混合式学习已经成为高等教育中主流的教学模式,如何有效融合线上和课堂部分的小组协作学习,充分发挥协作学习促进认知和非认知发展的教育价值,已成为当前混合式教学中亟须解决的问题。本研究基于探究社区框架、协作知识建构等理论,构建了线上与线下相结合的混合式协作学习模型,并将理论模型应用于真实的课程环境中,从学习者在课程中的学习投入、协作学习能力、知识掌握水平3个方面探析其应用成效。结果表明,混合式协作学习能够显著提升课程学习成效:显著提升了学习者的学习投入;显著提升了学习者的协作学习能力;显著提升了学习者的知识掌握水平。  相似文献

混合式教学模式是线上学习与课堂教学的深度融合,是大学英语教学改革的重要方向之一。文章以大学英语教学实践为例,基于混合式教学理论和教学实践,构建了包含在线学习、课内应用和课外实践等三个核心构成部分的大学英语混合式教学模式,并设计了混合式教学模式下大学英语的实践共同体架构,探讨了实践共同体对有效实施大学英语混合式教学的作用。研究结果表明,大学英语实践共同体能够促使学生在协作学习中获取知识、在语言应用中建构知识、在语言实践中转化知识,对学生英语应用能力的培养产生了积极影响。  相似文献

混合式学习模式已经成为课程改革的热点之一。如何有效设计和便捷实施混合式学习,促进学习者有意义的深度学习是研究的关键。文章在互联网思维的指引下,基于探究社区模型和教学动态支架模型,构建可不断迭代优化的混合式学习模型,并基于对分课堂进行混合式学习模型实践。教学数据与问卷结果分析表明:该模型可以有效促进学习者知识技能、能力培养和情感价值观学习目标达成;对分课堂的教学活动组织形式非常适合混合式学习模式,尤其是混合式学习初期阶段;小组互助合作对学习者知识协同构建有极大帮助。同时,在混合式学习实施过程中需要注意构建更加符合学习者需求的动态教学支架,帮助其更快地适应混合式学习新模式。  相似文献

When the University of Glamorgan embarked upon an ambitious e‐learning development project, it quickly became clear that before teaching online, academic staff would need a training programme, which could introduce them to the pedagogy associated with this very different form of teaching and learning. This paper addresses the challenges for the staff development process when delivered in a blended learning environment. The paper is presented in three sections, the first outlines the development process of an e‐learning initiative, the second examines the model of teaching and learning, and the final section outlines the challenges to change encountered along the way. The paper concludes that a blended learning environment lends itself well to staff development for e‐learning initiatives. Recent advance in medical education is in correlation with the advances in information technology and thus computer-based learning is being increasingly employed. The objective of the present study was to design and evaluate an e-learning module in anatomy and assess the perceptions of students and faculty about this e-learning module. The participating students were randomized into three groups by block stratified randomization and Google groups were created for each of the three groups. The e-learning module was implemented in three sessions by rotating the three groups. Validated questionnaires were sent to faculty and participating students via Google forms to obtain feedback. The results of ANOVA showed that there was a significant difference among the groups in terms of marks obtained with conventional (F = 2.403, P = 0.103), online (F = 6.050, P = 0.005), and blended (F = 5.801, P = 0.006). Post hoc comparisons using the Tukey HSD test, about the gain of knowledge, indicated that the results were insignificant when comparing the conventional group with the online group, but were significant when comparing the blended group with the conventional and online group. The qualitative data regarding the perception of students toward e-learning were analyzed using thematic analysis. The introduction of an interactive e-learning module in anatomy was effective and well received by the students and faculty. The study showed that blended learning has a positive impact on the students' learning by improving cognitive gain and receptive perception for e-learning.  相似文献

This paper explores case study research of the group process for teachers as learners in an Online Learning Module delivered in a blended problem‐based learning (PBL) environment. Blended learning, as the name suggests, consists of a blend of at least two pedagogical approaches: within the context of this research, blended learning is the integration of the PBL face‐to‐face learning in a classroom with an e‐learning environment. The 10‐week module was part of an accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Third Level Learning and Teaching for academic staff (lecturers, librarians, learning technology support staff) from a range of higher education institutions in the Republic of Ireland. This Postgraduate Diploma attracts academic staff keen to experience and implement a variety of pedagogical approaches within their own teaching. Over the four years of the module’s existence, there have been a wide variety of subject disciplines in higher education represented. This paper shares experiences and lessons learnt from the case study, and provides a set of recommendations for other teachers pursuing this form of blended PBL with students.  相似文献

目前有关混合学习的理论及模式研究比较丰富,但普遍存在三个问题:一是把混合学习设定为几种具体的混合方式,二是把混合学习与混合教学混为一谈,三是在如何"混合"上缺乏操作原则和定位策略.针对这些问题,本文重新讨论了混合学习的定义;提出混合学习的混合不是随意的.而是基于一定的适配原则设计出来的,如适配学习者、适配学习内容、适配学习过程和适配学习情境;认为混合学习设计需要将多种学习要素进行有机混合,遵循两个定位策略,即树立结构化的定位思路和形成模式化的定位目标.  相似文献

Abstract

How can we best facilitate students most in need of learning support, entering a challenging quantitative methods module at the start of their bachelor programme? In this empirical study into blended learning and the role of assessment for and as learning, we investigate learning processes of students with different learning profiles. Specifically, we contrast learning episodes of two cluster analysis-based profiles, one profile more directed to deep learning and self-regulation, the other profile more directed toward stepwise learning and external regulation. In a programme based on problem-based learning, where students are supposedly being primarily self-directed, this first profile is regarded as being of an adaptive type, with the second profile less adaptive. Making use of a broad spectrum of learning and learner data, collected in the framework of a dispositional learning analytics application, we compare these profiles on learning dispositions, such as learning emotions, motivation and engagement, learning performance and trace variables collected from the digital learning environments. Outcomes suggest that the blended design of the module with the digital environments offering many opportunities for assessment of learning, for learning and as learning together with actionable learning feedback, is used more intensively by students of the less adaptive profile.  相似文献

A vast body of research has indicated the importance of distinguishing new vs. continuing students’ learning experiences in blended and online environments. Continuing learners may have developed learning and coping mechanisms for ‘surviving’ in such learning environments, while new learners might still need to adjust their learning approaches to the new learning context. In this large-scale replication study, we investigated whether and how the learning satisfaction experiences of 16,670 new vs. 99,976 continuing students were different. Using logistical regression modelling of learner satisfaction scores of 422 undergraduate blended and online modules (including 232 learner and module learning design variables), our findings indicated that new learners indeed differed subtly in their learning and teaching experiences across two consecutive academic years. The minor differences in key drivers between the 2014 and 2015 cohorts also indicate that institutions need to continuously monitor and act upon changing learning needs.  相似文献
