A non-canonical example to support P is not equal to NP

The more unambiguous statement of the P versus NP problem and the judgement of its hardness, are the key ways to find the full proof of the P versus NP problem. There are two sub-problems in the P versus NP problem. The first is the classifications of different mathematical problems (languages), and the second is the distinction between a non-deterministic Turing machine (NTM) and a deterministic Turing machine (DTM). The process of an NTM can be a power set of the corresponding DTM, which proves that the states of an NTM can be a power set of the corresponding DTM. If combining this viewpoint with Cantor’s theorem, it is shown that an NTM is not equipotent to a DTM. This means that "generating the power set P(A) of a set A" is a non-canonical example to support that P is not equal to NP.

The combination of online or semi-online with deterioration jobs has never been researched in scheduling problems. In this paper, two semi-online parallel machine scheduling problems with linear deterioration processing time are considered. In the first problem, it is assumed that the deterioration rates of jobs are known in an interval, that is, bj ∈[0, α], where 0 〈α≤ 1 and bj denotes the linear deterioration rate. In the second problem, it is assumed that the largest deterioration rate of jobs is known in advance, that is, b = max1≤j≤n {bj }. For each of the two problems, a heuristic MBLS algorithm is worked out and its worst-case ratio is analyzed. At the same time, the worst-case ratio of the list （LS） algorithm is investigated and it is proved that all the ratios are tight.     

Rising Acceptance of Life and Negative Capability—A Reading of John Keats’s Odes

"Beauty is truth, truth beauty"-the famous line in English romantic poet John Keats’Ode on a Grecian Urn-has triggered wide discussion and numerous interpretations. From the point of"negative capability", a phrase first coined by Keats himself, this paper is attempting to display the consistency between that poetic line and the poet’s creation and life attitude on the whole. For this purpose, this paper will mainly introduce and interpret five of Keats’famous odes in the order of their display of his"rising acceptance of life": Ode to a Nightingale, Ode on a Grecian Urn, Ode to Autumn, Ode on Melancholy and Ode on Indolence. This paper would like to show in the first three Keats’s positive quest in different aspects and on certain levels, the fourth the underlying tone of life’s polyphonous song, and the final the"negative capability"that constitutes his healthy attitude toward creation and life. Finally, this paper hopes to demonstrate that it is such capability that enables the poet to growingly accept life, and it is also essential to him as a philosophical poet.

突发公共安全危机可以分为外源性和内源性两类。如果说,对于国与国之间爆发的“外源性”危机的管理首先是一种“维护面子”的行为,则一个政治系统内部发生的“内源性”公共安全危机的管理首先应该是一种“社会动员”行为。任何社会动员行为都可以看作首先是一种言语行为,而作为“社会动员行为”的言语,为了确立社会动员行为的合法性和有效性,一个基本语用规则就是应该“实话实说”。但是,在危机管理中,却可能出现：政府在“实说”,但听众却并不以为是“实话”。由此,“实话如何实说”便成为一个值得分析的问题。     

论心理的本质

心理的本质应该是“知”（觉知）,因为“知”乃是一切心理意识现象的特征品质,且与其是性命悠关的：有“知”则有心理在,“知”一丧失则心理也消失了。但其他各种别的“心理本质”,如理性、自由、反映和意向性等实际都不够心理“本质”的资格,因为还存在着多种非理性、非自由、非反映性和非意向性的心理意识现象,故这些性质不是一切心理现象皆具备的。“知”（觉知）是最基本的心性,常被熟视无睹,但它却是最深奥的概念之一,因而也最适合表征心理的本质。对“知”的长期忘忽已经耽搁了对心理意识的本质把握和深入理解,并造成了许多不当的纷争。     

高鹗"传胪"之称辨析

《红楼梦》续书作者高,旧有“传胪”之称。查“传胪”本为宣布进士名单的仪礼行为,后由动词转化为名词,成为进士名单中的专用称谓。明代科举,“传胪”并指二甲、三甲第一名;清代科举,则偏指二甲第一名。根据有关资料,高于乙卯恩科所中名次为三甲第一名。就清代科举制来说,称其为“传胪”,实不够准确;但放在明清文化大背景中,称其为“传胪”亦非全无根据。
