酒店网站建设作为信息化服务水平的重要标志,其实质是为顾客提供满意的服务。文章从酒店网站更有效地服务顾客为出发点,结合顾客对网站服务功能的实际需求,对酒店网站的服务功能进行问卷调查以及案头调研,在此基础上了解并分析酒店网站的服务功能分布的现状及匹配度,对高星级酒店的网站服务功能的设计提出建议,为其他酒店网站建设提供思路。  相似文献

本研究模拟远程学习者基于网络进行自主学习的情境,应用网站能力测试软件Web-CT 4.0,对我国网络学院网站的响应时间作了测试,同时利用SPSS软件处理测试数据。研究发现,2005年度我国网络学院网站性能有明显改善,性能优越的网站比例从2005年初的1/3上升到2006年初的2/3,学习者对网站服务的平均满意度从2005年初的基本满意上升为满意;但网站之间的性能差异较大,目前仍有15%的网站性能差或很差。从地区分布情况来看,上海、北京、湖北等地区总体水平较高,东北、陕西等地区总体水平较低。作者建议, 尽快出台相关学习支持服务标准,提高学习支持服务的效率。  相似文献

我国志愿服务发展的现实需求要求志愿服务网站在提高志愿服务知名度、拓宽参与渠道、招募培训志愿者等方面起到更大的作用.本文以我国27家志愿服务网站为研究对象,采用网络计量学中的链接分析方法,通过搜索引擎得到的网站相关链接指标数据,运用因子分析进行统计处理,从而综合评价各家志愿服务网站规模及影响力.同时,通过对六家综合指标突出的网站进行评估分析,总结当前志愿服务网站特征,并提出提升网站影响力及知名度的相应建议.  相似文献

基于服务过程的视角,从OTA网站特征、服务交付与结果三方面提出在线旅行预订服务质量的测量维度,利用PLS结构方程分析网站功能性、信息质量、履行性、经济性、保障机制等五大维度对顾客满意与忠诚的影响。研究发现,在线旅行预订服务中的经济性、信息质量、履行性三维度对顾客满意与忠诚都有显著影响,而保障机制维度仅对顾客忠诚有显著影响,功能性维度仅对顾客满意有显著影响。文章结合我国在线旅行预订行业的特点,从网站信息管理与服务质量过程监控等方面提出了管理启示。  相似文献

There is a lack of published research on designing Web-based instruction for the adult U.S. Latino population. Instructional designers need guidance on how to design culturally relevant learning environments for this audience, particularly for Latino people from Mexican heritage. The authors used content analysis to investigate the extent to which 20 U.S. state food stamp Web sites and 20 Mexican state government Web sites contained culturally relevant interface features targeted at the Spanish-speaking Latino population. Web sites were coded for 10 features distilled from Hofstede??s work on cultural differences. Results indicated that more culturally and linguistically relevant features, including Hofstede??s dimensions of collectivism, power distance, and uncertainty avoidance, as well as adequacy of information in Spanish, were found on Mexican than on U.S. Web sites. The findings suggest that Hofstede??s cultural dimensions theory might provide a useful framework for designing Web-based resources for the adult U.S. Spanish-speaking Latino population and provides additional evidence to further investigate if Web-based interface features tailored for U.S. Latino Web users motivate users, strengthen communication, and promote learning.  相似文献

Using a conceptual model, this study examines the variables associated with the U.S. News and World Report peer assessment ratings of graduate and professional schools in business, education, engineering, law, and medicine. What are the correlates of prestige among the nation’s leading graduate and professional schools, and are they consistent with prior studies of prestige? Not since the studies of the 1995 National Research Council (NRC) data have scholars examined the correlates of prestige for individual graduate programs, and no study has ever extensively examined the U.S. News graduate ratings. Using available data from U.S. News, as well as institutional websites and ISI Web of Science information, this analysis finds robust relationships between the U.S. News graduate school reputation ratings and the model-relevant indicators, especially enrollment size, admissions test scores, and faculty publications per capita.  相似文献

With permission from Childbirth Connection, the concise version of the Listening to Mothers II "Survey Methodology" is reprinted here. Harris Interactive(R) conducted Listening to Mothers II: Report of the Second National U.S. Survey of Women's Childbearing Experiences on behalf of Childbirth Connection. The survey consisted of 1,373 online interviews and 200 telephone interviews with women who had given birth in U.S. hospitals in 2005, with weighting of data to reflect the target population. Interviews were conducted from January 20 through February 21, 2006. The methods used to conduct the survey and analyze the data collected are described.  相似文献

Abstract

This article discusses the design, development, and implementation of a collaborative learning environment for online training ‘Infoshare on the Web’ It was designed to teach participants how to use and/or improve their use of Web search engines to access information on the Web. Participants collaborated in completing group tasks using asynchronous communication provided by Simon Fraser's Virtual‐U, a Web‐based environment that supports distance education, information sharing, and training. The module was delivered in four weeks, and participants found both advantages and limitations in the use of asynchronous environments for training.  相似文献

This study examined Asian international graduate students’ expectations of and attitudes toward counseling by using U.S. graduate students as a comparative reference group. Survey data from 189 Asian international and 186 U.S. students were subject to analyses. Results indicated that Asian international students, in comparison with U.S. students, indicated less exposure to counseling, less self-perceived need for counseling, greater discomfort/shame with counseling, less openness to counseling, a greater preference for a directive style, and a greater preference for a flexible counseling format. Language and cultural concerns were barriers to seeking counseling. Implications for culturally responsive services were discussed.  相似文献

In the United States and Germany, effective school leadership is pivotal to a school's success. Yet in each country, attracting and retaining qualified school leaders is a formidable challenge. This study compares the influence of possible motivators and inhibitors that impact teachers’ decisions to become principals in the two countries. Survey responses of 311 U.S. students in principal preparation programs in the United States and responses of 117 German students in similar programs in Germany indicate that many factors that motivate and inhibit U.S. and German teachers to become school leaders are similar. The results also reveal areas in which the U.S. and Germany may learn from each other regarding motivators and inhibitors to becoming school administrators.  相似文献

LISTENING TO MOTHERS II: Report of the Second National U.S. Survey of Women's Childbearing Experiences (Declercq, Sakala, Corry, & Applebaum, 2006) is essential reading for the childbirth educator. Birth continues to be "intervention intensive" in the United States, and less than 2% of women have births characterized by the six care practices that promote, protect, and support normal birth. Only a little more than half of the women surveyed attended childbirth education classes, and only 4% reported that childbirth classes were their most important source of information. Seventy-eight percent used the Internet as an information resource. As a result of childbirth classes, women report, they are more confident in their ability to give birth but also less fearful of medical intervention. The results of these and other findings have important implications for childbirth education.  相似文献
