美国高校信息素养标准的改进与启示——ACRL《高等教育信息素养框架》解读

[目的/意义] 《高等教育信息素养框架》是美国大学与研究图书馆协会(ACRL)2015年最新颁布的信息素养指导文件,通过对其内容的详细解读,可以了解美国高等教育信息素养标准的发展动态,为新时期我国信息素养教育理论与实践提供参考。[方法/过程] 分析《高等教育信息素养框架》的具体内容,建立框架结构模型,并与2000年版《高等教育信息素养能力标准》进行对比,剖析其显著特征与改进之处,思考高校信息素养教育的变革方向。[结果/结论] 认为《框架》拓展了信息素养的内涵与外延,重新界定了信息素养教育的核心内容,并强调元认知培养的重要性,指导新信息环境下高等教育信息素养教育向融入学术、注重能力、促进学术交流的方向发展。

This study compares business librarians' information literacy practices and perceptions in response to the publication of the Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education and Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. Business librarians from AACSB-accredited institutions were surveyed in 2003 following the publication of the Standards and in 2015 following the publication of the Framework. This article discusses changes in business information literacy practice, including the use of professional guidelines, collaboration, and assessment activities over 12 years.     

面向学生成功的大学生信息素养评估实证研究

[目的/意义]探索如何在《高等教育信息素养框架》的指导下,开展面向学生成功的大学生信息素养评估工作。[方法/过程]通过嵌入创新项目的信息素养课程开展实证研究,从信息素养思维观念和实践能力两个层面分3个角度在时间维度和质量维度上进行评估,采集创新项目过程信息素养思维观念变化、实践能力评估及创新项目过程后个人信息素养实践能力评估数据。[结果/结论]研究显示嵌入创新项目的信息素养评估起到了两方面作用：一是通过评估促进学生信息素养思维观念转变和实践能力提升,培养元认知能力;二是评估能有效分析面向学生成功的信息素养教育成效,展示图书馆对学生成功的贡献度。     

Flipping the Business Information Literacy Classroom: Redesign,Implementation, and Assessment of a Case Study

A team of librarians at Purdue University transformed a business information literacy course from a traditional lecture, 40-student class into multiple sections of a flipped, 70-student classroom to meet the request that the successful course be required for all 500 undergraduate students. Scaling up required the adoption of flipped learning techniques for better utilization of library teaching resources. This case study provides key insights for others implementing credit classes or integrating similar content into one-shots or embedded work. It also describes the assessed results determined through student feedback (focus groups) and student performance (pre/post-tests).     

美国图书馆元素养培养模式创新——以新生馆员职位为视角

[目的/意义] 以现有研究成果为基础,从"新生"馆员具体工作入手,探讨国外元素养教育问题。[方法/过程] 通过内容分析法、案例分析法,对国外图书馆"新生"馆员招聘广告进行分析,对国外元素养教育所起到的作用进行剖析,探究国外元素养课程教育模式。[结果/结论] 认为必须糅合元素养,加强个性化、深入化、全面化、可循环化元素养教育建设,将信息素养"植入"学生脑海中,将元素养模式贯穿于日常学习生活中,逐步提高全民元素养能力。     

Put your instruction to the test: Half a dozen question types for evaluating students

There are different types of questions that can be used to determine whether students learned what they were taught in an information literacy (IL) session. This article summarizes best practices from the education literature for constructing short-answer, alternative-response, matching, multiple-choice, interpretative, and essay questions, as well as includes question examples from the author’s own experience delivering IL instruction.     

高校图书馆信息资源利用与大学生素质教育

文章重点论述了高校图书馆信息资源利用在大学生素质教育中所发挥的巨大作用。结合北京林业大学在此方面所开展的实践工作,从思想政治素质、信息素养、人文素质、心理素质等四个方面进行了阐述,以期引导大学生正确利用高校图书馆资源,达到培养大学生健康成长成才的目的。     

关于大学生信息素质培养问题的研究

通过对当前我国在校大学生信息素质状况的调查和统计,分析了大学生信息素质的现状和内在原因。同时,提出了为更好地培养大学生信息素质,高校图书馆应采取的方针和对策。

[目的/意义]理解ACRL《高等教育信息素养框架》（简称《框架》）中阈概念之间蕴含的逻辑关系以及教育层次，是构建大学信息素养教育生态系统的前提与基础。[方法/过程]将《框架》中信息素养的逻辑架构做立体层次性分析，以此为基础对信息素养的教育架构进行说明，并结合香港城市大学图书馆开展的"灯塔历史文化研究"项目案例，阐释大学信息素养教育生态系统构建的方法与过程。[结果/结论]信息素养教育生态系统的构建是以培养学生判断力、分析力、研究力为核心，包含通识教育、技能教育、拓展教育，以及多方人员和组织共同参与合作的完整教育过程，是培养学生信息素养可靠稳定的教育体系。

The traditional liberal arts are the key to a good general education, but they need to be revised and updated to include the six skills of information access. These have become important enough to be considered the eighth liberal art.     

新文科背景下图情档专业教育的循证改革实践

[目的/意义]新文科背景下图情档专业教育改革重点是专业的内涵建设与创新,循证实践可以为落实抽象的新文科建设内容提供路径。[方法/过程]本文在分析循证实践等概念内涵基础上,结合图情档界已有的研究与实践进展,提出应通过对人才培养过程与成效调研数据的反思、对业务项目案例的实证归纳等,形成一种基于证据的图情档专业教育循证改革实践逻辑。[结论/结果]文章认为基于证据采集、分析、确认和评价,通过证据与价值的平衡,实现证据运用与实践过程开启是图情档专业教育循证改革实践的基本逻辑,其主要实现途径是积累教育数据并建立可信证据、突出专业课程改革和将案例型证据导入教育过程。

协同教学能够集中团队成员的智慧,在西方日渐盛行.馆员-教师协同教学模式是实施信息素养教育的有效方式,和文献检索课程、在线信息素养教育交相辉映.文章探讨了馆员-教师协同教学模式的运行方式、馆员和教师的角色划分,分析了该模式面临的问题.     

Librarians collaborate successfully with nursing faculty and a writing centre to support nursing students doing professional doctorates

This study explores how a three‐way collaboration between a University library, writing centre and faculty created avenues of training and support for students within a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in an American University. The role of each partner involved in the collaboration is discussed alongside the profile of the DNP students. Lesson planning and classroom techniques for DNP information literacy classes are described and feedback from the partners and the students are discussed. The study confirms that collaboration is effective in improving research and writing skills. D.I.     

Enhancing Library Instruction to Undergraduates: Incorporating Online Tutorials into the Curriculum

ABSTRACT

Librarians can replace or supplement traditional in-class instruction with course-specific online tutorials. The literature demonstrates how tutorials customized for specific courses are more beneficial than tutorials on basic research skills. Many authors discuss creating online tutorials but do not design one devoted to a specific course. With increasing demand for instruction services, online tutorials can ease staffing concerns prevalent at many libraries and otherwise enhance the quality of instruction and its application to varied learning styles. Using the Blackboard course management system, the authors created an online tutorial tailored to the required World Civilizations course at the University at Buffalo. The tutorial incorporated elements of successful online tutorials described in the literature: clear terminology, a quiz for self-assessment, opportunities for active learning, and individual e-mail feedback between students and librarians, and applied them to a specific course. The authors discuss student and librarian reaction to the tutorial and make recommendations for how the tutorial can be improved and implemented in everyday instruction services.     

The Application of Reliability and Validity Measures to Assess the Effectiveness of an Undergraduate Citation Rubric

The increasing popularity of rubrics to assess student learning outcomes in the information literacy classroom is evident within library and information science literature. However, there is a lack of research detailing scientific evaluation of these assessment instruments to determine their reliability and validity. The goal of this study was to use two common measurement methods to determine the content validity and internal consistency reliability of a citation rubric developed by the researcher. Results showed the rubric needed modification in order to improve reliability and validity. Changes were made and the updated rubric will be used in the classroom in a future semester.

[目的/意义]在迅速变化的信息技术与教育环境中,如何因时而变、因馆而宜、不断创新,开展适合高校发展的信息素养教育实践,是每个高校图书馆面临的挑战和机遇。全面剖析典型图书馆的实践和思路,有利于其他图书馆借鉴或反思。[方法/过程]系统梳理新环境下清华大学图书馆信息素养教育实践的创新举措,包括4个方面：顺应教育信息化的发展趋势,运用新技术改革教育模式;立足高校发展定位与需求,融入学校学术生态;研究信息素养教育新理念,加强科学规划与实施;契合用户群体需求特征,利用新媒体提升传播效果。[结果/结论]清华实践经验可以概括为：以新理念为指导,积极利用新技术、新媒体开拓信息素养教育的创新实践,全方位嵌入学校人才培养流程,有效融入学校学术生态,力争紧跟大学教学科研、人才培养的步伐,与新时代大学生的需求同步,但各馆的具体实施路径应因校而宜、因馆而宜。     

Assessing Academic Library Services to Distance Learners: A Literature Review of Perspectives from Librarians,Students, and Faculty

Many academic libraries are expanding services to online and distance students to keep pace with enrollment trends in higher education, prompting additional research to evaluate the use and effectiveness of library reference and instruction services to distance users. This literature review explores this research from the perspectives of academic librarians, distance students, and faculty teaching online and distance courses, and finds both commonalities and contradictions among these viewpoints.
