＂Time for Chinese＂ Held in Benin＇s Chinese Culture Center

On July 11, a Chinese language proficiencydevelopment event, entitled ＂Time for Chinese＂, was held in China Culture Center in Benin. It was the 7th session of this cultural event, aiming to showcase results that Benin＇s Chinese language Learners had achieved in the center＇s training programs, Some 80 persons attended the event.

Polish Olympic Stamps and Chopin Posters Displayed in Beijing

The exhibition ＂Olympic Stamps from Polish Chopin＇s Hometown＂, a major event of Culture Festival, was held from May 18 to June 2 in Boyi Gallery in Beijing. ＂ China in London 2008＂ Brings China and UK Closer

On February 6, 2008, the eve of the Chinese Year of Rat, Chinese red lanterns ignited major shopping streets of London. For the third year running, the ＂China in London＂ season was officially launched with grand parades. This spectacular event, aiming to showcase China＇s fascinating history and culture and strengthen ties between China and UK, has attracted a huge number of local residents and many prestigious institutions like the British Museum and the Royal Opera House.

The exhibition of ＂Olympic Fine Arts 2008＂ opened in Beijing International Exhibition Center on August 11 in celebration of the 29th Olympic Games. The event was initiated by the International Olympic Committee and co-organized by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the Organizing Committee of Beijing Olympic Games. With the theme of ＂China and the world＂ and the slogan of ＂Art makes Olympics better＂, this international gala for art precisely expressed and continued the spirit and concept of ＂Olympic Contest for Sports and Art＂, an event that was held in Sydney and Athens respectively,     

China in the Eyes of Arab Painters--Exhibition on Works of Residence Program for Arab Painters

On September 10, 2014 a grand opening ceremony of＂China in the Eyes of Arab Painters＂, an exhibition on works of residence program tor Arab painters, took place at the National Art Museum of China. ＂New Beijing, New Olympics＂ Displayed in Sydney

The annual Sydney Royal Agriculture Exposition took place in the Olympic Park last April, one of the large-scale public events organized by Sydney Municipal Government which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. At the exposition this year, the exhibition ＂New Beijing, New Olympics＂, co-organized by the State Information Office of China and the Information Office of Beijing Municipality, was displayed, which added much glamour to the event.     

Nanjing Fascinated by Arabic Charms

On June 27, 2006, the Arabic Arts Festival （Nanjing leg）, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Jiangsu Provincial Culture Department and Nanjing Municipal Government, was launched in Nanjing Culture and Arts Center. The Arabic Arts Festival, the first of its kind jointly presented by 22 Arab nations in China, was a significant cultural event following the establishment of China-Arab Cooperation Forum in 2004. Major activities of the festival were presented in Beijing and as the only leg besides Beijing, Nanjing host several large-scale performances of Arabic singing and dancing arts.
