Lab for herbal medicine standardization to be established in Shanghai

With the support of the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Engineering Laboratory for Traditional Chinese Medicine is to be built at the CAS Institute of Meteria Medica (IMM) in Shanghai. The plaque presentation ceremony for this and nine other labs was held at the China Bio-industry Conference 2008 on 21 June in Changsha, capital of southern China’s Hunan Province.

《西藏植物志》亟待修订

《西藏植物志》的出版成为西藏地区植物资源研究、保护与可持续利用的最主要工具书。但由于当时客观条件的限制、西藏地域广阔野外考察时间仍显不足、编排时间紧促等原因以及随着后期考察研究的不断深入,发现存在植物收集不全、植物分布地域记载不全、科下分属或属下分种的一些检索表存在错误和遗漏、一些植物种类的特征描述不完整、植物海拔范围需补充、植物中文名前后不一致以及一些植物图谱不准确等问题,需要结合最新的文献和积累的资料及标本进行修订。

不连续创新、不确定性和现有企业生存

近十年来,随着新兴技术的迅速发展,尤其是新兴技术引起竞争格局和产业结构的大调整,现有企业和新兴企业均面临前所未有的不确定性。新兴技术创新的基本特征是不连续。因此,不连续创新(discon tinuous innovation)引起技术创新管管理研究学者的广泛兴趣。本文主要分析不连续创新的重要性以及不连续创新对现有企业的挑战,同时指出不连续创新的不确定性表现。
