动漫公益广告中多模态隐喻探析

多模态隐喻是多模态化时代的产物,多模态隐喻研究日渐兴起。本研究基于多模态隐喻的概念和优势,对一则动漫公益广告中的多模态隐喻进行分析,力图回答两个问题:(1)这则广告中存在哪些多模态隐喻?(2)这些多模态隐喻是如何通过不同的模态呈现的?研究发现,广告中的图像模态,语言模态和声音模态协同作用来完成多模态的呈现,由此实现更好地广告效果。

本文基于第三届"外教社杯"全国大学英语教学大赛前三名获奖者的课堂导入话语进行语料分析,旨在找到优秀老师多模态课堂导入话语的共性,以期为广大英语老师提供借鉴和参考。分析发现,优秀老师在课堂导入环节主要采用口语模态、PPT组合模态、体势模态和情景模态等多模态话语的组合形式,各个模态之间协同组合,体现了对交际语境的顺应。

专门用途英语教学多模态框架建构与实证研究

在分析多模态教学研究原理的基础之上,文章提出专门用途英语(商务英语)教学多模态框架,其中包括听觉模态、视觉模态、触觉模态以及文化模态之间的协作与互补,同时裹挟教师多模态教学因素、学生多模态学习因素和学科因素.根据对100名学生为期一年的实证研究,证明商务英语多模态教学能够有效地促进学生在商务场景下语言综合能力的提升.

基于多模态隐喻理论及理想化认知模型对香奈儿5号香水广告进行多模态隐喻分析,提出两个问题:1.香奈儿5号香水广告中有哪些多模态隐喻?2.该广告中的各模态是如何互动来构建隐喻意义的?可以发现,该广告中概念隐喻"爱情是一场旅行"贯穿始终,但是该隐喻最终服务于隐喻"拥有香奈儿5号香水就是拥有真爱";另外,在该广告中,多模态隐喻意义主要由视觉、听觉、嗅觉及语言模态来呈现。
