The Writing Reflects the Thinking Pattern from Intercultural Perspective

The language is a play of signs. However, behind the signs is the culture manipulates the signs. The sign is the surface structure; while under the surface is that the thinking pattern matters, which is the only small part of the culture. The culture difference always exists. HIGHER EDUCATION AND RETIREMENT: THE ISRAELI EXPERIENCE

Following a review of the existing literature on educational opportunities in institutions of higher education for retired persons. This article provides an overview of the experience in this area of three major Israeli universities over the past 5 years. Each program's development, organization, and current status is described. Data is then presented on the social and intellectual backgrounds of the retired participants, their motivations, course interests, satisfaction with the programs, and social relations to other retired participants. In conclusion, some of the unanticipated “payoffs” and potential relevance of the Israeli experience in higher education for the retired of other countries is discussed.

理性语言批判——对“美是什么”的反思

人类理性语言是呈“递阶秩序”的结构,所谓最高概念都是假定的,是在无可奈何的情况下制定的。如果我们一定要用一种肯定的方式来回答,那就只能是绝对无或者“真空”。而所谓“中介性”概念,我们通常的解释和定义,其实都是近似值。所谓“是”或者“有”其实都是“不全是”或者“不全有”。表语永远无法和主语相符合或者相一致。此外,“这是什么”“那是什么”乃是一种“不知之问”,而像“美是什么”“艺术是什么”等问法,其实是“明知故问”。柏拉图的“美是什么”的命题,其答案就是“美本身”,而几千年来,与其说这种提问是一种误导,还不如说是后人对他的误解。     

一种脊波域数字水印算法

针对静止的自然图像,提出了一种基于有限脊波变换-Finite Ridgelet Transform(FRIT)域的水印算法．该算法利用二进小波提取原图像的模值图像之后,再对它进行分块,并分别对各个子块进行FRIT,最后把经过扩展谱技术处理得到的水印嵌入到每个子块能量最高的脊波系数中。水印的检测利用了相关函数法,且实现了水印的盲检测。实验证明该算法具有较强的鲁棒性。

日语复合动词后项中,表示方向＂上/下＂的动词数量多且语义丰富,本文以此为切入点,探究隐喻在复合动词的形成及语义扩张过程中的重要作用。与＂上/下＂有关的隐喻有：多为上、少为下;意识到的为上;便于感知的为上;热闹兴盛为上、消沉沮丧为下;丧失理性为上、保持理性为下;支配者为上、被支配者为下;受人尊重者为上、受人鄙视者为下;完成为上,这些隐喻解释了复合动词形成及其语义扩张的规律性。     

"道"--一种对存在的形而上学思考

老子“道”的哲学实则是一种对存在意义的思考。“道”之存在是“无状之状，无物之象”，不是任何物的存在，故“道”是“无”；但“道”又不是非存在，不是虚无，而是真实的存在，故“道”为“有”。“道”之作为存在正是这种“无”与“有”的统一，是“无”之“有”，即不是任何事物之存在。由于“道”的存在是“无”，故为无限，是无限之存在，故能包容天地万物，为天地万物之母。“道”的这种“无”与“有”的矛盾统一是天地万物得以产生存在的形而上根源，整个宇宙就是一个在道的“无”“有”矛盾转化中的生生不息的逻辑过程。
