汉语修辞研究深化的空间

本文在对汉语修辞研究现状分析的基础上,提出了汉语修辞研究深化的两个方面,一是要加强词语和句式运用的研究,二是有关修辞格的研究不能停留在描写上, 需要进一步深入思考、分析,探究修辞格形成的机制,以及各种修辞格跟其他语言现象之间的联系.文章以实例对上述两方面进行了具体的论述和说明.     

加拿大的高等教育研究:历史、新兴主题和未来方向

本文对加拿大高等教育作为一个研究领域的演变进行了大致的描述性分析,主要关注这一领域中学术成就的历史发展;其次聚焦于一些得到相当多关注的新兴主题和研究课题,包括公平、多样性和包容性,高等教育的本土化和非殖民化,国际化,以及学生经历;最后对未来的趋势发表了一些评论。     

虚拟团队的内涵及其研究的方向和方法问题探析

可以将虚拟团队理解为成员在跨越位置的、时间的和关系的界限进行工作时，在不同程度上使用技术以完成相互依赖任务的团队。近年来西方学者对虚拟团队研究兴趣大增，他们认识到更多的团队是进行虚拟工作的，一定程度的虚拟性是大多数团队的组成部分。学者们现在仅仅开始着手理解虚拟团队是怎样运转的，为了方便这种团队的设计和管理，还有许多工作要做。     

Future Directions for Research on Online Technical Education

ABSTRACT

Most research on online learning in higher education has been focused on general education at four-year institutions. There is a need for more research that focuses on online and hybrid education at community colleges in technical education fields. This issue includes articles from eight National Science Foundation funded projects doing innovative work on the use of online and hybrid learning in technical education. Examination of these articles suggests several potential directions for future research in this area including the following: how to choose between fully online and hybrid course delivery; how technical education programs can successfully partner with industry; how to examine and select specific online educational strategies to enhance online technical education; how to sustain innovative online educational programs after grant funding is complete; and how to support nontraditional students in online or hybrid technical education programs.     

Future Directions in the Movement Arts and Sciences

I argue in this paper that sport should be retained as an important part of the educational rationale for physical education. I consider Siedentop's critique of physical education and his alternative in the form of Sport Education. Siedentop's goals for youth sport and physical education and use of the work of Alisdair McIntyre are explored. It is argued that if we work to experience activities that are inherently pleasurable and intrinsically satisfying, then there is a possible future for activities such as sport. I conclude that school physical education is well placed to take up this challenge of sustaining sport as a moral practice and that the pedagogical tools already exist to do this in the form of a critical pedagogy.     

Future Directions of Civil Engineering Education

This paper briefly surveys the new trends of the research and development in the field of civil engineering and suggests that educators should adapt their curricula accordingly to produce civil engineers capable of coping with the professional needs of the coming century.     

Roots of Greatness: Future Directions

This article contains essential and contemporary information in the form of opinion statements written by past-presidents of ACES and serves to meet archival and proactive functions for those persons associated with the guidance and counseling movement. Fifteen leaders report their perceptions and suggest directions vital to future progress in facilitating the work of counselor education graduates. Without exception, the leaders set a mood for optimism with expressions of need for preparation standards of high quality in counselor education—a product of the delicate triangle linking faculty, graduates, and subject matter of the counseling field.

国际化是当今高等教育最重要的焦点,为医学院校带来了强有力的挑战和机遇.本文从全球视角分析高等教育尤其是医学教育国际化的内涵及其驱动因素,相信在新的教育技术和教学手段的促进下,未来的医学教育将转向跨国整合型、多校合作的教育模式.     

Situational Interest: A Review of the Literature and Directions for Future Research

This paper reviews theoretical and empirical research on situational interest. A distinction is made between situational and personal interest. The former is spontaneous and context-specific, whereas the latter is enduring and context-general. We summarize historical perspectives and recent empirical findings on situational interest. Five emergent themes are identified that focus on relationships among situational interest, information processing, and affective engagement. We also discuss important topics for future research.
