试论郭象哲学思想的性质和地位

郭象字子玄,生于公元252年(魏嘉平4年),死于公元312年(晋永嘉6年),稍后于嵇康、向秀等“竹林七贤”,而约略与裴頠同时。主要著作是《庄子注》(一说系对向秀的《庄子注》的增改)。就书论书,《庄子注》达到了魏晋玄学的最高水平,绝不是简单地重复王弼,拾“贵无”论者的牙慧。一、问题的提出     

于无声处听惊雷——谈谈向秀的《思旧赋》

向秀(227—277),字子期,河南内怀(今河南武陟县西南)人。他是魏晋之际的文学家,“竹林七贤”之一。好老、庄,曾注《庄子》,“发明奇趣”,但未完成而去世,后由郭锡“述而广之”。现存《庄子注》,可视为向秀、郭象二人合作完成的。向秀还擅长诗赋,但作品多已散佚,流传至今的只有《思旧赋》和《难嵇康养生论》二篇。《思旧赋》是他为悼念自己的好友稽康和吕安而写作的,此二人又均被司马集团所寄。向秀与稽康志趣相投,友情笃厚,《晋书.向秀传》记载他打算注《庄子》,“稽康曰:‘此书讵复须注,正是妨人作乐耳!’及成,示康曰:‘殊复胜     

向秀《庄子注》哲意发微——兼论《庄子》向郭二注的异同

向秀的《庄子注》应作于竹林时期,它以宇宙本体的不生不化和万物的自生自化思想为依据,强调圣人的无作无为,突出万物的个性,带有明显的个性解放色彩,在情感基调上与嵇康的“自然论”思想可谓如出一辙。长期以来我们所以一直将它与郭象的《庄子注》夹缠在一起,弄不清二者的同与异,除了它的严重散佚外,对它的撰写时间以及向秀《难养生论》的双簧性质一直迟迟未能给予认定,无疑也是其中一个十分重要的原因。     

浅谈郭象《庄子注》“自生”的概念

郭象是魏晋玄学的集大成者,其《庄子注》是借注解《庄子》来表达自家之意,是对《庄子》文本的创造性诠释。《庄子注》中的"自生"概念是理解郭象思想很关键的一步。本文通过对道家以前"自生"概念的梳理,进而发掘出郭象对"自生"概念的独特理解以及其哲学内涵。郭象将老庄哲学中的宇宙生成论创造性地诠释为自生独化论,改变了道家一直以来以道为本的哲学,将一切都还原成万物自生独化的过程,批判地继承并且发展老庄哲学的思想,对于后世研究道家思想发展具有重要的示范作用。     

从郭象《庄子注》看魏晋玄学与老庄的分野

郭象是魏晋玄学的主要代表人物之一,其《庄子注》对《庄子》的传世贡献极大。郭象总结了魏晋时期数十家学者的研究成果,把庄学发展成为了一门显学,但他的注释在不少地方体现的是儒家的进步精神,背离了老庄思想。郭象《庄子注》在对待现有等级制度、隐者的态度、治国的看法,以及对待孔子和仁义的态度等方面,都与老庄思想有明显差异。之所以会出现这样的不同,与郭象的处世态度、郭象所处时代背景都有很大关系。

郭象(252-312),字子玄,魏晋时期著名玄学思想家.“自性”是郭象哲学的一个基本范畴,本文试对“自性”范畴的思想来源、理论内涵及哲学意义作一系统分析评述.“自性”,也称“性”、“性命”、“性分”,作为一个基本范畴,在郭象哲学中占有极重要的地位.翻开郭象的《庄子注》可以看到,他用以解释、说明、论证“自性”范畴的注文,达近百条之多,散见于《庄子》内外杂近20篇文章的注释中.郭象认为,庄子哲学的核心之一就是“序万物之性”、“明性分之适”.由此可见,“自性”是庄子哲学的重要论题,更是郭象哲学的基本范畴.     

郭象对《庄子》的“误读”

在源远流长的中国经典诠释传统中,郭象的《庄子注》以其创造性的"误读"展现了与众不同的诠释进路。郭象之"误读"源自魏晋特殊的历史情境,是郭象在理解庄子原意下作出的另类解释,其中涉及对《庄子》中"小大之辩""逍遥之义""自然之性"等问题的探讨,且扩充了庄子哲学的"性""逍遥""自然"等概念范畴,进而成为中国古代创造性诠释经典的典型范式。

郭象《庄子注》对“逍遥游”概念的阐释与《庄子》“逍遥游”本意有诸多差异.郭象《逍遥游》篇注文中,这种差异尤为明显.郭象的“逍遥”观是“足性逍遥”,而《庄子》“逍遥”的本意则是“超越逍遥”.二者具体差异表现在:“小大之辩”与“足性则物齐”、“有待”与“无待”、“足性”与“超越”三方面.通过探究郭象“足性逍遥”观提出的社会历史背景与学术发展的内在原因,可以发现郭象作出这一重新阐释的真正目的在于调和自然与名教的矛盾,为名教寻求合理性,维护现存统治与社会稳定.
