of color and White peers. Nine faculty from 4 counselor education departments were interviewed regarding the evaluation criteria and decision‐making processes used during selection interviews. Ten characteristics were identified that participants looked for during interviews. There was a high degree of agreement among participants on the evaluation criteria they used. However, the same homogeneity was not found in decision‐making processes. Counselor educators seemed to use selection interviews to screen out applicants who were unsuitable rather than to select the most qualified applicants. Evaluation criteria and procedures should be refined to increase the benefits of using interviews in the selection process.  相似文献
