培养高校学生党员对中国共产党的归属感具有十分重要的意义。目前多数大学生党员有强烈的归属感,也有少部分学生党员归属感迷失,表现为对党的距离感、生疏感和游离感的产生,荣誉感、责任感、使命感、认同感的淡化和党员角色意识的弱化。要建构当代大学生党员归属感,可从加强高校党的基层组织建设、突出和强化学生党员的“角色意识”、加强对党员的使命感教育和增进对党的感情等方面入手进行培养。  相似文献

A number of studies have identified correlations between children’s stereotypes of scientists, their science identities, and interest or persistence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Yet relatively few studies have examined scientist stereotypes among college students, and the literature regarding these issues in predominantly nonwhite and 2-yr college settings is especially sparse. We piloted an easy-to-analyze qualitative survey of scientist stereotypes in a biology class at a diverse, 2-yr, Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander–Serving Institution. We examined the reliability and validity of the survey, and characterized students’ comments with reference to previous research on stereotypes. Positive scientist stereotypes were relatively common in our sample, and negative stereotypes were rare. Negative stereotypes appeared to be concentrated within certain demographic groups. We found that students identifying nonstereotypical images of scientists at the start of class had higher rates of success in the course than their counterparts. Finally, evidence suggested many students lacked knowledge of actual scientists, such that they had few real-world reference points to inform their stereotypes of scientists. This study augments the scant literature regarding scientist stereotypes in diverse college settings and provides insights for future efforts to address stereotype threat and science identity.  相似文献

We examined two aspects of college students' (N = 385) sense of belonging and its relations with three indicators of self-regulated learning. We also tested the mediating role of achievement goals in these relations. One aspect, sense of belonging to school, functioned as a significant predictor of self-reported metacognitive and academic time management strategies. In comparison, a second aspect, sense of belonging to peer groups, was a significant predictor of self-reported peer learning strategies. Findings from the mediation analyses indicated that sense of belonging to school was related with mastery goals, whereas sense of belonging to peer groups was related with performance goals. Further, mastery goals mediated the relations between sense of belonging to school and metacognitive and academic time management strategies.  相似文献

This study examined the stress‐buffering role of social support on indicators of psychosocial functioning among a combined and split sample of ethnically diverse college students. Although high social support significantly moderated 2 relationships in the combined sample, high and low levels of social support significantly reduced the effect of stress on depressive symptoms of students of color. For White students, high social support moderated the effect of stress on protective behaviors. Implications for college counselors are discussed.  相似文献

The improvement is because “students encounter learning as a shared experience rather than isolated experience,” and that learning communities “emphasizing collaborative learning have a positive impact on student attitudes toward learning” (Tinto, 1997b, cited in “Basic skills as a foundation for student success in California community colleges,” 2007 Basic skills as a foundation for student success in California community colleges . The problem under investigation in this study was whether learning communities were effective in improving student success in community college developmental English courses, and whether there were differences in learning community outcomes among gender and racial/ethnic groups. Student success was defined, for the purpose of this study, as successful course completion. This study of the impact of a learning community on success in developmental English in an urban community college demonstrated that learning communities are effective in assisting students to succeed in higher level developmental English courses. 为了探究大学生归属感对自主学习的影响作用机制,采用自主学习量表、成就目标量表、专业归属感问卷、同伴归属问卷对767名大学生进行测试。结果显示:专业归属感与自主学习呈显著正相关,能正向预测掌握趋近目标与成绩趋近目标定向,可负向预测掌握回避目标、成绩回避目标定向;同伴归属能显著预测成绩趋近目标、成绩回避性目标定向;掌握趋近、掌握回避、成绩趋近目标定向在专业归属与自主学习中起中介作用,且同伴归属在专业归属与掌握趋近目标间起调节作用。  相似文献

This study investigated student-student and teacher-student interaction in a problem-based course and looked at study success in relation to group dynamics and approaches to studying. Data for this study were provided by 31 law students who were enrolled in a course in legal history at the University of Helsinki in February 2001. The students were divided into three small groups that were tutored by one teacher. Both the students and the teacher were interviewed. The interaction between the students and their teacher, and the group dynamics of each subgroup, were observed during the tutor sessions. The results showed that the student groups were very different from each other in terms of study success, group dynamics and communication between the group members. One group achieved significantly higher grades than the other two groups. There was only one clear difference between the three groups. The interviews and observations showed that the students in the best group participated more evenly and actively in the discussions than students in the other two groups.  相似文献

Peer interaction, social status, and reciprocated friendships were examined in 2 ethnically diverse groups of children: 104 kindergartners and 106 third graders. There was no correlation between social status and ethnicity. Third-grade children formed more cross-ethnic friendships and engaged in more cross-ethnic positive peer interaction than kindergartners. Children with more cross-ethnic friendships and more cross-ethnic peer interaction were no different in social status than children with fewer cross-ethnic experiences.  相似文献

This article draws on quantitative and qualitative data from two institutions to compare the student experience of those with and without bursary awards. Using the student life cycle model, the article examines the ways in which bursaries impact on the student experience before they enter the institution, in the early weeks of their studies and as they progress through their programmes. At these two institutions, students with bursaries were more likely to be retained and to perform well during the first year than those without bursaries. The study found that bursaries can ease financial pressures during their transition to higher education (HE) and that institution‐specific bursaries can affect students’ perceptions of an institution and their commitment to succeed. After 2006, those institutions wishing to charge variable fees will be required to provide bursary support for low‐income students. The findings from this article suggest that HE providers should consider the timing of the bursary payments and the implicit message the bursary sends to applicants if they want to ensure that their bursaries have a positive impact on the student experience.  相似文献

本文的研究目的是深入解析教学交互层次塔中信息交互的规律.研究方法主要采取调查研究和案例研究两种方法.研究过程包括三个步骤:首先,利用访谈和问卷等方法,调查目前我国远程教育中学生与不同对象之间开展的各种信息交互活动的形式和内容;第二步,在分析信息交互活动的基础上,提出教学交互距离的概念和学生信息交互网络的建立方法;第三步,以北京师范大学网络教育学院为例,总结学生信息交互的主要活动,比较各种交互对象与学生之间的教学交互距离,建立北京师范大学网络教育学院学生信息交互网络图.研究结果提出了教学交互距离的概念和学生信息交互网络的建立方法,并通过案例研究说明了学生信息交互网络在比较各种交互对象对学生学习帮助程度方面的有效性和重要价值.作者希望,本文的研究结论可以为远程教育机构提供比较分析各种交互对象对学生学习进步促进作用的有效方法,同时也希望能够帮助读者深入了解信息交互的规律.  相似文献

In the past twenty years, many good ways of learning English have been put forward. In this paper, the author comes up with a new approacha good grasp of sentence sense groups which he thinks is very helpful in improving the student English in many aspects.
