《阿Q正传》小说文本具有确立现代叙事行为主体的理论功能，体现为《序》的“虚构”的叙述行为与传统历史叙事之间的文本间性，《序》的目的正是确立前者、颠覆后者。鲁迅在小说叙述过程中，创造性地融合了中国的传统文章笔法，“小说模样的文章”的文体创造，为现代中国小说的叙事展示了典范性的文章肌理。在文章肌理中体现的叙述策略，包含了中国现代小说丰富的诗学内涵。领略其丰富的内涵，必须由“细读”实现。     

历史小说的新格局——兼论《故事新编》的“油滑”

鲁迅先生的《故事新编》在文体上是历史小说的创新。关于历史小说这一文学体裁,鲁迅先生在他的《故事新编·序言》中曾有这样的界定:一类是“博考文献,言必有据者”的所谓“教授小说”;还是一类就是“只取一点因由,随意点染,铺成一篇”,从严格意义上说,应该称之为历史题材小说。前一类也就是传统的历史小说,用史家笔法创作,鲁迅先生认为它“很难组织”;后一类的历史题材小说,就是《故事新编》的八篇,表现出与传统历史小说截然不同的风格——鲁迅先生自称为“油滑”的。这一类小说,是一种崭新的历史小说。
