翻译能力是英语语言能力的基本组成部分与重要体现,翻译水平的提高有赖于译者对两种语言差异的熟稔程度及对语言驾驭能力。目前高职英语翻译教学都以教授翻译技巧为主,忽视培养学生对英汉两种语言的文化及思维差异的理解及在翻译实践中的应用,往往收效甚微。本文作者以英汉对比方法为视角,对英汉两种语言思维差异在翻译上的折射进行归纳及梳理,并认为英汉对比应贯穿于英汉互译教学的始末,在英语翻译教学中发挥积极的作用。
