对大学英语分级教学的思考

高校扩招以来,学生大幅增加,英语教学由于学生成绩的参差不齐出现了极其困难的局面,为了解决部分学生“吃不饱“、部分学生“吃不了“的问题,我们进行了英语分级教学改革,这种改革是否可行?是否符合改革的初衷?从改革的背景、理论依据入手,阐述了改革的具体措施,分析了改革的成效和存在的问题.

“卡内基教育博士改革行动”的精髓为:“教育博士”新概念、六大指导原则和四大改革议题.基于学生认知评价视角的“卡内基教育博士改革行动”成效调查旨在了解:变革后的教育博士项目是否符合“卡内基教育博士改革行动”的新概念和基本原则,变革后的教育博士项目其教与学的方式是否符合“卡内基教育博士改革行动”的改革议题,教育博士生是否视自己为“专业领域的实践者”或“应用研究型人才”,学生追求教育博士学位的动机何在.调查结果表明,教育博士项目由于“卡内基教育博士改革行动”的推动发生了新变化,改革成效得到学生普遍认可,重构的教育博士项目与学生的价值诉求基本相符.
