I am from Sri Lanka, a country as beautiful as China. For the calling of Wushu, I came to China and have been here for seven years. I love anything Chinese. When I was very young, I had naively thought Wushu was all about being invulnerable and flying. I had a dream that I was flying like a bird back to Sri Lanka after I finished my Wushu studies in China.  相似文献

When mentioned creating the acrobatic drama Swan Like, vice president of China Acrobats Association Ning Genfu had the following remarks"We are acrobatics people and we all know how difficult it is to create,to train,to organize and to package an acrobatic drama."So in this sense we could regard the acrobatic drama"Dunhuang Goddess"as a big success, because it was produced by Gansu Acrobatic Troupee from the northwest of China and which didn't have a fairly solid foundation in creating before. It was a big success, but this success came from enormous difficulties.  相似文献

<正>It is a pleasure to write a commentary on the work of Dr.Hannah Rice and colleagues,l who have advanced our understanding of how the mechanical loading environment of the tibia changes as a function of running grade and speed. It is important that we understand how the tibia is loaded during conditions that an individual is likely to encounter when running as it is these internal loads which we believe are responsible for the development of bone-stress injuries.2  相似文献

Purpose:The present study aimed to examine the link between physical activity(PA)and life satisfaction in a large international study of adolescents. We also aimed to test whether overweight and underweight perceptions act as mediators and whether age and sex acted as moderators. Methods:For this purpose,we analyzed data from the Health Behavior in School-aged Children study, which comprises 727,865 observations from 44 nations at 4 measurement occasions. Results:Multilevel analyses revealed a positive link between PA and life satisfaction. In addition, underweight and overweight perceptions mediated the effect of PA on life satisfaction. We further found that age and sex acted as moderators. In older adolescents, stronger effects were found in the links between PA and life satisfaction,PA and overweight perception, and both weight perceptions and life satisfaction. In addition,in female adolescents, the link between overweight perception and life satisfaction was stronger.Conversely, the links between PA and both weight perceptions were stronger for boys. Conclusion:The results suggest that weight perception explains part of the relationship between PA and life satisfaction in adolescents and that these effects vary as a function of age and sex.  相似文献

Purpose:The aim of the present study was to analyze the associations of youths' sedentary behavior(SB) with parents' and siblings' SB and physical activity(PA),as well as the associations of youths' coparticipation with parents, siblings, and friends in PA and SB with youths' SB.Methods:The sample consisted of 1543 youths(12.02±2.51 years;788 boys) enrolled in the baseline cohort of the UP&DOWN study.SB was assessed by accelerometry and questionnaire.Participants reported the time spent by their parents and siblings watching television, playing videogames, surfing the Internet,sitting/resting,and doing PA.Further, participants reported coparticipation with parents, siblings, and friends in these activities.Linear mixed models, including school and city as random effects, were performed. Results:Parents' television time was positively associated with youths' screen-based SB.Coparticipation with friends in playing videogames(in boys) and in surfing the Internet(in girls) showed a positive association with screen-based SB and a negative association with educational-based SB.Moreover, coparticipation with siblings and friends in PA was inversely associated with accelerometer-based SB in boys and girls. Conclusion:Our results emphasize the important role of social modeling in the development of sedentary lifestyles in youths.Interventions aimed at reducing health risk behaviors in youths could be more effective if they are oriented from a social perspective that involves their families and networks of their closest friends.  相似文献

I feel unspeakably injured. I've lost a dear and exceptional friend and an important part of my life. Many people have called our competition the greatest rivalry in the history of sports. Wilt was the greatest offensive player I have ever seen, his play forced me to play at my highest level. If I didn't, our team would likely lose.——BILL RUSSELL  相似文献

Background:Exercise is considered as an important intervention for treatment and prevention of several diseases, such as osteoarthritis, obesity, hypertension, and Alzheimer's disease. This review summarizes decadal exercise intervention studies with various rat models across 6 major systems to provide a better understanding of the mechanisms behind the effects that exercise brought. Methods:PubMed was utilized as the data source. To collect research articles,we used the following terms to create the search:(exercise[Title]OR physical activity[Title]OR training[Title])AND(rats[Title/Abstract]OR rat[Title/Abstract]OR rattus[Title/Abstract]).To best cover targeted studies, publication dates were limited to"within 11 years."The exercise intervention methods used for different diseases were sorted according to the mode, frequency, and intensity of exercise. Results:The collected articles were categorized into studies related to 6 systems or disease types:motor system(17 articles),metabolic system(110 articles),cardiocerebral vascular system(171 articles),nervous system(71 articles),urinary system(2 articles),and cancer(21 articles). Our review found that, for different diseases, exercise intervention mostly had a positive effect. However, the most powerful effect was achieved by using a specific mode of exercise that addressed the characteristics of the disease. Conclusion:As a model animal, rats not only provide a convenient resource for studying human diseases but also provide the possibility for exploring the molecular mechanisms of exercise intervention on diseases. This review also aims to provide exercise intervention frameworks and optimal exercise dose recommendations for further human exercise intervention research.  相似文献

Background:The ankle and foot together contribute to over half of the positive and negative work performed by the lower limbs during running.Yet,little is known about how foot kinetics change throughout a run.The amount of negative foot work may decrease as tibialis anterior(TA)electromyography(EMG) changes throughout longer-duration runs. Therefore,we examined ankle and foot work as well as TA EMG changes throughout a changing-speed run. Methods:Fourteen heel-striking subjects ran on a treadmill ...  相似文献

Relaxed after SydneyQ: It is the 1st time since 1995 that you have to play in the qualification matches of the national team in order to take part in the World Championships. How do you think of that?A: I think this is normal as the national team is setting up a more competitive internal system which will encourage the upcoming players. In the warm-up matches held in Huiyang and Shengzhou, 3 out of the 5 key players qualified for Paris. Two winners from 2 rounds of inter-team competitions will also qualify and the last 2 players will be selected by the coaches. I feel quite comfortable as it is equal  相似文献

On Aug. 3, as the evening sky darkened to match the deep blue roof tiles of the landmark Hall of Prayers for Good Harvests, kung-fu movie star Jackie Chan and Chinese women's table tennis champion Deng Yaping carried an ornate golden box to the white steps outside the hall.Chinese parliament chief Wu Bangguo and IOC Coordination Commission chairman Hein Verbruggen removed a jade seal and stamped the emblem in red ink on piece of paper. The unveiling of the official emblem for the 2008 Olympic Games was put on in the presence of 2,008 ViPs and to an audience of 400 million TV viewers at a spectacular show that was broadcast live. The Beijing Games organizers say the emblem had passed six stages of design and modification to be what it is.  相似文献

The Olympic flag has a plain white background with no border. In the centre are five rings forming two rows of three rings above and two below. The rings of the upper row are, from left to right, blue, black and red. The rings of the lower row are yellow and green. The rings are thought to symbolise the five continents; Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America. It is widely believed that the colours of the rings were chosen because at least one of them can be found in the flag of every nation, though this has never been confirmed as the intention of the designer. The flag was presented by Games founder Baron de Coubertin at the 1914 Olympic Congress, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of the IOC. It was first flown in Alexandria, Greece, but made its Olympic debut at the 1920 Antwerp Games. This well-worn flag was finally retired after the 1984 Games, and a new one flown at the 1988 Seoul Games.  相似文献
