描述我国数字图书馆寡头垄断的市场格局,分析数字图书馆的成本曲线,讨论数字图书馆服务的公共物品性质如何导致市场的稀薄以及数字图书馆服务商的定价策略,并对各种管制办法进行比较。研究表明,数字图书馆的产品属性、成本特点以及企业的利润最大化行为,将会导致价格提高,服务量变小。政府应该对数字图书馆服务市场实行一定的价格管制。  相似文献

对中国学术数字信息资源市场中数据库服务商的垄断行为进行博弈分析,并对市场监管部门及不同规模服务商提出发展建议。通过模型分析发现:由于不同信息资源需求的不均匀性,买断少量高需求资源可以提升企业效益,不过垄断进行到一定程度就会停止,且先行动者获益更明显;规模小的服务商有更大动力买断数字信息资源,规模大的服务商的报复行动对规模小的服务商的效益影响不大,所以规模小的服务商具有很大的意愿买断信息资源;允许各服务商保有一定量独占资源,鼓励深度挖掘及提供个性化服务是形成市场良性竞争的有效途径。  相似文献

宁波市数字图书馆是目前国内首个为社会提供全免费服务的数字图书馆,也是国内首个由地区政府主导建设的综合性、跨系统的区域性数字图书馆。本文介绍了该数字图书馆的功能结构及文献资源数量,重点研究了该图书馆的文献传递组织及流程,定量分析了开通以来的文献传递服务情况。分析结果表明宁波数字图书馆对实现当地资源共享和经济建设起到了巨大作用。  相似文献

为了解我国电子图书数字图书馆建设与数字出版市场现状,设计面向全国图书馆采购与使用电子图书数字图书馆情况的调查问卷,利用问卷调查法、统计分析法和信息计量分析法对调查结果进行分析,结果表明目前电子图书市场是以超星、方正、书生之家、中国数字图书馆为首的完全竞争市场,电子图书数字图书馆的发展依赖于政府支持、先进技术支持、读者素养的提高和采购经费的增加4个方面。  相似文献

传统媒体的市场结构具有缝隙竞争的特征。在三网融合的背景下,我国政府采取了针对电信产业和广播电视产业的非对称规制措施,这使得传统媒体产业的政策性进入成本依然存在。但是,产业外替代性产品/服务的出现使得拥有垄断地位的媒介机构更多地采取竞争性策略行为,因而中国传媒产业市场结构出现了新的特征:一是缝隙竞争市场结构的弱化更多地源自传媒产业内部机构对新技术的利用或重组,而不是来自于产业外企业的进入;二是中国传媒产业市场具有了一种动态的竞争和垄断,双双被强化的市场结构——竞争性垄断。  相似文献

网络中立原则自创制起就成为不同利益集团博弈的目标。从信息传播的角度看,非中立网络不但会阻碍和限制草根用户的内容生产权,而且也会对内容服务商的网络参与进行把关,甚至形成垄断。本文认为,基于电信运营商的属性和维护普通用户信息使用权的角度,我国需要坚持网络中立原则。  相似文献

If one wanted to measure the historic level of multimedia industry concentration in Mexico, it would not be necessary to use statistics, financial analysis, viewer ratings, or other evaluation systems. The maximum level of concentration is 1, and, in Mexico, that number belonged for 20 years to Grupo Televisa (1973–1993). Televisa's position was lost in 1993 when entrepreneur Ricardo Salinas Pliego launched TV Azteca. This paper explores the principal strategies used by TV Azteca to overcome the entry barriers set by the Televisa monopoly. The paper also presents an economic valuation of this duopoly market 7 years after the shift in market structure.  相似文献

In this study I explored the effects of the development of direct competition in the delivery of cable services to a small Arkansas city. The emergence of competition produced lower prices, better customer service, increased choices in programming, and technological improvements as the market structure moved from monopoly to duopoly and achieved an equilibrium in which each service company serves a 50% market share. Because neither firm is producing a profit under the current situation, I argue that in the long-run the competitors may switch to oligopolistic pricing behavior and focus on nonprice competition in an effort to achieve profitability.  相似文献

This study examines cable system diversification into three nontraditional services: pay-per-view television, high-speed Internet access, and telephony. An econometrics model based on the Industrial Organization Model is used to explore the factors that have led to variation in diversification among cable systems. Specifically, this study examines how three sets of variables, namely, cable system characteristics, market structure, and market demographics, influenced cable system diversification. Multiple linear regression was performed to identify the determinants of cable system total degree of diversification, which is defined to be the number, from 0 to 3, of the three nontraditional services offered by a cable system. Regression results indicate that Multiple System Operator (MSO) ownership, the number of basic cable service subscribers, and the number of broadcast television stations receivable over the air all had a statistically significant positive relationship to cable system total degree of diversification, whereas the number high-speed Internet service providers in a cable franchise area had a statistically significant negative relationship to cable system's total degree of diversification.  相似文献

Public administrations are increasingly relying on collaboration within inter-organizational networks to coordinate the development and provisioning of integrated digital public services. Collaboration strategies are necessary to focus collaborative efforts, align and prioritize goals, and leverage concrete results that advance integrated service delivery (ISD). However, literature on inter-organizational collaboration strategies for integrated service delivery is scarce. This research identifies collaboration strategies in three qualitative case studies in Belgium. The cases present 33 collaboration strategies categorized into engagement, motivation, and joint action strategies. Collaboration strategies should complement each other. Together these strategies can help to overcome the adoption paradox, one of the key issues to advance ISD, which refers to service providers not being inclined to adopt an ISD unless it has many users, but users might not be willing to use and ISD before many service providers have adopted it. Policy-makers can use the identified collaboration strategies to advance integrated service delivery.  相似文献

This study investigates the current status and attitudes towards academic e-book publishing by mainland Chinese academic publishers through an online survey. This study collected survey data from 49 authoritative academic publishers in China, focusing on their e-book sales profiles and their perceptions of how e-book sales affect publishers and libraries. The data reveals that China's academic e-book industry is still at an early development stage and has a relatively small market. The findings show significant differences in the willingness and attitudes towards e-book publishing between SSH publishers and STEM publishers, and also demonstrate that the enhancement of the demand for e-books by academic libraries promotes the process of the digital transformation of academic publishers. This study then argues that Chinese academic publishers need to further improve the quality of academic e-books, accelerate the transition from academic content providers to academic content service providers, and strengthen their cooperation with stakeholders.  相似文献

Reading with a digital device is bringing a great change in South Korea, owing to the evolution of devices and LTE network service environments. Such technological changes continue to transform the reading environment around the world. Consequently, publishers and content providers are open to new segments of the markets with opportunities. The future publication fields such as planning and design of digital content in the mobile environment are great examples.
