形合和意合是两种语言组织法。英语重形合,结构紧密;汉语重意合,行文散漫。这就造成了汉英翻译中的一个独特技巧:增译和减译。在汉英翻译中增加的东西由于原来是隐含在汉语中的,加之各人的理解不同,一个"增"宇使得汉译英变得多姿多彩!因为诗歌中用词容量大,内容丰富,所以这在古汉语诗歌英译当中体现得尤为明显。本文意在从增译维度欣赏两首著名古诗的不同译本。  相似文献

《红楼梦》是古典文学史上的一株奇葩,其两个英译本(杨宪益译本和大卫.霍克斯译本)同样也是译坛的经典之作,曾被众多的翻译家和翻译爱好者欣赏和点评。笔者从形合与意合的研究角度出发,探讨了《红楼梦》的翻译艺术,并通过《红楼梦》英译本的比较,分析了形合与意合机制产生的内在动因。论文认为,英语重形合、汉语重意合的特点体现在《红楼梦》的翻译过程中,并为译者提供了阐释空间。  相似文献
