This paper proposes a time domain approach to deal with the regional eigenvalue-clustering robustness analysis problem of linear uncertain multivariable output feedback proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control systems. The robust regional eigenvalue-clustering analysis problem of linear uncertain multivariable output feedback PID control systems is converted to the regional eigenvalue-clustering robustness analysis problem of linear uncertain singular systems with static output feedback controller. Based on some essential properties of matrix measures, a new sufficient condition is proposed for ensuring that the closed-loop singular system with both structured and mixed quadratically-coupled parameter uncertainties is regular and impulse-free, and has all its finite eigenvalues retained inside the same specified region as the nominal closed-loop singular system does. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the application of the presented sufficient condition.  相似文献

A well-known method of eigenvalue assignment by static output feedback is improved. The main result is a parametric expression for the output feedback controller gain matrix explicitly characterized by the set of non-linear system of equations obtained for the state feedback design and the set of linear equations resulting from static output feedback consideration. In practice, it is shown that all the possible controllers can be generated for exactly assigning the prescribed eigenvalues of the nominal plant by appropriate software for solving the set of non-linear system of equations thus obtained. This in turn makes it possible to select the output feedback matrix with minimum norm or other constraints. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the design technique.  相似文献

For a general state-space model of three-dimensional (3-D) systems the characteristic polynomial (eigenvalue) control problem via state and output feedback is considered. A frequency domain approach is employed which in the scalar input case leads to a set of necessary and sufficient conditions. The multi-input problem is treated by assuming that the state or output feedback gain matrix is expressed as the dyadic product ⊙F = ⊙ ⊙fT of a column vector ⊙β and a row vector ⊙fT. This assumption leads to an equivalent scalar input problem β which is directly solved by using the scalar input results. Concerning the dynamic feedback compensator design problem, the important particular case of proportional plus integral plus derivative (PID) control is considered and treated by essentially the same algorithm, which leads to a linear algebraic system in the unknown parameters, along with some constraint equations upon the closed-loop characteristic polynomial sought.  相似文献

Output feedback exponential stabilization of uncertain chained systems   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
This paper deals with chained form systems with strongly nonlinear disturbances and drift terms. The objective is to design robust nonlinear output feedback laws such that the closed-loop systems are globally exponentially stable. The systematic strategy combines the input-state-scaling technique with the so-called backstepping procedure. A dynamic output feedback controller for general case of uncertain chained system is developed with a filter of observer gain. Furthermore, two special cases are considered which do not use the observer gain filter. In particular, a switching control strategy is employed to get around the smooth stabilization issue (difficulty) associated with nonholonomic systems when the initial state of system is known.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel control strategy is proposed for asymptotically stabilizing chained nonholonomic systems with input delay. Firstly, by using the input-state-scaling technique and the static gain control method, the stabilization control problem of such systems is transformed into designing two gain parameters to stabilize a class of generalized feedback systems with state delay. Then, based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii theorem, the stability analysis of the closed-loop systems is achieved by the appropriate selection of the gain parameters, and the state and output feedback controllers are constructed simultaneously. An illustrative example is also provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.  相似文献

This paper deals with the exponential stabilization of first order ODE-transport PDE coupled at the boundary point. A state feedback boundary control law has been formulated with the help of the backstepping method. The main novelty of this paper is that the stabilization of the coupled system is discussed by Lyapunov theory and the appropriate observer gain is designed by using the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). An anti-collocated observer design for the corresponding dual system is also presented. The state feedback boundary controller, observer design and the stabilization of the closed-loop system are discussed in detail with illustrative numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the fault-tolerant tracking control for a class of uncertain robotic systems under time-varying output constraints. Notably, both actuator fault and the disturbances are present while all the dynamic matrices are not necessarily to be parameterized by unknown parameters or have known nominal parts, and moreover, the reference trajectories as well as the output constraints functions are not necessarily twice continuously differentiable without any time derivatives of them being available for feedback. These remarkable characteristics greatly relax the corresponding assumptions of the related literature and in turn to bring the ineffectiveness of the traditional schemes on this topic. For this, a powerful adaptive control methodology is established by incorporating adaptive dynamic compensation technique into the backstepping framework based on Barrier Lyapunov functions. Then, an adaptive state feedback controller with the smart choices of adaptive law and virtual controls is designed which guarantees that all the states of the closed-loop system are bounded and the system output practically tracks the reference trajectory while not violates the output constraints.  相似文献

For a class of stochastic strict-feedback nonlinear systems subject to different time delay states, this paper mainly concerns the problem of global asymptotic stabilization. Two new control strategies that the memoryless parameter-dependent state feedback control and the memoryless parameter-dependent output feedback control are taken into consideration, respectively. By skillfully constructing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional, taking the proper determined parameter and employing the stochastic nonlinear time delay system (SNTDS) stability theory, the global asymptotic stability of the stochastic closed-loop system can be achieved. The proposed output feedback control scheme is finally utilized for the control design of the one-link manipulator system and two-stage chemical reactor system, which can verify the availability of the control approach.  相似文献

This paper investigates the adaptive fuzzy control design problem of multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) non-strict feedback nonlinear systems. The considered control systems contain unknown control directions and dead zones. Fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) are utilized to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, and the state observers are designed to estimate immeasurable states. By constructing a dead zone compensator and introducing a Nussbaum gain function into the backstepping technique, an adaptive fuzzy output feedback control method is developed. The proposed adaptive fuzzy controller is proved to guarantee the semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) of the closed-loop system, and can solve the control design problems of unmeasured states, unknown control directions and dead zones. The simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of non-fragile guaranteed cost control for a class of uncertain stochastic nonlinear time-delay systems. The parametric uncertainties are assumed to be time-varying and norm bounded. The time-delay factors are unknown and time-varying with known bounds. The aim of this paper is to design a memoryless non-fragile state feedback control law such that the closed-loop system is stochastically asymptotically stable in the mean square for all admissible parameter uncertainties and the closed-loop cost function value is not more than a specified upper bound. A new sufficient condition for the existence of such controllers is presented based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Then, a convex optimization problem is formulated to select the optimal guaranteed cost controller which minimizes the upper bound of the closed-loop cost function. Numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed techniques.  相似文献

A new approach for observer-based feedback control of time-delay systems is developed. Time-delays in systems lead to characteristic equations of infinite dimension, making the systems difficult to control with classical control methods. In this paper, a recently developed approach, based on the Lambert W function, is used to address this difficulty by designing an observer-based state feedback controller via assignment of eigenvalues. The designed observer provides estimation of the state, which converges asymptotically to the actual state, and is then used for state feedback control. The feedback controller and the observer take simple linear forms and, thus, are easy to implement when compared to nonlinear methods. This new approach is applied, for illustration, to the control of a diesel engine to achieve improvement in fuel efficiency and reduction in emissions. The simulation results show excellent closed-loop performance.  相似文献

For a class of flexible joint manipulators actuated by DC-motors, the problem of modeling and trajectory tracking control under random disturbances is considered in this paper. How to describe random disturbances and introduce them to the system is the key for modeling and control. According to the relative motion and the equivalent circuit, the effect of random disturbances can be regarded as torque or voltage disturbed by colored noises. Thus, a random model is constructed. By using the vectorial backstepping and the technique of separating out the noise from coupled terms, a state feedback tracking controller is designed such that the state of closed-loop system has an asymptotic gain in the 2nd moment and the mean square of tracking error converges to an arbitrarily small neighborhood of zero by tuning design parameters. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by the simulation results for a two-link robot.  相似文献

In this paper well known constant output feedback techniques are applied to a 2-input, 2-output time-invariant linear model of an unregulated turbo-alternator to design a suitable excitation controller in order to improve the dynamic response (stability) of the unit, by virtue of controlling the eigenvalues of the resulting closed-loop system in a predescribed (desirable) manner. The results of the simulated cases indicate a significant improvement of the dynamic response of the designed closed-loop system.  相似文献

A control system of an ODE and a diffusion PDE is discussed in this paper. The novelty lies in that the system is coupled. The method of PDE backstepping as well as some special skills is resorted in stabilizing the coupled PDE–ODE control system, which is transformed into an exponentially stable PDE–ODE cascade with an invertible integral transformation. And a state feedback boundary controller is designed. Moreover, an exponentially convergent observer for anti-collocated setup is proposed, and the output feedback boundary control problem is solved. For both the state and output feedback boundary controllers, exponential stability analyses in the sense of the corresponding norms for the resulting closed-loop systems are given through rigid proofs.  相似文献

For a class of large-scale nonlinear time-delay systems with uncertain output equations, the problem of global state asymptotic regulation is addressed by output feedback. The class of systems under consideration are subject to feedforward growth conditions with unknown growth rate and time delays in inputs and outputs. To deal with the system uncertainties and the unknown delays, a novel low-gain observer with adaptive gain is firstly proposed; next, an adaptive output feedback delay-free controller is constructed by combining Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with backstepping algorithm. Compared with the existing results, the controllers proposed are capable of handling both the uncertain output functions and the unknown time delays in inputs and outputs. With the help of dynamic scaling technique, it is shown that the closed-loop states converge asymptotically to zero, while the adaptive gain is bounded globally. Finally, the effectiveness of our control schemes are illustrated by three examples.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust self-triggered model predictive control (MPC) scheme is proposed for linear discrete-time systems subject to additive disturbances, state and control constraints. To reduce the amount of computation on controller sides, MPC optimization problems are only solved at certain sampling instants which are determined by a novel self-triggering mechanism. The main idea of the self-triggering mechanism is to choose inter-sampling times by guaranteeing a fast decrease in optimal costs. It implies a fast convergence of system states to a compact set where it is ultimately bounded and a reduction of computation times to stabilize the system. Once the state enters a terminal region, the system can be stabilized to a robust invariant set by a state feedback controller. Robust constraint satisfaction is ensured by utilizing the worst-case set-valued predictions of future states in such a way that recursive feasibility is guaranteed for all possible realisations of disturbances. In the case where a priority is given to reducing communication costs rather than improvement in control performance in a neighborhood of the origin, a feedback control law based on nominal state predictions is designed in the terminal region to avoid frequent feedback. Performances of the closed-loop system are demonstrated by a simulation example.  相似文献

This paper addresses the event-triggered tracking control design for state-constrained switched nonstrict feedback nonlinear systems. With the help of a time-varying nonlinear shifting function (TVNSF) introduced into the switched nonlinear system, the proposed solution is seen as a unified tool regardless of whether the constraint conditions are state constraints, output constraint, or even no constraint. Also, by allowing the triggering error to vary with the switching signal in time, the negative effects of the mismatch between the individual controller and the subsystem on system performance are trumped. Moreover, by using constructed individual Lyapunov function that depends on the lower bound of the control gain function of individual subsystem, a novel switching signal satisfying the average dwell time (ADT) is provided to ensure the boundedness of all variables in the closed-loop system. Finally, the proposed theory is carried over into a mass-spring-damper system to verify its effectiveness.  相似文献

The main idea of the original parallel distributed compensation (PDC) method is to partition the dynamics of a nonlinear system into a number of linear subsystems, design a number of state feedback gains for each linear subsystem, and finally generate the overall state feedback gain by fuzzy blending of such gains. A new modification to the original PDC method is proposed here, so that, besides the stability issue, the closed-loop performance of the system can be considered at the design stage. For this purpose, the state feedback gains are not considered constant through the linearized subsystems, rather, based on some prescribed performance criteria, several feedback gains are associated to every subsystem, and the final gain for every subsystem is obtained by fuzzy blending of such gains. The advantage is that, for example, a faster response can be obtained, for a given bound on the control input. Asymptotic stability of the closed loop system is also guaranteed by using the Lyapunov method. To illustrate the effectiveness of the new method, control of a flexible joint robot (FJR) is investigated and superiority of the designed controller over other existing methods is demonstrated.  相似文献

This article focuses on the adaptive event-triggered output feedback stabilization problem for a class of high-order systems with uncertain output function. Firstly, an adaptive event-triggered mechanism with a dynamic gain is designed for the nominal system. Then the gain is employed into the observer and event-triggered controller to dominate the nonlinearities. Thirdly, it is proved that all system states converge to zero and the Zeno-behavior is excluded. Finally, a numerical example reveals the effectiveness of the proposed event-triggered control strategy.  相似文献
