李大钊传播马克思主义从何时开始? 最初动因是什么? 宣传形式、内容有哪些? 当时产生的反响和作用有多大? 宣传特点是什么? 对这些问题本文谈了一己之见。核心是:李大钊由认识了俄国十月革命实践之伟大而认识到马克思主义理论之真灼,而非先认识了马克思主义理论才歌颂十月革命实践。他在中国第一个把马克思与工人阶级联系在一起。他先于其他人接受、引进、传播了马克思主义,虽没有在当时引起大的反响,但为五四后广泛传播和树立马克思主义起了引导作用。当时他对马克思主义某些观点的理解还存在着不精当之处。

Drawing in Perspective: Scottish Art and Design Teachers Discuss Drawing

What are the main purposes of drawing in the secondary art and design curriculum? What are Scottish art teachers' views on the role and function of drawing? How is drawing taught in Scottish schools? These three broad questions formed the basis of the research reported in this article. The small‐scale study, carried out between June 2002 and June 2004 will, the authors hope, be of interest to art educators seeking to explore the teaching of drawing as a key component of art and design education. In this article, we report on the background to the study, the place of drawing in Scottish art education, the methodology used, discuss some of the respondents' comments and conclude with some reflections and thoughts for future study.

The future of the academic calling? Junior researchers in the entrepreneurial university

This article explores what motivates junior researchers to engage in academic work and what questions are central for their academic identities. The context of the study is the entrepreneurial orientation of today’s university, which according to many leaves little space for the academic calling. The main argument is that the identity work of the junior researchers interviewed revolves around four key questions: What kind of research should I do? What kind of tasks should I prioritize? Am I good enough at what I am doing? What would be the right place for me in the future? Their answers to these questions show that while some elements of the traditional academic identity continue to appeal to the junior researchers, they also search for new interpretations and sources of meaning.
