应该很少人知道每年的1月4日是世界盲文日（World Braille Day）。之所以将这个节日取名为“World Braille Day”,完全是为了纪念法国发明家路易·布莱尔（Louis Braille）。布莱尔出生于一个马具匠家庭,小时候在玩弄小刀时曾不慎刺伤一只眼睛,随后又感染另一只眼睛,最后导致双目失明。
