Edmund Husserl’s first important move about phenomenology is the“phenomenological reduction”which means that we should reduce the external world to the contents of our consciousness alone. However, Hans-Georg Gadamer holds the opinion that all interpretation of a past work consists in a dialogue between past and present(Eagleton, T. 2009:62). Gadamer’s famous theory is fusion of horizons which means that the event of understanding comes about when our own“horizon”of historical meanings and assumptions“fuses”with the“horizon”within which the work itself is placed. The present thesis takes Hawthorne’s YoungGoodmanBrown as an example to illustrate different understandings when readers apply the two different theories.

In the reading process and after reading of the scientific and technological English literature for postgraduates of engineering, there are several barriers like the understanding of the vocabulary, the analyzing the complex sentences and the grasping the whole texts. This paper tries to investigate the using condition of interactive reading strategy in reading scientific and technological English literature of postgraduates of engineering. The study reveals that postgraduates of engineering frequently using some of strategies of the interactive reading strategy, but the overall using condition is only in the average level, and is not so flexible.

Complex Dynamics Caused by Torus Bifurcation in Power Systems

Torus bifurcation is a relatively complicated bifurcation caused by a pair of complex conjugate Floquet multipliers coming out of unit circle on the Poincare section. A three-bus system is employed to reveal the relationship between torus bifurcation and some complex dynamics. Based on theoretical analysis and simulation studies, it is found that torus bifurcation is a typical route to chaos in power system. Some complex dynamics usually occur after a torus bifurcation, such as self-organization, deep bifurcations, exquisite structure, coexistence of chaos and divergence. It is also found that chaos has close relationship with various instability scenarios of power systems. Studies of this paper are helpful to understand the mechanism of torus bifurcation in power system and relationship of chaos and power system instabilities.

However, they do not attach enough importance to spiritual richness. As a result, the whole human society is facing a serious spiritual crisis in modern times. Thoreau’s and Zhuangzi’s outlooks on life can lead people to go through various difficulties of life and guard the pure land of the heart.

In this paper,by using both the linear stability analysis and Lyapunov function approach,some conditions for stabilizing synchronization behavior in a discrete-time complex dynamical network were derived.These conditions were determined by the coupling strength and the eigenvalues of coupling configuration matrix.Furthermore,some explicit results were obtained when the coupling map between the nodes is equal to the dynamics function of the network,which implies that the product of the coupling strength and the eigenvalues is bounded.     

On Creativity of Business Correspondence Translators

It will not always reach the purpose of efficient communication when a translator is just translating business correspondence word by word.In order to reach such purpose,he/she should develop the creativity that is one of the presences of the subjectivity of a translator during his/her translation process.This paper will discuss how to develop the creativity in translating business correspondence based on the Skopos Theory originated from Germany and by illustrating some examples to show the details.Those principles of exactness,faithfulness and consistence are the spirit to translate business correspondence when a translator is developing the creativity.
