对外汉语教学是以培养交际能力为最终目标的,修辞是其中不可或缺的一部分。我们既要在对外汉语教学的不同阶段确定相应的修辞教学内容,循序渐进而又系统地进行修辞教学,同时要结合各类语言技能课来训练学生的修辞能力。

文章对对外汉语修辞的基本理论做了初步探讨。在此基础上揭示了对外汉语修辞与汉语修辞及对外汉语教学之间的相互关系,通过对修辞理论不断发展的线索梳理,论述了修辞教学在传统对外汉语教学中的处境;“修辞学转向”对对外汉语教学理论的冲击以及对其理论发展与创新的重要意义,论述了新型修辞教学在今后整个对外汉语教学体系中的重要地位和实践意义。
