英语阅读成功者和不成功者推测策略研究

运用定量研究的方法,考察了英语阅读成功者和不成功者在英语阅读推测策略使用上的差异。研究结果表明,英语阅读推测策略和英语阅读成绩具有正相关的线性关系;英语阅读成功者和英语阅读不成功者在英语阅读推测策略的使用上存在显著差异。     

英语阅读策略使用与阅读能力强弱关系

基于英语学习策略理论,作者对学生的英语阅读策略进行了调查,分析阅读策略的使用情况和英语阅读能力之间的强弱关系,分项讨论认知策略、元认知策略、补偿策略等对阅读能力的影响,从而更好地利用各种阅读策略指导英语阅读教学.     

高职学生英语阅读元认知策略使用的调查研究

根据O＇Malley和Chamot的元认知策略理论,通过元认知阅读策略问卷,本研究探讨了高职高专学生英语阅读元认知策略的使用情况及元认知策略与英语阅读理解水平的关系。结果显示高职高专学生英语阅读元认知策略水平总体较低,而元认知策略的运用与英语阅读水平呈显著正相关,并指明元认知策略对高职高专英语阅读教学的指导意义。     

网络环境下大学英语阅读策略训练的实验研究

文章采用英语阅读测试和英语阅读策略问卷调查的方式考察网络环境下英语阅读策略训练对学生阅读理解水平的影响。对实验组受试进行一个学期的网络环境下英语阅读策略训练后,数据分析结果表明,这种训练不但可以增强学生对阅读策略的使用频率,而且可以提高学生的阅读理解水平。

充分利用教材,提高职校学生运用英语阅读策略的能力

英语阅读一直是英语教学的重中之重,而阅读策略的运用对于提高学生英语阅读的实效有着举足轻重的作用。职业学校的学生在运用策略进行英语阅读方面有诸多问题。该文基于在某职校开展的一个阶段的英语阅读策略行动研究,发现充分利用教材文本,注重对学生英语阅读策略的培养,能在一定程度上激发学生学习英语的兴趣,从而提高学生的英语阅读能力,同时也促进了教师自身的专业发展。     

初中生英语阅读策略的调查研究

本文通过对191名初中生英语阅读策略的调查,试图了解初中生的英语阅读策略的总体使用情况,并比较了英语成绩优差者的英语阅读策略使用的差异。研究发现:(1)从总体来看,初中生运用英语阅读策略的频率不高,他们只是有时使用英语阅读策略。(2)优差生在元认知和认知策略方面都存在差异,其中元认知策略、自我监控策略、翻译策略存在极其显著差异。本调查结果对初中英语教育教学实践有一定的启示。     

高职英语专业学生英语阅读元认知策略应用现状调查研究

根据O ＇Mally和Chamot的元认知策略理论框架,采用英语阅读元认知策略问卷调查、阅读测试和访谈的方式,探讨了高职英语专业学生元认知策略应用现状以及元认知策略与英语阅读的关系。数据分析结果表明,高职英语专业学生在英语阅读中元认知策略使用总体属于中等水平,使用最多的是选择注意策略,使用最少的是评估策略。在元认知策略使用频率方面,阅读高分者与阅读低分者间存在显著差异,元认知策略与英语阅读间存在显著相关性。     

Use of English Reading Strategies by Science-oriented College Students in Relation to Gender Difference

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of English reading strategies by the science-oriented college students in relation to their genders. The participants were 401 first year science-oriented college students. A reading questionnaire was used to collect the data. The results showed that the male and female students existed significantly difference in reading strategy use, with female students employed reading strategies significantly more frequently than did the male students.     

新疆少数民族大学生英语阅读策略调查

文章运用问卷和定量研究方法,调查了新疆少数民族大学生的英语阅读观念及策略,探讨了英语四级高分组和低分组学生的阅读观念和阅读策略。统计分析表明:就整体而言,被调查的少数民族大学生的英语阅读策略使用频率处于中等偏下水平;在所调查的四大类策略中,情感策略的使用频率最高,元认知策略最低;男女生在策略使用频率上不存在显著性差异;四级成绩高分组和低分组的阅读技巧和阅读习惯等方面在使用频率上也没有显著性差异,但高分组在策略运用的针对性、有效性和连续性方面好于低分组。     

An Investigation of English Reading Strategies among Art majors in Hubei University ZhiXing College

Many researches have proven that reading strategies play a vital role in English reading processes and have a crucial influence on reading results. However, at present there are few studies focused on art major students’ reading strategy use status quo, especially the researches on art major students in independent college are fewer. This thesis based on the existing reading strategy research, tries to discuss the characteristics of art major students’ English reading strategy use and further analyzes the factors that influence the choosing of reading strategies among art major students in Hubei University Zhixing College which is an independent college in Wuhan city Hubei Province.Based on the investigation results and survey results of the interview, this thesis presents some reading strategy teaching strategies for improving English language reading strategy teaching:     

听力障碍学生阅读策略问卷的编制及初步应用

从阅读策略和学习策略的关系出发,结合我国听障学生的阅读实际编制了听力障碍学生阅读策略问卷,进行了信度、效度检验,并对359名听障学生的阅读策略特点进行了初步考察。研究发现听障学生阅读中策略运用的整体水平偏低,大多数学生在阅读过程中不善于使用阅读策略;不同年级听障学生在阅读策略的运用方面存在差异,大学阶段学生明显优于高中阶段和初中阶段学生,高中阶段是听障学生阅读策略发展的关键时期;听障女生阅读策略运用的总体水平优于听障男生。     

Reading Across the Curriculum at an Urban Community College: Student and Faculty Perspectives on Reading

Research indicates that there has been a decline in college reading over the past decades, yet few studies have been conducted at community colleges. The aim of this exploratory study was to gain a broad view of what reading across the curriculum looks like at one urban community college from the perspectives of students and faculty. A survey was administered to students to gather information on their reading practices, beliefs, and attitudes. A second survey was distributed to full-time faculty to gather information on assignments, practices, and beliefs regarding reading. Findings indicate that many students do not complete assigned readings. Further, women students spend more time on reading and attend class more often having completed assigned reading than men. There are discrepancies between students’ and faculty’s assessments of students’ reading abilities, whether reading is essential to course success and between the kinds of readings commonly assigned and those students enjoy reading. The study identified areas for further research on reading in community college including the relationship between gender, reading compliance, and community college outcomes; the effectiveness of reading compliance strategies; the relationship between PowerPoint use and student reading; and students’ use of active reading strategies. The findings also point out the need for pedagogical innovation in the teaching of reading in community college, namely through the implementation of reading across the curriculum programs.     

阅读预期对不同阅读策略特点聋人大学生快速阅读影响的眼动研究

以聋人大学生为被试,采用眼动追踪技术,考察了阅读提示对不同类型聋入学生自然阅读和快速阅读的影响.结果表明,不同阅读策略运用倾向的聋人学生在阅读过程中表现出不同的眼动模式.高阅读策略运用组学生对阅读材料的注视次数少、眼跳距离大,而且回视次数也少;较之低策略组聋人学生,高策略组学生被试表现出更强的对阅读材料的预期推理能力(自上而下加工的能力);阅读预期是影响快速阅读的重要因素和变量之一.     

高职学生的英汉阅读策略迁移情况研究

对高职学生英汉阅读策略的使用情况进行了调查研究。研究结果显示：高职学生在汉语阅读中通常使用基于语篇的阅读策略,在英语阅读中通常使用基于单词的阅读策略;高职学生在阅读过程中存在阅读策略的迁移,基于句子的阅读策略迁移较弱,而基于语篇和单词的阅读策略迁移较强。     

贵州省高职学生阅读现状调查研究

文章在调查并分析贵州高职学生阅读现状和影响因素的基础上,从营造书香环境、提升书香服务能力、开展经典和专业阅读推广三方面提出贵州高职图书馆阅读推广策略,以期引导和培养贵州高职学生阅读习惯,不断提高贵州高职学生的文化和专业素养。     

关于元认知在非英语专业学生英语阅读教学中的几点认识

元认知理论为提高非英语专业学生英语阅读能力提供了新视角.在英语教学中,教师应注意让学生的元认知知识全面发展,引导学生将元认知知识运用到实际的阅读活动中去,激发学习动机,提高英语阅读水平.
