上梁仪式是侗族传统民居建造过程中最具代表性的仪式活动,也是侗族传统仪式文化中典型的仪式活动之一。从梁树选择到赠与答谢礼,上梁仪式一共包括七个细分仪式程序。整个上梁过程的繁复仪式展演和严格程序规则,呈现了侗族传统文化的一种综合性外在表征,也是理解侗族文化逻辑和象征表达的一个重要切入点,具有文化理性和实践理性的双重功能。     

空间·实践·表征:侗族传统民居的象征人类学阐释

针对现有关于侗族传统民居的研究缺乏整体提炼的缺憾,借鉴社会空间理论和实践理论等观点,从象征人类学的视角,系统阐释侗族传统民居的象征内涵。研究发现,侗族传统民居很好地吻合了列斐伏尔的空间演进脉络,是实践基础上的一个表征空间。在侗族传统民居空间意义的形成上,仪式实践扮演着关键的角色。此外,亲属实践、符号实践和秩序实践也有着积极的贡献。综合而言,民居表征的意义最终指向侗族传统文化中自然观、空间观、时间观等多维观念意象,并藉由与民居建造和使用上的宗教—巫术仪式的结合,共同构成了侗族的整体幸福观念表达图式。     

侗族传统民居形制的建筑人类学研究

建筑是表征民族文化特征的主要载体之一,作为建筑的一个侧面,民居形制也蕴含这样的功能。运用建筑人类学的方法分析发现,虽然侗族传统民居的两种主要形制——独立式和联排式在整体功能、民居文化内涵等方面有相似之处,可是二者在空间分层、平面功能分区和使用禁忌等方面也存在明显差异,二者由相似到差异的分化过程表征着侗族社会文化上的变化趋势,民居形制的文化功能一直贯彻其中。

空间观念是文化的产物,特定范围内的细分空间体现着文化的规定性与特殊性。侗族传统民居的空间构成是侗族传统文化中空间观念的传递媒介,并在民居内的水平和垂直细分空间上都有体现。水平空间内,侗族传统民居传递的是神圣中心与四方尊卑的观念,占据着水平空间内最重要的位置,而围绕它的四个方位之中,左比右尊、北比南卑。垂直空间上,民居的上、中、下三层分别对应了神、人、鬼三界,而且在地位优势上也呈现对应的递减关系。
