为保障一流学科建设,在设备全生命周期管理体系中加入支持学科层级管理的业务与流程,包括虚拟实验平台、学科资源分析决策的设计,设备建账、设备查询、设备共享等现有业务与流程的改进。虚拟实验平台业务与流程的设计,为教师自主组合跨学科科研团队和设备资源提供了便捷。学科资源分析决策功能从设备、平台角度分析了学科建设效率,支持了一流学科的战略决策,推进了学科层级的设备共享。     

The practical management practices of independent HPT consultants

When independent human performance technology (HPT) consultants need practical guidance managing their own firms, they are thrust into a complex, confusing, and uncompassionate network of guides. This article focuses on the practical side of managing an independent HPT consulting practice. Several aspects are considered, including physical setting, legal structure, financial concerns, sales and marketing, pricing, and affiliations or alliances. In addition to a review of relevant literature, a survey of 150 independent consultants was reviewed and several interviews of independent consultants were conducted.     

Performance improvement/HPT model: Guiding the process

This commentary is part of an ongoing dialogue that began in the October 2011 special issue of Performance Improvement—Exploring a Universal Performance Model for HPT: Notes From the Field. The authors feel that the performance improvement/HPT model in its past, present, and potential future iterations is not the only model for our field; however, it makes a systematic and flexible contribution to the field.

The HPT model applied to a kayak company's registration process

This case study describes the step‐by‐step application of the traditional human performance technology (HPT) model at a premier kayak company located on the coast of North Carolina. The HPT model was applied to address lost revenues related to three specific business issues: misinformed customers, dissatisfied customers, and guides not showing up for tours or lessons at the kayak company. The case study includes problem statements, organizational analysis, environmental analysis, gap analysis, cause analysis, and proposed interventions.
