A new empirical correlation has been presented for the effect of entrainment on distillation tray efficiency based on the results of numerical solution given by Lockett,et al.The calculated results are in good agreement with those of the numerical solution given by Lockett,et al.The average deviation is 1.14% and the maximum deviation is 4.76% for the ranges of 0相似文献

A novel nano-TiO2-xNx composite was used as photocatalyst and added to the interior wall paint. The average diameter of nano-TiO2-xNx was about 20 nm. The majority crystal component of the sample was anatase and its optical absorption edge was shifted from 387 nm to 520 nm significantly. Nano-composite paint containing different dosage of nano- TiO2-xNx was investigated to study the properties of formaldehyde decomposition in the air. Testing results show that the formaldehyde decomposition ratio of that nano-paint can almost reach above 80%, especially for that of the paint containing 3% (w/w) nano-TiO2-xNx which exceeded 90%. The primary investigation on the reaction kinetics of photocatalytic formaldehyde decomposition indicated that the experiment data well fit the model of first-order reaction kinetics.  相似文献

The accumulation of thermal time usually represents the local heat resources to drive crop growth.Maps of temperature-based agro-meteorological indices are commonly generated by the spatial interpolation of data collected from meteorological stations with coarse geographic continuity.To solve the critical problems of estimating air temperature(T a) and filling in missing pixels due to cloudy and low-quality images in growing degree days(GDDs) calculation from remotely sensed data,a novel spatio-temporal algorithm for T a estimation from Terra and Aqua moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer(MODIS) data was proposed.This is a preliminary study to calculate heat accumulation,expressed in accumulative growing degree days(AGDDs) above 10 ℃,from reconstructed T a based on MODIS land surface temperature(LST) data.The verification results of maximum T a,minimum T a,GDD,and AGDD from MODIS-derived data to meteorological calculation were all satisfied with high correlations over 0.01 significant levels.Overall,MODIS-derived AGDD was slightly underestimated with almost 10% relative error.However,the feasibility of employing AGDD anomaly maps to characterize the 2001-2010 spatio-temporal variability of heat accumulation and estimating the 2011 heat accumulation distribution using only MODIS data was finally demonstrated in the current paper.Our study may supply a novel way to calculate AGDD in heat-related study concerning crop growth monitoring,agricultural climatic regionalization,and agro-meteorological disaster detection at the regional scale.  相似文献

This paper presents ak-ε-k p multi-fluid model for simulating confined swirling gas-solid two phase jet comprised of particle-laden flow from a center tube and a swirling air stream entering the test section from the coaxial annular. A series of numerical simulations of the two-phase flow of 30 μm, 45 μm, 60 μm diameter particles respectively yielded results fitting well with published experimental data. A novel metallo-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) technique has been applied to the preparation of the photocatalytic titanium dioxide supported on activated carbon. The effects of various condition parameters such as carrier gas flow rate, source temperature and deposition temperature on the deposition rate were investigated. The maximum deposition rate of 8.2 mg/(g·h) was obtained under conditions of carrier gas flow rate of 400 ml/min, source temperature of 423 K and deposition temperature of 913 K. The deposition rate followed Arrhenius behavior at temperature of 753 K to 913 K, corresponding to activation energy E a of 51.09 kJ/mol. TiO2 existed only in anatase phase when the deposition temperature was 773 K to 973 K. With increase of deposition temperature from 1073 K to 1273 K, the rutile content sharply increased from 7% to 70%. It was found that a deposition temperature of 773 K and a higher source temperature of 448 K resulted in finely dispersed TiO2 particles, which were mainly in the range of 10–20 nm. Sweetpotato starch thermal properties and its noodle quality were analyzed using a rapid predictive method based on near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). This method was established based on a total of 93 sweetpotato genotypes with diverse genetic background. Starch samples were scanned by NIRS and analyzed for quality properties by reference methods. Results of statistical modelling indicated that NIRS was reasonably accurate in predicting gelatinization onset temperature (To) (standard error of prediction SEP=2.014 ℃, coefficient of determination RSQ=0.85), gelatinization peak temperature (Tp) (SEP=-1.371 ℃, RSQ=0.89), gelatinization temperature range (Tr) (SEP=2.234 ℃, RSQ=0.86), and cooling resistance (CR) (SEP=0.528, RSQ=0.89). Gelatinization completion temperature (To), enthalpy of gelatinization (△H), cooling loss (CL) and swelling degree (SWD), were modelled less well with RSQ between 0.63 and 0.84. The present results suggested that the NIRS based method was sufficiently accurate and practical for routine analysis of sweetpotato starch and its noodle quality.  相似文献

The asymptotically distribution free (ADF) method is often used to estimate parameters or test models without a normal distribution assumption on variables, both in covariance structure analysis and in correlation structure analysis. However, little has been done to study the differences in behaviors of the ADF method in covariance versus correlation structure analysis. The behaviors of 3 test statistics frequently used to evaluate structural equation models with nonnormally distributed variables, χ2 test TAGLS and its small-sample variants TYB and TF(AGLS) were compared. Results showed that the ADF method in correlation structure analysis with test statistic TAGLS performs much better at small sample sizes than the corresponding test for covariance structures. In contrast, test statistics TYB and TF(AGLS) under the same conditions generally perform better with covariance structures than with correlation structures. It is proposed that excessively large and variable condition numbers of weight matrices are a cause of poor behavior of ADF test statistics in small samples, and results showed that these condition numbers are systematically increased with substantial increase in variance as sample size decreases. A hybrid two-stage flowshop scheduling problem was considered which involves m identical parallel machines at Stage 1 and a burn-in processor M at Stage 2, and the makespan was taken as the minimization objective. This scheduling problem is NP-hard in general. We divide it into eight subcases. Except for the following two subcases: (1) b≥ an, max{m, B} 〈 n; (2) a1 ≤ b ≤ an, m ≤ B 〈 n, for all other subcases, their NP-hardness was proved or pointed out, corresponding approximation algorithms were conducted and their worst-case performances were estimated. In all these approximation algorithms, the Multifit and PTAS algorithms were respectively used, as the jobs were scheduled in m identical parallel machines.  相似文献

Indium oxide nanocrystals with mesoporous structure were successfully synthesized by using triblock copolymer as a template, and characterized by thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimeter (TG-DSC), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and N2 adsorption. A high EO/PO ratio is thought to be the key point to prepare mesoporous In2O3. The results show that the average pore diameter of the products is 6 nm, the BET surface area is 54.78 m2/g, and the adsorbing pore volume is 0.345 cm3/g. After comparing with normal indium oxide nanoparticles by BET test, mesoporous indium oxide demonstrates a large difference in adsorbing pore volume and average pore diameters from normal ones. This article investigates likelihood-based difference statistics for testing nonlinear effects in structural equation modeling using the latent moderated structural equations (LMS) approach. In addition to the standard difference statistic TD, 2 robust statistics have been developed in the literature to ensure valid results under the conditions of nonnormality or small sample sizes: the robust TDR and the “strictly positive” TDRP. These robust statistics have not been examined in combination with LMS yet. In 2 Monte Carlo studies we investigate the performance of these methods for testing quadratic or interaction effects subject to different sources of nonnormality, nonnormality due to the nonlinear terms, and nonnormality due to the distribution of the predictor variables. The results indicate that TD is preferable to both TDR and TDRP. Under the condition of strong nonlinear effects and nonnormal predictors, TDR often produced negative differences and TDRP showed no desirable power.  相似文献

In this work we study the behaviour of the dielectric constant of BaTiO3 single crystals doped with Cu and Fe for different ion percentages, particularly, the influence of these hetemvalent substitutions on the ferroelectric-paraelectric phase transition whose temperature is found at Tc=120℃ for pure samples. The dielectric constant e in terms of temperature shows that the Curie temperature decreases when the quantity of impurities increases and presents a broadening and flattering of the maximum oft(T) within higher values, with the transition becoming more and more diffuse. It is interesting to have a material with very high permittivity (high-k) because of its capacity to store an important quantity of electric charges. The t anisotropy and the Curie-Weiss law are also verified with a good ratio between the slopes ofε^-l(T) from both sides of the transition, leading to a Curie constant: C= 13 × 10^4 K for BaTiO3:1.6%Fe in the polar phase. BaTiO3 is a displacive ferroelectric going through a first-order phase transition. The substitutions have an effect on the dynamics of the perovskite lattice. They induce charges transfer to Ti and a diminution of elastic forces in BaTiO3. Surface morphologies of Zr52.5 Al10 Ni10 Cu15 Be12.5 bulk metallic glass after being rolled at both a temperature around T9 and near ( Tx - 50) K were investigated with a scanning electron microscopy. Macroscopic and microscopic observation results show that squamae, cracks, steps and wedges exist on the surface when the samples were rolled at temperatures around Ty. However, a smooth and fiat surface appears when the samples were rolled at temperatures near ( Tx - 50) K. These results indicate that the mode of deformation in the supercooled liquid region is a partially homogeneous flow at a temperature around T9, and a fully homogeneous one at temperatures near ( Tx - 50) K. According to the results, it is more feasible to roll the amorphous alloys at temperatures near ( Tx - 50) K to obtain parts with smooth and fiat surface.  相似文献

A comparative study on the photosynthetic parameters among intergeneric progenies derived fromOryza sativa L.×Sorghum vulgare L., its maternal parent Gui 630 and commercial 3-line hybrid rice Shanyou 63 in pot experiment in greenhouse was conducted. The morphological and photosynthetic characters of canopy leaves and chlorophyll fluorescence kinetic parameters includingF v/F m,F v/F 0, photochemical quenching coefficient and non-photochemical coefficient of canopy leaves of 3 varieties were measured. The results showed the progeny, Yanyou 1, derived from an intergeneric cross of rice and sorghum possesses better canopy spatial architecture with thicker, heavier and bigger canopy leaf than its maternal parent Gui 630. Higher photosynthetic rate due to higher chlorophyll content, higher primary energy transformation efficiency, potential of PSII and non-photochemical quenching coefficient (q E) were also measured in Yuanyou 1. These explain partly why the intergeneric progeny has higher biomass production, and better tolerance to adverse conditions and higher field yields even under stress conditions.  相似文献

Drawing on self‐determination theory, a person‐centered methodology was adopted to identify distinct pupil profiles based on their psychological need satisfaction. A sample of 586 pupils (387 male, 199 female; mean age = 12.6, range 11–15 years old) from three secondary schools reported their psychological need satisfaction, and well‐ and ill‐being, with teachers rating pupil achievement. Hierarchical cluster analysis revealed five distinct profiles. Four profiles indicated synergy existed between the three needs, showing similar in‐group levels of satisfaction across the needs but in varying amounts. Univariate and multivariate analyses, controlling for school and taught subject, revealed the satisfied group displayed the highest classroom performance (F4,540 = 7.03; p < 0.001; ηp2 = 0.05), well‐being (F8,1,136 = 45.63; p < 0.001; Wilk's Λ = 0.57; ηp2 = 0.24) and lowest ill‐being (F8,1,134 = 23.39; p < 0.001; Wilk's Λ = 0.74, ηp2 = 0.14), whereas the dissatisfied group displayed the most adverse outcomes. The findings illustrate that the three psychological needs may operate interdependently and should be considered in combination rather than in isolation. The research offers practical insights into why pupils may function differently in classrooms and could inform targeted initiatives towards pupils with psychological need satisfaction deficits.  相似文献

Given a function f and an initial value a 1, we consider properties and representations of the iteration sequence a 1 , f(a 1 ), f(f(a 1 )),.... Because iteration sequences often cannot be expressed in explicit algebraic terms, there is an emphasis on using various graphical and numerical representations. An empirical investigation examined the influence of representations on the discovery of properties and on problem solving abilities for iteration sequences. A total of 79 students (11th graders) and 22 secondary mathematics teachers participated. The empirical study was implemented with a computer program, developed by the author.  相似文献

A new model was developed to describe the diffusion limitation on free radical polyme-rization. In this model the termination rate coefficient (k t) and propagation rate coefficient (k p) were expressed as a function of bulk viscosity (η). This model was used to simulate the batch thermal polymerization of styrene (St) and the continuous thermal bulk copolymerization of St (monomer 1) and maleic anhydride (MAH, monomer 2) in a CSTR with on-line monitor of the rheological behavior. The simulated results on polymerization conversion, copolymer composition, molecular weight and its distributions were compared with the experimental data, and the results calculated by two previous gel-effect models i.e. Martin-Hamielec and Tulig-Tirrell models. It was found that the present model produces better prediction than that of the Tulig-Tirrell model and has the same accuracy as that of the Martin-Hamielec model, but is much simpler.
