论罗素自由教育思想及其当代启示

伯特兰·罗素是20世纪英国著名哲学家、数学家和人道主义者,同时也是一位重要的教育思想家和活动家。自由教育是罗素教育思想的核心,其目的是培养活力、勇敢、敏感和理智,其原则是强调自由与纪律权威并重,其诉求是尊重人的个性发展。罗素的自由教育思想不仅在英国教育史上占有重要地位,对当今我国教育改革也有指导作用。     

当代中国数学家对数学教育内容创新的贡献

当代中国有一大批数学家关心数学教育.数学家关心数学教育,主要有几种形式:一是关注中小学数学教育与课程改革;二是主持编写中小学数学教材;三是开展数学普及工作与科普创作.与其他数学家不同的是,张景中、徐利治两位数学家在数学教育的内容创新方面作出了重要贡献,无论是张景中开创的"教育数学",还是徐利治在国内首倡的"数学方法论",都对当代中国的数学教育产生了重要影响.     

人民教师职业的本性是为他的

社会主义社会中,一切职业都是为人民服务的。教师这一职业也不例外,只是它有它的特殊性。因为教师是把学生培养成材,通过学生达到建设社会主义的目的的,所以是为他人的。 在旧社会,从形式上看,教师处于剥削和被剥削的关系之外,他不剥削人,也不被人剥削,因此,把教师称为自由职业。从内容上看,统治阶级总是利用他们掌握的国家机器,垄断知识,垄断教育事业,为教育制定方针和政策,规定教育的目的、制度,选择教育的内容等。因而教师的职业和剥削阶级不能绝对说没有联系,自由何在?自由只是形式上的自由,而内容上是不自由的。因此,一切“超阶级”、“超政治”的教育是不存在的。     

中国数学文化发展与数学文化学构建

数学文化的研究与教学是中国数学教育最近二三十年内发展最快、普及最广的学科.在中国数学文化发展的历程中,相关数学家的数学方法论研究、数学文化史研究和数学教育改革与数学教育理论研究成为数学文化研究兴起的3个侧面.数学文化研究对研究者从文化传统层面重新审视西方数学,对中国数学史的研究和中国数学教育改革都产生了重要的影响."数学文化学"的构建应围绕数学文化研究范畴的界定、理论追求和方法论等方面.
