The Young Man’s Madness in The Raven

The raven is a narrative poem written by American writer Edgar Allan Poe. It tells of a talking raven’s mysterious visit in a midnight to a distraught lover, tracing the lover’s slow fall into madness. The lover is lamenting the loss of his beloved, Lenore.
