大学生KAB创业基础课程教学改革研究

大学生Know About Business创业基础课（简称KAB）是当前高校开展创新创业教育的重要载体,课程建设发展过程中围绕课程内在制度、师资队伍优化、教学内容升级方面的困境。笔者采用综合分析法调研了课程的现状与问题,并从组织模式改革、内在模块改革、考评体系改革、联合教学改革四个维度提出了分散转向集中、体系转向专题、定性转向定量、个体转向团队的优化路径。     

哈佛大学博克教学和学习中心——美国大学教师发展机构的标杆

哈佛大学博克教学和学习中心是美国最早的教师发展和教学促进中心之一。自创建以来,博克中心致力于哈佛大学全体教师与研究生助教教学水平的提升,中心的活动主要是支持课堂教学和教学评价,采取个体辅导、工作坊、习明纳等多种形式以满足教师的多元化需求。博克中心还开展与教学相关的研究,出版的研究成果直接服务于教师教学,具有较高的应用价值。博克中心成为美国大学教师发展机构的一个标杆。     

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE ILLINOIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM

In a time of declining resources and restricted faculty mobility, faculty mobility, faculty development has become increasingly important. This study addressed faculty development activities, their evaluation, and their perceived impact on the improvement of instruction in the community colleges of Illinois. Data gathered through the use of a questionnaire mailed to the chief academic officer of each of the state's community colleges were analyzed and interpreted. It was found that a wide variety of activities — orientation, inservice, professional, individual, and group — are available to faculty members. Orientation activities were viewed as being moderately useful for the improvement of instruction. Respondents saw professional activities as somewhat more useful than inservice activities. With some qualifications, group activities were perceived as being more useful than individual activities. Evaluation efforts, for the most part, are as yet sporadic and unsophisticated.

The results of this study suggest that perhaps the traditional inservice‐type activities may not be the “one best way” to deliver quality faculty development aimed at the improvement of instruction. Faculty‐development planners may want to examine more closely the needs of their faculty in relation to the activities available. In addition to continuing the most useful of the group and inservice activities, attention should be directed toward those individual and professional activities not frequently offered but rated as highly effective in improving instruction.     

市校共建院校工业分析与检验专业专科人才培养模式研究

对市校共建工业分析与检验专业专科人才培养模式进行了研究。通过建立适应地方经济发展特色的专科培养方案、构建校企合作人才培养模式、加强师资队伍建设和实验教学改革可以不断提高专科人才培养质量。     

提高高职院校教学质量路径研究——基于生态学理念

本文借鉴生态学中能量流动的原理及理念,通过类比分析,剖析高等职业院校校领导、学院(系部)、教师、学生各层级的"能量"源、流动去向及效率,认为当前影响高等职业教育内涵发展的主要因素是课程质量和师资队伍水平,制约高等职业教育人才培养质量的"瓶颈"之一就是学校教学工作中的课堂教学实际效率,并提出提高职院校教育教学工作"生态"效率的有效途径。

于漪语思维教育观的基本点是：为了适应时代的需要，语教学改革必须把着眼点转换到开发智能，提高素质的方面来，语教学要坚持以语言和思维训练为核心，深化课堂教学改革，不拎空地搞智力开发，要结合语读写听说能力的训练发展学生思维能力，进行思维教育，教师要提高自身语言和思维的内在素质，并重视启发式教学。     

Examining Online Instruction in Undergraduate Nursing Education

Web-based courses have increased in number as one of the primary modes of distance education in undergraduate nursing programs across the United States. An online survey of 171 nursing faculty in the United States with experience teaching Web-based courses served as the primary data source. Interviews and a review of course Web sites provided additional comparative information. Results of this study indicated online faculty spent significantly more time in planning and implementing a Web course than they did a traditional course. Despite this time commitment respondents perceived the teaching experience to be a successful and effective form of instruction that they felt could be used to deliver any type of nursing course. The online teaching experience was described as both collaborative and highly interactive. Most respondents indicated they preferred online teaching to traditional face-to-face instruction. This positive reaction to teaching online supports the future viability of Web-based instruction at colleges of nursing.     

高职院校工学结合实训教学质量评价

工学结合的实训教学解决的问题是在教学中如何实现学习过程与工作过程的集成,并在教学中渗透企业管理和企业文化对学生的熏陶。评价工学结合实训教学质量,应将实训内容、实训条件、实训教学队伍、实训组织、实训考核和实训管理列为重点评价内容及指标,实施全员过程评价。     

高职商务英语专业人才培养模式的再探索——基于我校商务英语专业人才培养模式

本文分析了商务英语在其发展过程中面临的一系列问题,旨在探索基于"学商一体、行业先导"、阶梯型实践教学、校企合作、"工学结合"、"双师"队伍建设的高职商务英语专业课程体系,以期提高高职商务英语教学质量,有效培养具有较强英语交际能力和商务实践能力的复合型、应用型商务英语专业人才。     

浅谈健美操教学模式的创新

健美操教学应树立以学生发展为本的课程观,启发学生学习的自主性和创造性为重要内容,以全面提高学生素质为目的的健美操专项课素质教育模式,摆脱传统的固定班级授课制的束缚,实行分层教学,培养学生的创新精神,开创学生积极主动的学习新模式,为我国高等院校健美操教学的改革提供了新的实践经验。     

民办高校英语师资队伍建设的问题与对策

师资队伍建设是影响教学质量的关键,加强英语师资队伍建设对于提高民办高校英语教学质量具有重大意义。当前,民办高校英语师资队伍建设中存在的问题不少,严重影响了民办高校英语教学质量的提高。就民办高校英语师资队伍建设中存在的一些问题作一番探讨,并试从政府、学校、英语部门的角度提出一些对策。     

Improving instruction of veteran physics professors

In spite of the abundance of publications describing university faculty development programs and activities, little is known about the effectiveness of such programs on specific disciplines or subject areas. The fact that differences have been identified in the dimensions on which students of different university departments rate their teachers suggests that instructors of different departments need different types of programs for teaching improvement. This article describes a study that has looked into methods for improving instruction of university physics full professors with many years of teaching experience. Two methods for this aim were examined for effectiveness: a workshop and individualized consultation, both augmenting students' midterm ratings of their instructors. Analysis of pre- and postworkshop questionnaires reveals impressive improvement on the majority of items, particularly those of specific teaching techniques discussed in the workshop, but not on the global ratings of the teacher. The special consultation procedure has been shown to bring about substantial increase on overall teaching performance. We conclude that veteran teachers are often unable to improve significantly their overall teaching performance when provided with midterm feedback from students' questionnaires or when participating in a workshop for teaching improvement. Improving their instruction requires substantial and continuous expert consultation as well as investing substantial time and efforts of their own.

专业学位教育的发展需要一支过硬的师资队伍,但我国专业学位教育师资队伍目前存在思想观念偏差、教学方式陈旧、教师结构不合理等一系列问题。加强专业学位教育师资队伍建设：一是要强化专业学位教育地位,稳定教师队伍;二是要整合资源,组建符合专业学位教育要求的师资队伍;三是要加强培训,全面提高师资队伍素质。     

Re-play: Re-assessing the effectiveness of an arts partnership in teacher education

RE-PLAY: RE-ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF AN ARTS PARTNERSHIP IN CANADIAN TEACHER EDUCATION – Elementary teachers in Canada are increasingly expected to deliver arts instruction in their classrooms, as financial exigencies have restricted the hiring of specialists. This study examines the effectiveness of an arts partnership between a Canadian university faculty of education and local-area school boards. In this partnership, university staff and specialist arts teachers together delivered the integrated arts component in teacher education. Findings indicate that specialist arts instruction, peer learning methods and theory/practice integration strengthen such training in the arts. Specialist arts teachers can enhance the instructional effectiveness of teacher-candidates by introducing current classroom teaching strategies, concrete activities, up-to-date resources and classroom management techniques. The confidence of beginning teachers to teach the arts can be promoted by observing colleagues, engaging in team learning activities, and obtaining peer feedback. The use of integrated arts theory and a focus on practical applications of concepts, coupled with reflective discussion, can also be seen to promote conceptual understanding. A further recommendation involves expanding the role of the arts in teacher education to foster cultural diversity.

绩效技术正成为教育技术学科日益关注的一个领域。高职教师教学绩效评价是提高教学质量的关键,它直接影响着学生知识技能的获得和教师教学水平的提高。提出将绩效技术融入高职教学绩效评价的改革设想,并以此为基础,设计出基于绩效技术的高职教学绩效评价ADDIE模型。     

Classroom Assessment of Student Competencies

The primary objective is to report on a classroom assessment model that provides an alternative approach to assessing competencies that can be readily adapted in academic settings committed to continuous quality improvement (CQI). The procedures described in this report advance two critical areas of education. First, they provide a model for faculty to assess the impact of their teaching on student mastery of course competencies. Second, they provide a basis for applying the continuous quality improvement philosophy to the classroom.     

关于高职院校系级教学质量监控体系的思考

教学质量是高等职业院校生存和发展的生命线,科学有效的教学质量监控体系是提高教学质量的重要保证。系部是学院组织教学活动的主体,是教学管理工作的基层组织,学院教学质量的提高很大程度上有赖于系部教学质量监控的质量;加强系部教学质量监控,建立和完善系部教学质量监控体系,对提高教学质量具有十分重要的意义。

信息技术与体育教学整合是体育教育现代化的一个发展方向。本文就目前信息技术与高校体育教学整合实践中存在的问题进行了分析,并从加强信息技术应用环境建设、提升教师信息技术素养和构建新型体育教学模式等三个方面提出对策和建议,旨在为促进信息技术与高校体育教学的优化整合提供理论上的参考。     

Trends and Issues in Improving University Teaching

This study reports the trends and issues related to the teaching improvement efforts at the National University of Singapore as a whole and in the Medical Faculty in particular. The university‐wide study is mainly based on the returns of a questionnaire evaluating the Teaching Methodology courses conducted in conjunction with the Institute of Education, Singapore in the past seven years (1981 – 1987). The perceptions and meanings regarding teaching improvement efforts that are derived from interviews with a purposive sample of Medical Faculty members confirm the advantages of the developmental approach of instructional and faculty development. The main issues derived from the study centres around questions about academic staff needs of educational courses, the effects of improved teaching on learning, and the ability of media and information technology to improve the quality of teaching. The study shows the emergence of the following trends: 1) There is an increasing recognition that all lecturers need some basic teaching methodology courses. 2) Improved teaching that emphasizes the education of the whole person especially in professional programmes rather than on specific vocational training produces better educated professionals. 3) The integration of various alternative media and modern technology with large and small group teaching has been increasingly used to improve instruction.     

The localization,diagnostic, and monitoring functions of student ratings in a model for improving university teaching

A diversity of student questionnaires are used by colleges and universities to provide data on faculty teaching performance. Yet the purposes for collecting this data are frequently unclear, and at times superficial. Rarely is student rating data used as a tool to improve faculty teaching. A more relevant approach incorporates a variety of types of student ratings into a model for improving university teaching. One type of student rating data is used to identify broad instructional problem areas. Another type pinpoints probable causes and solutions for the instructional problems. Instructional improvement procedures are designed on the basis of this data. A third type of student rating data evaluates the instructional improvement procedures and indicates when modifications are needed. In addition to these three types of student ratings, and the generation of appropriate questionnaires, this paper presents an overview of the teaching improvement model and discusses its effectiveness.
