我国网络教育学院媒体教学模式分析

本文从学习、辅导两个教学环节出发,对网络教育学院的媒体教学方式进行了内容分析,归纳出网络教育学院媒体教学的五种基本方式,即自主学习、网上辅导、面授辅导、卫星教学和面授教学;并在此基础上,通过统计分析,得出我国网络教育学院的三类媒体教学模式,即以自主学习和网上辅导为主的,自主学习、网上辅导和卫星电视教学三结合的,以自主学习和面授辅导为主的。文章接着对媒体教学手段进行内容分析,最后得出结论并分析了远程教育媒体教学的发展趋势。     

"交叉滚动"面授在网络教学中的运用

笔者在现代汉语专题课程教学实践中构建了导说仿评"四轮驱动"面授课教学模式,通过导学、谈话、仿做、点评几个主要环节来实现教学目标,解决教学中普遍存在的"学""用"分离的问题.     

Reclaiming tutorials as learning spaces in the sciences

ABSTRACT

Tutorials/discussion classes¹ are seen as an essential part of the teaching mix in the natural sciences, because that is where problems can be solved and course content is applied. Learning support provided by teaching assistants may free up the lecturer to do research, but are these assistants sufficiently well trained and well informed? Do tutorials offer learning spaces or merely activities to engage the willing student? In this paper I report on a study conducted in a science faculty of a research intensive university in South Africa. I collected data using interviews and questionnaires which gave insight into the many variants of tutor/teaching assistant² support that exist in the faculty. Practices that seem to lead to better student learning were also foregrounded. It became evident that lecturers need to plan their tutorials as an integral part of the learning space and not as an add-on activity.     

基于控制论的数学测试系统应用研究

数学问题解决能力的高低直接影响到学生学习数学的效率、学习兴趣、学习成绩以及学生学习潜力的开发。传统的数学教学方式容易使学生形成固定的思维模式,不利于创造性思维的培养。基于控制论的数学测试系统,将资源科学归类,提供教师辅导和及时诊断服务,注重学科知识的应用和学生间协作意识的培养。利用该数学测试系统,学生可以及时获得反馈,明晰自己的学习状态和问题;教师可以根据学习过程中学习者的变化状态,不断调整数学训练的内容和方式,制定最佳的教学方案,使学生在控制模型下,不断提高数学问题的解决能力。     

A methodological framework for understanding and describing discipline‐based scholarship of teaching in higher education through design‐based research

Since their inception in 1993 at an Australian university, the workshop tutorials in physics have evolved and grown beyond the initiating department. In this paper, we adopt an interpretive perspective to: (i) reflect on why the tutorials continue to be successful; (ii) use models from literature to understand that success; and (iii) abstract key features that can inform scholarly inquiry into teaching and learning in higher education in other contexts and discipline areas. Practitioner (action) research and design‐based research not only provide useful methodological frameworks that support the success of the workshop tutorials, but they also offer a worthwhile methodological strategy for fostering scholarly inquiry into university teaching and student learning.

Learning Study: nurturing the instructional design and teaching competency of pre-service teachers

This paper presents an evaluation study of an innovative and theory-based initial teacher education course entitled Learning Study, the aim of which is to develop the instructional design and teaching competency of pre-service teachers in Hong Kong. The Learning Study course is offered to all second year students as part of the Bachelor of Education programme of the biggest teacher education institute in Hong Kong. The course comprises a series of theory-based tutorials, supportive consultation meetings, and a research lesson practicum. To assess the effectiveness of the course, a framework of representation, decomposition, and approximation of practices was adopted to describe and analyse the teaching of practice. A total of 341 pre-service teachers participated in a quasi-experimental design questionnaire survey. A structural equation model was applied to explore the relationship between the activities of their learning process and their learning outcomes. Theory-based tutorials, consultative support, and research practicums are confirmed to be the predictors of learning outcomes which include instructional design skills, teaching competency, and clinical experience. This paper proposes Learning Study as a model to help pre-service teachers develop their instructional design skills and teaching competency.     

电大开放教育计算机基础课程面授辅导分层教学构想

为提高电大开放教育计算机基础课程面授辅导教学水平,使学生真正受益,文章从目前电大开放教育计算机基础课程的教育地位及现状入手,分析了电大开放教育计算机基础课程教学中存在的问题和不足,提出了电大开放教育计算机基础课程面授辅导实施分层教学的改革措施。     

How Levels of Interactivity in Tutorials Affect Students' Learning of Modeling Transportation Problems in a Spreadsheet

Do students learn to model OR/MS problems better by using computer‐based interactive tutorials and, if so, does increased interactivity in the tutorials lead to better learning? In order to determine the effect of different levels of interactivity on student learning, we used screen capture technology to design interactive support materials for modeling and solving the transportation problem in a spreadsheet. A controlled experiment was carried out and the results indicate a general support for the effectiveness of interactive tutorials in enhancing students’ learning of modeling concepts. However, the study also found that excessive interactivity increased the cognitive load for the students and hindered their learning by making it difficult for them to consolidate concepts, integrate previous knowledge, and create meaningful mental models of the process.

本文在分析课程教学意图与学生实际情况的基础上，对网上课堂的构建和《市场营销学》网络课程设计、面授辅导课的安排以及形成性考核等方面进行了教学模式改革与创新，力求为学生量身定做课程教学设计．并通过整合教学资源，教会学生自主学习的方法。
