创造力研究与创新人才培养——21世纪教育的基本主题

“知识经济”时代的到来,必然要求我们对创新人才与创造力进行深刻的研究与探讨,而对创造力的界定既包含事实的判断,也包含着价值取向的内容;创造性思维作为创造力的核心和关键要素对创造力有着重要的影响。笔者从知识经验、创造动机与兴趣、榜样与帮助者及中小学教学方法等４个方面论述了我国教师在培养学生创造力方面应当注意的问题和应当采取的措施。     

CONFLICT OF INTEREST BETWEEN CENTRALIZED AND UNIVERSITY‐LEVEL GOVERNING BODIES: THE TURKISH CASE

University governance in Turkey has undergone drastic changes throughout its history. At times, all policy‐making and planning were left to the universities, with no accountability to any outside body, even though these were state‐funded institutions. In 1981, a Council of Higher Education was established to serve as a planning and coordinating body. It also sets minimum requirements for curricula, which otherwise are designed by the individual university. Turkey has thus been able to achieve academic autonomy combined with the accountability of the universities to the community.     

TOGETHER WITH QUESTIONING MINDS: SOPHIA LYON FAHS (1876-1978)

Abstract Sophia Lyon Fahs's legacy for religious education is a rich source for understanding the initial decades of the movement, its present situation and its possibilities for future growth. A theorist and practitioner, Fahs's long career in religious education witnessed the ebb and flow of evangelical, liberal, neo-orthodox, radical, and revisionist theologies. In a short section of her last full text on religious education, Fahs considered the fragmentation between the cognitive and affective aspects of religion in Western culture and put forth “some conditions for a new unity” in the form of four directives. Fahs understood these considerations to be part of a balanced pedagogy for religion, one in line with what she foresaw as challenges to religious education in seeking to harmonize classroom, worship and life experiences. The directives offer implications for the self-understanding of religious education today.     

DIFFERENT BODIES,ONE BODY: INCLUSIVE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE ROLE OF THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATOR

Barriers exist at a variety of levels that either impede or prohibit persons with disabilities from full participation within the worship, education, and mission of congregations. Placing the emerging body of literature on inclusion in congregations in conversation with a case study of one particular congregation, the author examines the sources and strategies of one church’s efforts at becoming more inclusive. The role of the Director of Christian Education, Martha Bess DeWitt, is presented, with the focus on her participation, leadership, and reflection on hospitality as central to the church’s move toward intentional inclusion of people with disabilities. BODIES R US: Ethical Views on the Commercialization of the Dead in Medical Education and Research

With the ongoing and expanding use of willed bodies in medical education and research, there has been a concomitant rise in the need for willed bodies and an increase in the means of supplying these bodies. A relatively recent development to enlarge this supply has been the growth of for- profit willed body companies (“body brokers”) in the United States. These companies advertise for donors, cover all cremation and other fees for the donor, distribute the bodies or body parts nationally and internationally, and charge their users for access to the body or body parts. In doing so, they generate substantial profits. This review examines the historical development of willed body programs, the legal and economic aspects of willed body programs, and then provides an ethical framework for the use of willed bodies. The ethical principles described include detailed informed consent from the donors, comprehensive and transparent information about the process from the body donation organizations, and societal input on the proper and legal handling of willed bodies. Based on the ethical principles outlined, it is recommended that there be no commercialization or commodification of willed bodies, and that programs that use willed bodies should not generate profit.

上个世纪八十年代有关人道主义和异化问题的大争论,其核心是马克思主义与人道主义的关系问题。文章通过对周扬以及胡乔木在这一问题上各自观点的研究、分析和比较,提出应正确认识马克思主义与人道主义的关系。     

BUREAUS AND MOVEMENTS TOWARD COOPERATION AND SYNERGISM

For some eighty years, Bureaus of Jewish Education, working under a variety of names, have served the cause of Jewish education and the Jewish community. From time to time, as have all agencies of the Jewish community, the Bureaus have had to rethink their roles. Because of radical shifts in the way Jews live their lives, the nature of Jewish community, and the emergence of Jewish education as a priority, at least, in the rhetoric of Jewish life, this would appear to be such a moment. In doing so, agencies have to understand the questions and problems that are specific to their times and also revisit old questions to find new answers. An example of the former is what happens to the advocacy role of the bureau when the Federation, at least rhetorically, adopts Jewish education as a priority. An old question that, perhaps, requires new answers is “What ought to be the relationship between Bureaus of Jewish Education and denominational movements?” In this article, I wish to turn my attention to this question, and, perhaps, provide some basis for formulating policy and ideas about practice. My response cannot help but be affected by my experience as Director of the Department of Education of The United Synagogue of America but it should not be taken as the official position of The United Synagogue.     

SIGNIFICANCE AND DIALOGUE IN LEARNING AND TEACHING

A bstract .  In this essay Andrew Metcalfe and Ann Game argue that although the term "dialogue" is commonly used in educational theory, its full significance is diluted if it is seen as a matter of exchange or negotiation of prior positions and identities. As a meeting point, they argue, dialogue suspends the senses of time, space, and ontology on which identities are based. It is therefore not simply metaphorical to say that dialogue changes lives and opens minds. Using empirical material from interviews with Australian students and teachers, Metcalfe and Game draw out the relational qualities of genuine dialogue and the significance they have for how we understand everyday classroom life.     

中国城乡跨文化心理学和区域心理学与心理学本土化

中国城乡跨文化心理学的母体是跨文化心理学,其研究的目的在于揭示个体或群体在城乡两种亚文化背景下心理活动的普遍规律,以获得文化学和心理学两方面的意义。区域心理学是指在中国文化背景下,开展系统的文化与社会心理学研究的心理学分支学科。中国是一个历史悠久、地域辽阔的人口大国,城市和乡村的文化差异较大,不同历史区域、地理区域、文化区域、生态区域生活的民众在文化社会心理方面形成了很大差异,研究中国城乡跨文化心理学和区域心理学是心理学本土化的必然要求,也是世界心理学研究的需要。
