"主体间性"视野下的文学名著新解读

一、"主体间性"的内涵性探讨 在以往的文学阅读中,读者往往把文学文本当作一个纯粹的审美客体来进行阅读,采用的是"主体一客体"的二元对立模式.这是一种主体性美学,主体性美学是启蒙时代的美学,不可避免具有特定的历史局限和理论缺陷.首先,建立在主客对立基础上片面的主体性导致人与自然、人与社会的冲突.     

论左翼作家的"群体"情结

左翼作家的"群体情结",是左翼文学政治化倾向体现之一,由左翼文学的亚政治文化特性和当时的历史环境所决定,是文学成员自觉追求的结果,应该予以历史地理解.作家在转移过程中历经抉择痛苦,艺术个性消融、观念转化程度因人而异.个体向群体转移,一定程度限制作家对艺术本质的追求和主体艺术个性的充分发挥,但在推进文学的平民化、大众化方面具有相当功绩.

对于文学的本质问题学术界争论已久,其中审美意识形态论被认为是影响最大、认同程度最高的文学本质论.本文结合多方学者的正反两方面观点,肯定文学是一种审美意识形态.意识形态性是文学不可摆脱的一个基本属性,在特殊性的层面上以"审美的"来规定文学艺术的这种"意识形态"特性,揭示了文学的客体、主体和功能方面的特征.

中国文学批评中的"象

在属性上,文学思潮具有"史学"性质,而创作方法无疑更侧重于"理论"范畴 .前者可归入"艺术史学",后者则属于"艺术哲学".就思潮而言,无论状态描述,还是 "思潮史"的梳理,主体之于对象的关系始终是一种"历史关系".对"创作方法"的辩析 ,是文学研究中对流派、作家、作品进行研究的常规手段.文学思潮是在"文学活动"的" 历史性"和"心理性"的交叉地带扎下自己生命根须的."文学活动"的"历史性"(即语境)从根本上制约着社会审美心理趋进、变化的可能性空间,"文学活动"的"心理性"在见证社会历史的同时,也以自己的方式给予了永恒的记录.创作方法的观念与规则,只有在我们面对具体的艺术成果时才会鲜明化.创作方法归根到底只是有关作品结构与风格状态区分时的存在.创作方法观念的体系性,即生成、变化、更迭等,依托自身就可以完全被说明 .社会活动的变化并不是可以直接越过主体而在创作方法上表现出来.文学思潮的群体性质 ,使其在生成、传播过程中始终保持着对参予艺术活动个体的强大规范力量.创作方法对于文学活动主体的影响作用,无法以先置或普通覆盖的方式完成.

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
