Philosophical Research and Educational Action Research

I argue here, that, ultimately and in large part, the stakes of educational action research are conditioned by the various ways of conceiving theory, research and practice, and I attempt to explore and put forward one such way that I view as potentially more helpful than others. I begin with a comparative overview of the implicit philosophical assumptions that have informed or grounded educational action research in the broadly conceived Germanic and Anglo-American contexts. I then examine the tensions around theory and practice and the role such tensions play in educational action research. In my interpretation, the polemics surrounding this topic have significantly shaped the course educational action research has taken. Examining such polemics, then, might be useful in the effort to approach risks, prospects and visions and to develop the perspective of a recuperated, enhanced but modest philosophical intervention in educational action research.

全国教育科学规划立项课题职业教育与成人教育类3项课题通过鉴定
　　日前,全国教育科学规划领导小组办公室公布2013年7月全国教育科学规划立项课题鉴定情况。由曲阜师范大学杜以德主持的国家一般课题《我国成人高等教育办学机构转型与创新研究》,由温州大学杨彬主持的教育部重点课题《学习型组织构建与企业教育改革创新研究--基于温州地区企业教育改革的实证分析》通过鉴定;由浙江工贸职业技术学院贺星岳主持的教育部重点课题《高职教育项目课程实施研究》,因成果获浙江省人民政府教学成果二等奖而免于鉴定。     

Teacher Research,Action Research: the Logo Action Research Collaborative

Action research is a form of professional inquiry in which the teacher's role is seen as key to educational improvement. This paper describes methodologies developed by the Logo Action Research Collaborative – a national network linking 100 teachers at nine sites – that facilitate and support collaborative inquiry by teachers into their own teaching practices, in order to understand, improve, develop, and incorporate new forms of student assessment, teaching methods, and curriculum. The project focused on the Logo computer language, a powerful learning environment for problem‐solving and mathematical inquiry. The authors provide background information on action research as an evolving discipline. They identify three phases of a year‐long action research cycle, and describe key strategies developed by the project to support teachers in taking on a research frame of mind, identifying areas of concern, and undertaking and completing action research projects. The paper includes several illustrative examples of action research investigations undertaken by teachers, and demonstrates the benefits to the students and teachers involved. It closes by making a case for the potential contribution of action research to current educational reform initiatives and school restructuring.

在美国院校研究中,校友分为学位校友、非学位校友、朋友(或准校友)三个群体.美国校友研究最初将校友视作学校服务的“消费者”,而后随着社会的发展,开始将其视为学校的“供给者”.校友研究产生于20世纪30年代,新公共管理运动后进入快速发展阶段,由主要关注学校内部公众,转为更多关注外部公众.近年来校友研究的主要内容是校友产出、参与及能力发展、校友捐赠.校友研究主要应用于经费筹集,招生就业,提高学校声誉,为政策制定提供信息,改善与政府、市场和社会的关系等方面.

科研过程、科研能力以及科研训练的特征分析

科研和科研训练是研究生教育特别是博士教育阶段的重要功能．对其过程和特征进行分析对于推进研究生教育实践,提高研究生培养质量都具有积极的意义。科研过程由于其知识对象具有专业化、前沿性及综合性的特征,相应地也具有专业性、探索性、批判反思性的特征。科研能力可以大致分为认知能力或者说心智水平、实践操作技能和缄默知识三种类型。科研训练必须在实际的研究过程中训练,在具体的学术环境中潜移默化,同时科研训练的规训特征也要求训练程序的严格性和程序性。
