The usefulness of a baseline record is often compromised by extraneous events in the natural environment that artificially intervene to prevent the performance of a specific target behavior. To attenuate this problem, a simple ratio adjustment procedure was suggested that compares the observed response frequency with a maximum possible frequency for each observation period. This ratio is then transformed into a response percentage with a more general predictive value for the behavior modification practitioner.  相似文献

We present a semi-custom design methodology based on transistor tuning to optimize the design performance Compared with other transistor tuning approaches, our tuning process takes the cross-talk effect into account and prominently reduces the complexity for circuit simulation and analysis by decomposing the circuit network utilizing graph theory. Furthermore, the incremental placement and routing for the corresponding transistor tuning in conventional approaches is not required in our methodology, which might induce timing graph variation and additional iterations for design convergence. This methodology combines the flexible automated circuit tuning and physical design tools to provide more opportunities for design optimization throughout the design cycle.  相似文献

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of the “I Found a Solution” computer‐assisted social skills intervention program on students with mild mental retardation. Teachers randomly divided students from two Israeli special schools (58 males, 29 females; aged 10.6 to 17.11 years) into an experimental and a control group. Teachers trained the experimental group using a social skills package including computerized social conflict scenarios and adventure games, group discussions, and homework tasks. Within the same time frame, teachers trained the control group to use various academic computer software programs. Following the intervention process, the research team collected information on students' self‐reported social skills and teachers' ratings of the students' adaptive classroom behavior. The experimental group performed significantly better than controls on posttest criteria. Teachers rated trained students as demonstrating better task orientation and less aggression and behavior difficulties. On subjective self‐reports, trained students reported more cooperation and assertion than the control group, but self‐control and empathy measures did not differentiate between groups. The use of a naturalistic mini‐environment for experimenting and rehearsing effective social strategies appears promising but requires further exploration.  相似文献

Summary Following a brief statement on the background of severe disability, the vocational implications for people thus affected were discussed. Maslow's hierarchy of need theory was used as a basis for exploring the special needs of the severely disabled. In each of the needs in the hierarchy: physiological, safety, belongingness, esteem and self-actualization, an effort was made to relate these basic needs to five major vocational implications and to offer suggestions for rehabilitation staff on ways of assisting clients in moving towards freedom and independence in work adjustment and eventually in satisfactory employment.  相似文献

The provision of lifelong learning facilities is considered to be a major new direction for higher and distance teaching educational institutes catering for the demands of industry and society. ICT networks will in future support seamless, ubiquitous access to lifelong learning facilities at home, at work, in schools and universities. This implies the development of new ways of organizing learning delivery that goes beyond course and programme-centric models. It envisions a learner-centred, learner-controlled model of distributed lifelong learning. We present a conceptual model for the support of lifelong learning which is based on notions from self-organization theory, learning communities, agent technologies and learning technology specifications such as IMS Learning Design. An exploratory implementation has been developed and used in practice. We reflect on the findings and future directions.  相似文献

Although there are numerous models to practive instructional design (ID), few instructional models to teach instructional design have been documented. This article documents a five-year study of two instructors who collaborated on formally studying their teaching of a master's level instructional design course. A reflexive instructional approach was used, in which the teachers examined their teaching while students were being prompted to reflect on their learning of instructional design through a course-long ID project. In this article we summarize our views on learning, teaching, and instructional design. A design and development framework from developmental research (Richey & Nelson, 1996) was used to describe our teaching in terms of the design decisions, model implementation, and model evaluation across six deliveries of the ID course from 1994–1998.  相似文献

针对华中科技大学自由电子激光(free electron laser,FEL)太赫兹源直线加速器束流调节环节存在的开环控制、运行卡顿、数据传输困难、处理滞后等问题,分析了微波功率源谐振频率与加速管腔体温度对束流能散度的影响,以此为理论基础设计了束流能散度自动调节系统。该系统以Labview程序为软件开发平台,包括用户层、数据交互层与物理层3层结构,采用分布式控制方案,分为调束与运行监控2个子系统,子系统间通过实验物理与工业控制系统通讯。该系统界面友好、操作流畅、响应迅速、功能稳定,在高重复频率下使能散度快速达到最佳状态。  相似文献

A bioprocess engineer should have at least a set of basic design skills. Bioprocess design is a complex cognitive skill, which should be trained in every year of an academic Bioprocess-Engineering curriculum. However, there is little existing learning material to support the initial training of design skills early in the curriculum. For this reason a web-based DownStream Process Design environment has been developed, called DSPD. This article describes the design criteria for the development of this design environment. It describes the design environment itself and it gives an impression of the use of the design environment in a course for first-year students.  相似文献

This article develops a theoretical framework for studying how instructional space, teaching and learning are related in practice. It is argued that a school’s physical design can contribute to the quality of the learning environment, but several non-architectural factors also determine how well a given facility serves as a setting for teaching and learning. Supporting evidence for this argument is drawn from research on school climate and organisation, as well as from the author’s study of three open-plan high schools. Facilities design, educational practice, school culture, and student learning are found to be interrelated aspects of a school’s total learning environment.  相似文献
