微课程是微型学习的一种具体形式,主要以短时视频为载体记录微型化的教学内容,是对传统教学模式的革新.借助微课程可以有效利用碎片化时间进行随时随地学习,有助于形成新的学习理念.文章首先简要回顾了微课程的起源以及发展现状,对其概念、特征进行了探讨,然后针对微课程内容从降低认知负荷的角度提出了五个设计原则,在此基础上提出了微课程设计的方法与合适的教学应用模型.  相似文献

This paper reports on a design-based research (DBR) process for designing, implementing, and refining a problem-based learning (PBL) course on educational digital video (DV) use and production at the University of Lapland’s Faculty of Education. The study focuses on the students’ learning processes and outcomes from the viewpoint of meaningful learning. The research subjects included two pilot students and ten students enrolled in the course. To promote the reliability of the findings, data of various kinds and from multiple sources were used, including video recordings of the PBL tutorial sessions. The results suggest that PBL offers a good model to support students’ knowledge and skills in producing and using educational DV. In addition, the results suggest that DV production can be used as a method to learn about the subject matter of the DVs.  相似文献

There is a general consensus among researchers and teacher educators that classroom video can be a valuable tool for pre-service teacher education. Media such as video are not, however, in themselves effective. They have to be embedded in an instructional program to be useful. Yet, little empirical research examines how specific instructional approaches might effectively exploit the potential of video in teacher education. In this study we explored the use of two video-based university courses, one representing a cognitive instructional strategy integrating video, the other representing a situative strategy. Using data from learning journals we analyzed the effects of the two strategies on pre-service teachers’ (N = 28) ability to reflect on classroom video. We found that the two strategies have distinct impacts on the kinds of reflection patterns that are fostered. Our findings suggest that the learning goal and purpose at hand should determine which instructional strategy should be employed when embedding classroom video into teacher education courses.  相似文献

视频作为一种教育数字媒体,一直以来都是教育技术学研究的重要领域。视频运用于教师教育的发展经历了微格教学、交互分析、建模专家教学、基于视频案例的研究、超媒体项目5个阶段。每个阶段的发展都基于教学理论的发展与进步,而且在不同阶段视频资源的教育应用是并行兼用的。基于"跨越式优秀课例资源网"的调研发现,当前视频资源的教育应用存在视频内容粗加工、视频支持技术单薄和视频资源应用范畴有限三大典型问题,不利于教师教育的持续发展和学科领域的深入发展。在互联网技术和数字设备广泛普及的信息时代,技术的助力为视频资源的教育创新应用提供了更广泛的空间,也为解决当前存在的问题提供了可能途径。回顾和审视当前国内外有关教育视频资源开发与应用的技术及项目,可以发现,教育视频资源应从内容开发、活动设计、交互技术、语义技术、应用机制5个方面进行纵深发展,从而实现教师的深度有效学习和个性化协作学习,并促进教育视频研究的螺旋式发展。  相似文献

This article explores the use of classroom video as a tool for fostering productive discussions about teaching and learning. The setting for our research is a 2-year mathematics professional development program, based on the Problem-Solving Cycle model. This model relies on video from the teachers’ own classrooms and emphasizes creating a community in which members feel comfortable learning from video. We describe our experiences carrying out the Problem-Solving Cycle model, focusing on our use of video, our efforts to promote a supportive and analytical environment, and the ways in which teachers’ conversations around video developed over a 2-year period.  相似文献

In this paper standards and recent trends in video-based teaching and learning research are presented. Three trends are described: 1. Methodological advances in using video for measuring processes of teaching and learning. 2. Using video for improving teacher education. 3. Embedding video sequences as stimuli in tests for assessing professional teacher competencies. The trends are based on the state-of-art in video-based research. Common standards are described and recent developments are identified. As a conclusion the authors argue for evidence-based use of video in teaching and learning research. This includes further efforts in providing basic research regarding specific effects of video on the acquisition of professional competencies.  相似文献

As classrooms begin to adopt a greater number of digital technologies such as computers and tablets, it is important for educators to understand how effective such tools can be in aiding in the delivery of instruction to students who struggle in mathematics, such as those identified with a learning disability in mathematics. One digital‐based instructional strategy with a limited research base for students with a learning disability is video modeling. Through a single subject alternating treatments design, this study compared the use of video modeling to face‐to‐face explicit instruction for teaching geometry word problems to three secondary students with a learning disability in mathematics. Across 10 sessions of intervention, all three students demonstrated improved performance on all dependent variables with both interventions, while the explicit instruction condition produced slightly greater accuracy scores for two of the three students. The results and their implications for the field of mathematics are discussed.  相似文献

This paper discusses a year‐long technology integration project during which teachers and researchers joined forces to explore children's collaborative activities through the use of touch screens. In the research project discussed in this paper, 16 touch screens were integrated into teaching and learning activities in two separate classrooms; the learning and collaborative processes were captured by using a video, collecting over 150 hours of footage. By using digital research technologies and a longitudinal design, the authors of the research project studied how teachers and children gradually integrated touch screens into their teaching and learning. This paper examines the methodological usefulness of video‐based multimodal analysis. Through reflection on the research project, we discuss how, by using video‐based multimodal analysis, researchers and teachers can study children's touch‐screen supported collaboration and how researchers and teachers can learn together.  相似文献

随着教育信息化的发展,如何提升学生的学习投入度成为了当前研究者重点关注的话题。文章运用视频分析法,对智慧教室中不同学科课程视频的学生课堂学习投入度进行编码分析,探究在不同教学环节、技术功能、教学组织形式等教学活动类型相关要素的影响下学生主动学习投入、被动学习投入、互动学习投入和非投入行为的分布特点,发现:在文章所涉课堂案例中,智慧教室中学生的课堂学习投入度情况良好,技术的使用能够促进学生的主动学习投入。基于此,文章针对智慧教室中如何更好地提升学生的学习投入度这一问题提出了相关建议,以期为课堂教学实践及相关研究提供参考。  相似文献
