昂贵的高等教育费用,超越了农村家庭承受能力,教育支出戍为“不能承受之重”,大众化的高等教育接纳的是经济发达地区的大众化、城市的大众化,引发了教育机会不均等,可能导致“断裂的社会”,贫困将被“世袭”,不仅危及社会公平和效率,而且危及社会稳定。

Dancing in the ditches: reflecting on the capacity of a university/school partnership to clarify the role of a teacher educator

This paper used the data collected from reflective diaries, semi-structured interviews and surveys to identify and examine common themes identified in the roles required and/or perceived for teacher educators by both teachers and teacher educators. Collaboration, discussion and critique enabled personal reflection as teacher educators worked as partners to schools in a state-sponsored teaching and learning skills project. We have termed the collaboration in such an interactive project as one of ‘dancing in the ditches’, often requiring both groups to get out of their comfortable spaces and engage with each other in constantly moving situations. The teacher educators were required to be change agents at the interface of theory and practice and their experiences reflected individual journeys, but their reflections have ongoing implications for clarifying and professionalising the role of teacher educators.

The role of democracy in the university: The university and its old members

In this paper the question of just who constitutes the membership of the university is explored. The paper canvasses the obvious answers: the students, the faculty, or both; the various administrators and staff above a certain level or with special responsibilities; and finally those who have passed through and out of the university doors—its old members. If to be a member is to have rights and obligations, then what if any are the obligations of the old members? This turns out to be a complex question. The analysis in the paper suggests that old members should be a third concern in our time for the universities and the pursuance of such a concern may offer many genuinely democratic supports for the university. The practical problem of how to extend the university's embrance to include its old members remains.     

大学教育研究机构的主要任务是进行院校研究

以单个院校的实际问题为研究对象,以改进管理实践为目的,具有自我研究、咨询研究、行动研究为特征的院校研究,应该成为多数大学教育研究机构的主要任务。为此,要明确大学发展过程是一个创造过程;决策者和研究者都要转变观念、提高认识;通过制度设计,使院校研究活动“组织化”。     

Transformation of university governance: on the role of university board members

In this conceptual contribution to the study of university governance the authors will approach potential patterns of behavior of key decision-makers at central university level, i.e. roles of governance actors, as well as the set of factors that shape and constrain the governance actor’s room of manoevre and provide avenues to explain varying role enactments through an actor analysis of members of the newly introduced university boards. In a first part the introduction and empowerment of university boards in European higher education institutions is described as a building block of the transformation of university governance. In the second part the main hypothesis derived is that, in governance practice, board members enact roles which are not only shaped and constrained by formal institutions, as given by the organizational context and regulatory structure, but also by conformable, appropriate and legitimate role expectations of central role senders. As a showcase analysis, the roles of university board members are conceptually explored. Especially in the context of recent reform processes, board members who tend to have a varied status set, very often find themselves in a troubling situation of conflicting role expectations, leading to high levels of role conflicts and role ambiguity. It is the aim of this paper to sketch and examine the factors that contribute to the different roles university board members may take.     

The university of the future: Boyer revisited

The paper considers Boyer's declaration that the work of a university centres around four areas of scholarship: discovery, teaching, application and integration. The evolution of the modern university is analysed in terms of the struggle for dominance by each area of scholarship in turn, to meet the needs of the contemporary society. It identifies three major times of upheaval. At the birth of the Civic universities, the scholarship of discovery was added to that of teaching. With the plate glass expansion and the institution of the polytechnic sector, the need for application was acknowledged. As knowledge has expanded and new subject areas continue to form where disciplines connect and overlap, the discipline of integration has become increasingly relevant and, with the merging of the polytechnic and university systems, it could be argued that there has also emerged a need for a management system to support that integration.The paper concludes that Boyer's four areas of scholarship are still necessary, and remain core to the business of universities, but they are no longer sufficient for survival and development unless the scholarships are considered, not only at an institutional and national level, but also as part of a global learning system. The four scholarships will only be guaranteed if the unique role of the university itself is defined and defended.     

素质教育视角下的普通高校舞蹈教育定位

随着素质教育的深入展开,对当前高校舞蹈教育提出了更高的要求。在分析我国高校舞蹈教育起步晚的基础上,针对目前高校舞蹈教育教学中存在的诸多弊端,简要分析了高等舞蹈教育在高校的教育定位。同时认为,当今世界已经发展到文理渗透、多学科交叉的时代,相应地,高等教育也在向文理结合、技术与人文并重的方向发展。     

论舞蹈教学中情感心理学的运用

舞蹈教学是依靠心理因素与生理因素相结合,合理运用教师所掌握的知识,靠人体肢体配合的一种艺术实践活动。舞蹈教学活动是审美活动,也是情感活动。舞蹈可以创造出鲜明生动的舞蹈形象,表现出人们肯定美好、否定丑恶事物的情感、思想、意志和愿望。
