名词确指性有三种定义标准。一是依据形式特征的句法确指；一是依据所指唯一性的语义确指；一是依据信息已知性的语用确指。该认为语义确指和语用确指都不能全面解释名词的确指性，句法特征应是唯一的判断标准。     

复指表达式的辨正

本文所谓复指表达式包括语法概念复指短语和复指成分两部分。长期以来，语法学界对其内涵存在着激烈的争论，自然对其外延也缺少统一的界定。我们给定的涵义包括：第一、由两个或几个相连或不相连的语词(我们称之为复指项，在前的为复指前项，在后的为复指后项)构成；第二、复指项从不同的侧面指谓相同的对象；第三、相连的复指共同充当一个句子成分，不相连的复指分别充当不同的句子成分。对“第三”的正确理解是，复指表达式只能在单句的层面上呈现，一旦进入了复句领域，那就不是复指表达式了。
