Nowadays,cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries have become increasingly frequent,which boosts the development of film industry and highlights the importance of subtitle translation.However,in China,subtitling is a relatively new research field of translation.This study explores the guiding role of domestication and foreignization strategies in English film subtitle translation.On the basis of material from Ice Age,the paper carries on the analysis of film subtitle translation in terms of expressions with typical cultural features and idiomsproverbs under the effective guidance of domestication and foreignization translation strategies.It’s concluded that domestication and foreignization strategies can provide theoretical guidance for subtitling and appropriate combination of the two strategies can achieve better translation effects.  相似文献

In recent years,foreign films have been introduced into China,which have a tremendous impact on people’s social life.As a major tool for obtaining information and enjoying entertainment,film subtitle translation is becoming increasingly important.Meanwhile,the English level and appreciation ability of domestic audience is continuously improving with the change of the times,and their demand and requirement for subtitle translation are also improving.Nowadays,there are still many immature parts in sub?title translation,and the theory in China is relatively deficient.Therefore,the subtitle translation level of film needs to be rose.The translator constantly improves the translation ability by using translation theories and skills.Based on the theory of functional equiv?alence,this thesis translates the subtitle of the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing,Missouri.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces the development of the film subtitle translation and the film.Secondly,it introduces the translation theories and skills applied in translation practice,making a particular analysis in combination with specific practical cases.Finally,the translator makes a sum?mary for the translation process.The translator hopes that through the translation practice,some attempts can be made for future re?search in subtitle translation.  相似文献

Based on the framework of Halliday’s theory of interpersonal function, this study intends to analyze the dialogues in the film The King’s Speech from the three aspects of mood type, modal operator and vocative address by adopting both quantitative and qualitative methods. The technique of non-stationary oll film force database for hydrodynamic bearing is introduced and its potential applications in nonlinear rotor-dynamics are demonstrated.Through simulations of the locus of the shaft center aided by the database technique,nonlinear stability analysis can be performed and the natural frequency can be obtained as well.The easiness of “assembling” the individual bush forces from the database to form the bearing force.makes it very convenient to evaluate the stability of various types of journal bearings,Examples are demonstrated to show how the database technique makes it possible to get technically abundant simulation results at the expense of very short calculation time.  相似文献

To study the mechanical properties of the film/substrate structure, the finite element code ABAQUS v6.9-1 is adopted to simulate the tensile mechanical behavior of the nanoscale thin film bonded to a substrate. The bifurcation phenomenon of the structure under uniaxial tension is found: the single-neck deformation, the multiple-neck deformation and the uniform deformation. The substrate and the film are regarded as power-hardening materials obeying the J 2 deformation theory. Firstly, the influence of material hardening match on tensile bifurcation mode is analyzed under perfectly well-bonded interface condition. Then, the effects of interfacial stiffness and other superficial defects surrounding the imperfection on bifurcation mode are investigated. It is concluded that under the well-bonded interface condition, if the stress of the substrate is larger than the film, the film will uniformly deform with the substrate; if the stress of the substrate is smaller than the film, the film will form a single neck, except the case that a weakly-hardening film is bonded to a steeply-hardening substrate when multiple necks can be formed. With the decrease of interfacial stiffness, the uniform deformation mode can transform into the multiple-neck deformation mode, and further transform into the single-neck deformation mode. And other defects surrounding the imperfection can influence the wavelength of deformation and neck number.  相似文献

The evolution of the surface oxide film along the depth direction of typical aluminum alloy under medium-temperature brazing was investigated by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). For the alloy with Mg content below 2.0wt%, whether under cold rolling condition or during medium-temperature brazing process, the en-richment of Mg element on the surface was not detected and the oxide film was pure Al2O3. However, the oxide film grew obviously during medium-temperature brazing process, and the thickness was about 80 nm. For the alloy with Mg content above 2.0wt%, under cold rolling condition, the original surface oxide film was pure Al2O3. However, the Mg element was significantly enriched on the outermost surface during medium-temperature brazing process, and MgO-based oxide film mixed with small amount of MgAl2O4 was formed with a thickness of about 130 nm. The alloy-ing elements of Mn and Si were not enriched on the surface neither under cold rolling condition nor during medium-temperature brazing process for all the selected aluminum alloy, and the surface oxide film was similar to that of pure aluminum, which was almost entire Al2O3.  相似文献

The purpose of this work was to enhance the corrosion resistance of the passive film on 304 stainless steel(SS) by chemical modification in alkaline phosphate–molybdate solutions. The 304 SS was passivated in both phosphate and phosphate–molybdate mixed solutions to investigate the effect of molybdate on its corrosion resistance. The experimental results indicated that the passive film showed better corrosion resistance in Cl--containing solutions after modification in phosphate–molybdate solutions than in phosphate-only solutions. Energy-dispersive spectroscopy analyses revealed that the passive film formed in phosphate–molybdate solutions contained Mo and P after modification, which is the reason for the enhanced corrosion resistance.  相似文献

Passivity degradation of 304 stainless steel(SS) in simulated alkaline water chemistries at 300℃ was investigated using polarization curve, scanning electron microscope, time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(SIMS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). Experimental results indicated that 304,SS was selfpassive in the test solution and the thickness of passive film was about 500 nm. Hydroxide was enriched in the outer layer whereas oxide was enriched in the inner layer. Sulfur in thiosulfate could be reduced into lower valence of sulfur and enter the passive film so that the composition of passive film was modified by sulfur. Fe and Cr were enriched in the passive film whereas Ni was depleted in the passive film.  相似文献

Surface wave dynamics of falling film on the surface of periodic rectangular wall under monochromatic-frequency flowrate forcing disturbances is studied via numerical simulation. Waveforms formed on the periodic rectangular wall are different from those on the flat plate. At low frequency, the perturbation introduced at the inlet first undergoes a steady flow region and then develops into solitary waves. When the frequency becomes higher, solitary waves disappear. Film deformations in the steady flow region and characteristics of solitary waves are studied as the film travels down. There are circulations at the depression of periodic wall which are dependent on the local film characteristics and geometry of the corrugation. Moreover, the flow rate and geometry of the corrugations can also affect the evolvement of the monochromatic perturbation.  相似文献

The trajectory model of dispersed phase drops and distribution model of drop diameters were derived.By numerical simulation,the analytical results indicate that a large number of dispersed phase drops accumulate on the upper plate in different directions and form a hydrodynamic area with the stream-wise location in the range of 0—0.4m,where the flow of trickling film obtains kinetic drive from flowing field.The flowing field of trickling film exhibits an unstable state if the stream-wise location is less than 0.02m,and a stable state otherwise.Moreover,different velocity vectors of drops in the x-y plane result in different interactions between the trickling film and drops.For the non-uniform distribution of drop diameters,there is a stronger interaction between the trickling film and drop if the stream-wise location is less than 0.02m,because the amplitudes of velocity vectors are higher than those in the range of 0.02—1.0m.The result reveals a complexity and diversity of stratified two-phase flowing field.On the other hand,both the basic flowing field and distributions of drop diameters have a great influence on the distributions of comparable kinetic energy of drops.The complicated motions of larger drops are helpful to coalescence because they will consume much more kinetic energy on the trickling film than those of smaller drops.The change of comparable kinetic energy of smaller drops is continuous and steady.The smaller drops are easily entrained by the liquid-liquid flowing field.  相似文献

As a method of bridging language and culture, translation has played a significant part in connecting the ideas of people all over the world and accelerating the communication in politics, economy, culture, education, science and technology. China has increased cultural exchanges with many other countries, and a great number of foreign films have flooded into our country. Thus, how to appropriately translate the foreign films becomes an urgent issue. In the process of translating English films to Chinese ones, the translator should use a method to attend to the content of the movie itself, especially recreational artistic features, as well as tremendous differences between English language and Chinese language culture. This paper attempts to compare the different film versions of Pride and Prejudice (edition 1995), and analyzes the examples of literal translation and free translation in order to reveal the difficulty of which translation method to choose in film translation. Thus, based on the comparison, we could get a tentative result that which kind of film version is more accepted by most audiences so that we can provide the film translators some new train of thought.  相似文献

A mathematic model of two-phase flow and a physical model of two-dimensional (2D) vertical section for the plate-type structured packing Mellapak 250.Y were set up and verified. The models were used to study the influence of packing’s surface microstructure on the continuity of liquid film and the amount of liquid holdup. Simulation results show that the round corner shape and micro wavy structure are favorable in remaining the continuity of liquid film and increasing the amount of liquid holdup. The appropriate liquid flow rate was determined by investigating different liquid loadings to obtain an unbroken liquid film on the packing surface. The pressure difference between inlet and outlet for gas phase allowed gas and liquid to flow countercurrently in a 2D computational domain. The direction change of gas flow occurred near the phase interface area.  相似文献

Phenolic formaldehyde(PF)and epoxy(EP)resins are commonly used in electronic packaging. In this paper, high-ohmic resistors(2.2 M?, ±0.5%,)with Cr-Si film were coated by PF/EP paint, and the resulting coated resistors were used for heat and humid(HH)experiments. The experimental results show that the corrosion of bandlike resistive films is selective and isotropic, and that the corrosion spots in resistive films all form along grooves and extend in the same direction. It is revealed that OH~- ions are generated due to the electrochemical reactions of resistive film in HH experiments, so a NaOH aqueous solution with pH about 10 was used to study the effects of absorbed water and OH~- ions on PF/EP polymer film. The results indicates that the color of some part on PF/EP polymer film changes due to corrosion, and that the corrosion part of the polymer film is easy to be peeled off. It can be inferred that OH~- ions generated in HH experiments may play a catalytic role in the chemical reactions between polymer film and the absorbed water, which accelerates the degradation of PF/EP protection film for a resistor.  相似文献

A novel reversible photochromic nanocomposite film based on a hybrid inorganic-organic matrix in which heteropolyacid H4SiW12O40 (SiWA) was entrapped in Si-O-Ti network was prepared. Structure, photochromic behaviors and mechanism of the film were investigated by means of infrared spectroscopy (IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) absorption spectra and electron spin resonance (ESR). The results showed that heteropolyanion i.e. SiW12O^4- 40 (SiW12), maintained a Keggin structure in the film and there was a strong interaction between anion SiW12 and cation R-NH^+3 (R=link of hybrid composite). The photochromic properties of the composite film originated from reversible charge transfer between the anions and cations. Under UV irradiation, the anion would be reduced via one-electron step with simultaneous oxidation of the cation, accompanied by a color change from colorless to blue. Bleaching could occur when the film was in contact with ambient air or 02 in the dark.  相似文献
