聊聊世博会

人们公认的首届世博会,是1851年5月11在英国伦敦海德公园举行的,有25个国家参加,16天展期内共有630万人次前往参观。这次博览会,较好地展示了英国工业技术取得的划时代成就。1867年在法国巴黎,1873年在奥地利维也纳,1876年在美国费城,1893年在美国芝加哥等地分别举办了多次世博会。1915年为纪念巴拿马运河开通,著名的巴拿马世博会在美国旧金山举行。这次世博会上,中国的茅台酒和张裕白兰地酒荣获金奖。     

张裕往事(五)巴拿马金奖与中国八大名酒

张裕曾获巴拿马金奖这已是尽人皆知的事。1915年在美国旧金山召开的“巴拿马太平洋万国博览会”引起世界各国的重视,41个国家参加了本次博览会。中国政府十分看重这一盛会,特意安排人员先期赴美筹建中华馆,还组织了阵容庞大的观光团前往助阵。代表政府参会的是
