Is There a New Bibliography?

Describes the position claiming that the contemporary technological, sociopolitical, and socioeconomic environment gives us pause to consider the core theory and practices of bibliography, combining bibliography of the work (in library and information science), bibliography of the text (in textual studies and scholarly editing), and bibliography of the artifact (in book history and now digital forensics), and calls for collaborative multidisciplinary research at the intersection of these fields to ask, is there a new bibliography?     

从《中图法》设置的目录学类列谈科学分类在文献分类法中的应用

认为建立分类法类目体系应把以科学分类为基础作为一个基本原则,不能因强调文献的特征而忽视各学科的特性和运动规律。《中国图书馆分类法》5个版本对目录学类列所设子目的细目的扩缩变化,既遵循学科发展原则,也遵循文献保证原则。提出《中国图书馆分类法》对目录著作的列类应体现分类法对科学分类的遵循,组建一个完整的目录学知识系统,促进目录学的持续发展。     

电子时代的古籍书目设计

中国古代的书目分简单的外表目录和详细的提要目录。受纸材质和西方目录的影响,近现代的目录基本是简目形式,性质只是找书而非学术。进入电子时代,目录载体不再受纸质束缚。本文认为应弘扬中国古代传统"辨章学术"的目录学思想而编制详目。文章归纳了电子目录的优点,对电子目录从外表到内容提出了与他目较大不同的探讨设计,力求发挥目录应有的功能。     

中国目录学的现状与未来

文章概述了20世纪90年代以来目录学取得的成就，分析了当代目录学研究存在的主要问题。作者提出中国目录学应当积极地面对信息技术的挑战，建立包括文献目录学、信息目录学和知识目录学在内的新体系。文章还讨论了21世纪目录学的发展转向。     

图书馆中文图书征订书目排行榜实证研究

目前,我国可供图书馆使用的征订书目主要有《全国总书目》、《中国在版编目快报》、《新华书目报》、书商征订书目和出版社书目。其中,书商征订书目成为图书馆中文图书书目预订的最主要选择,而在书商征订书目中,中国教育图书进出口公司书目、北京人天书店有限公司书目和武汉三新书业有限公司书目的使用率居排行榜的前3名。     

宋代专科目录发展成就述略

宋代是我国封建文化发展的巅峰时期,也是我国古典目录学发展的一个高潮期,其中专科目录在理论上和实践上都有了长足的进步。新的专科目录种类如金石学、子学目录相继出现,传统的专科目录如文学、佛学、书画等在体例和著录方法上都得到了进一步发展和创新。宋代专科目录学的成就极大丰富了我国传统专科目录学的内涵。     

论当代目录学的失衡

对古典目录学和当代目录学进行比较研究,指出当代目录学研究领域中存在的一些问题,认为当代目录学研究应沿着学科自身轨道发展。     

关于中国文献学学科体系的研究综述

文章分阶段对中国文献学学科体系的研究流派做了简要介绍，重点论述了20世纪中国文献学研究体系化后的古典文献学、现代文献学、大文献学及专科文献学的各种代表性学科体系。

The paper considers the limits and structure of the Russian national retrospective bibliography, a document as an object of the national retrospective bibliography, the kinds of resources held by the national retrospective bibliography of Russia and the centers of their creation, and the conditions of the records for nontraditional kinds of documents (printed, unpublished, and electronic).     

近十年来青少年推荐书目发展与特征研究

近年来,青少年推荐书目问题日益得到了多方的关注。和成年人推荐书目相比,青少年推荐书目有着自身特色,而不仅体现在内容上。文章以此为分析对象,综合了近十年来青少年推荐书目发展变化的规律和特点。     

Bilingual and Multilingual Legal Dictionaries in the European Union: An Updated Bibliography

This annotated bibliography is intended to shed light on the availability and distribution of legal dictionaries that translate the twenty-seven European languages. The representative corpus consists of about 200 printed bilingual legal dictionaries (BLDs) with terms from two or more legal languages used in the European Union. This bibliography aims to illustrate the wide variation in the quality of these BLDs by the usage of three special headings and by referring to relevant professional reviews. In addition, the authors have commented upon noticeable BLDs that deserve serious criticism or special attention. This annotated bibliography updates the previous bibliography (Gerard-René de Groot & Conrad J. P. van Laer. The Quality of Legal Dictionaries: An Assessment [Maastricht Faculty of Law Working Paper No. 2008/6, 2008]) and covers almost all recently published BLDs. However, this bibliography is not exhaustive because of the dispersion of publishing houses: Each publisher issues only two BLDs, on average.

To Plan,or Not to Plan,Is There Even a Question? A Select Annotated Bibliography of Urban Studies Periodicals Focused on Planning

A bibliography of periodicals focused on planning within the urban studies field is presented. The bibliography contains scholarly, trade, and popular titles. Each entry contains identical categories of information (where each category is applicable), including an annotation. The bibliography is meant to aid in collection development in this subject area.     

Examining Housing Policy: A Select Annotated Bibliography of Housing Policy–Focused Periodicals

A bibliography of resources focused on housing policy is presented. The bibliography is broken up into two sets, a set of publications focusing on housing policy in the United States and a set focused on housing policy at a multi- or international level. Each entry is detailed with the same categories of information, where applicable. Useful online housing policy resources (organizations, data sets) are provided as well.     

Walk This Way: A Select Annotated Bibliography of Periodicals Emphasizing Sustainability,Environmental Responsibility,and Walkable Communities

A select bibliography of publications focused on sustainability, walkability, and the overall philosophy of “being green” within the urban environment is presented. The publications include a mix of scholarly, trade, and popular titles. The same categories of information are present for each entry. This bibliography is the second in a series dedicated to examining the broad subject matter of urban studies within a more focused lens. The first bibliography, examining housing policy, was published in The Serials Librarian, 65(2).     

网络环境下书目信息资源共享的思考

基于EDC的书目元信息管理系统设计与实现

DublinCore(简称DC)是Internet上一种适用于普通电子文档元数据的规范 ,而文献信息领域的元数据规范为MARC标准。为了实现大量的MARC书目数据在Internet上的重用 ,本文对DC进行了扩展 ,在此基础上设计并实现了一个基于EDC(ExtendedDublinCore)的书目元信息管理系统 ,讨论了其中的关键技术 ,系统的成功运行证明了设计方案的可行性。     

Building a Bibliography

Collectors of children's books use Harry K. Hudson's bibliography of American boys' series books as a source list in expanding their personal collections. Scholars of popular culture use the bibliography as a tool in locating books that reflect everyday trends and mores of the general American public. The bibliography, now in its third edition, has undergone considerable change over the years; and this change reflects the evolution of a simple finding aid for personal collectors to a bibliography used for scholarly research.

中国近现代目录学是依缘西方学理而建立的,本质上就是“比较”的产物。作为比较的“方法”,与其说是一种行之有效的研究程序或模式,毋宁说是在讨论跨文化目录学比较中碰到的难题,主要包括术语差异问题和文化差异问题两个方面。始自上世纪初的中西目录学比较一开始就与价值立场有关,或“拿来”或拒斥,分别代表了特定时期中国学者对传统文化的不同态度。
