悲剧精神是人们面对不可避免的生命苦难与毁灭时所表现出来的崇高的精神状态。中国古典悲剧通过苦难的展示，给人一种积极向上的精神力量。从悲剧的内涵入手，可以观照中国古典叙事文学，尤其是远古神话及元杂剧，挖掘其中的悲剧精神，这对我们重新认识中国古典悲剧的审美价值有十分重要的意义。     

"韵":生命之舞动

作为中国古典文艺美学的一个重要范畴，“韵”最主要的特征是一种富含音乐精神的生命舞动。虽然“气”的生命论哲学涵义赋予“韵”以形而上的意义，但这一范畴的形成，离不开具体的美学实践。在中国古代各门艺术的发展中，“韵”的生命特质得以突显，并成为中国古代艺术精神之所在。
