论晁迥的庄学思想

在儒、道、释三教合流的思想背景下,以庄学为中心调和儒、道、释,成为宋代庄学的重要特点之一。晁迥不仅积极调和庄子与儒家思想、庄子与佛学的关系,他还吸收佛学和老庄思想中的修道理论重新组合成“虚空为体,心息为用”的修身心法,体现了佛教心性论对宋代庄学的渗透。

朱熹理学与天台佛学的关系

宋代儒学一变孔孟传统风格,以心性为核心建立起人生哲学体系,后人把这一代儒学别称为“理学”。理学家纷纷援佛入儒,借以建立起自己的思想体系。朱熹吸收了佛学天台宗的“实相”说、“性恶”说和“一念、三千”等理论,建构起自己以“天理”为本体的、以“理一分殊”为特色的人生心性学说。     

自性清净心与本觉

心性被解释为"自性清净心",说此心"本觉",乃印度如来藏系经论中的核心思想,中国佛学对此义进行发挥,成为华化佛学诸宗的理论基础,并有具体指本觉之"觉"为"灵寂之知"的说法.本觉及灵寂之知说乃佛学界长期争议不决的重要问题,本文对印度及中国自性清净心及本觉说的原义作了整理,并略作评议.     

佛学与戊戌前后知识人精神世界的重构——以《忘山庐日记》为个案的分析

戊戌前后是晚清知识人心灵秩序从崩溃到重建的转折期,佛学为此提供了重要的思想支撑。孙宝瑄《忘山庐日记》对这一时段知识人佛学兴趣的高涨、政治文化思潮与佛教思想的交涉、儒学内在调整过程中的儒佛关系均有翔实的记录。从《日记》中亦可考见:就思想的形上超越层面而言,在"哲学"学科最初构建的晚清时期,佛学与中国古代心性之学、西方哲学心理学传统结合,造就了佛学色彩浓厚的,以"心物图式"为核心的"新世界观";就思想的社会政治层面而言,春秋公羊学是今文经学的中坚,也是戊戌维新运动的思想基础,《日记》对知识界中流行的"三教三世"、"未来净土"等论题有较丰富的记载,由此可见,佛学对清末公羊春秋学的渗入,佛学丰富了维新派政治变革的理论内涵,强化了他们人类精神自我救赎的政治信念。     

袁宏道“性灵说”之佛学渊源

袁宏道参禅习佛，受佛学思想影响极深。禅宗“物格”公案是袁宏道由“外参”到“内悟”的重要契机，这对其“性灵说”有着深刻启示。在文学发生方面，有得于禅宗心性论，袁宏道强调主体心性的地位和作用，主张创作主体自由抒发真情真性；在心物关系方面，受永明延寿“一心统万法”思想影响，袁宏道提出“以心摄境”。佛学思想对袁宏道“性灵”思想的形成多有沾溉。     

叶燮作家论初探

清代初期的叶燮(1627—1703),是继刘勰之后又一位杰出的文艺理论家。在他的诗论专著《原诗》中,对文学创作的许多重大理论问题作了系统而精辟的论述。叶燮及其《原诗》,近些年来引起有关专家学者的重视,已有不少研究成果问世。但就笔者所见,对叶燮的作家论系统全面研究的成果还不多,本文拟就这一问题,作一初步探讨。     

论老子守中语境中的叶燮审美语言学还原

本立足于老子语言观的守中论，探讨了叶燮审美意象的语言还原理论。叶燮的语言学还原实现了从语言的理性工具之用，还原为语言的审美理想之境；从语言的审美功用，还原为主体的生命意义。     

叶燮《原诗》新论

清代初期的叶燮(1627——1730)是一位值得高度重视的文学家兼文学理论家。他的诗文创作虽然没有什么突出的成就,但也仍有闪光的东西在;他的文学理论(主要是诗论)是一笔富有民主性精华的遗产,其中有很多精辟的见解,对我们今天的文学创作、文学评论仍有借鉴意义。叶燮及其著作,历来不受重视,这和叶燮的社会地位低微,其理论不与时合有直接关系。解放以来,郭绍虞、霍松林、敏则、蒋凡诸先生相继发表了他们的研究成果,为此项研究打开了局面。特别是敏则在其《中国文学理论批评史》中,对叶燮及其《原诗》作了相当高的评价,指出叶燮是“我国十七世纪的一位重要的唯物主义思想家,我国美学和文学理论批评

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
